Marquise and his band did an incredible job at our wedding. This was the most important aspect of the reception for me, I love dancing at weddings and just wanted everyone to have a great time and enjoy themselves since most people were coming from so far away. Marquise certainly delivered! I cannot tell you how many people texted rave reviews about the band and the dancing the next day!! We also had the sax during cocktail hour and dinner which was fabulous! Not too loud for conversation. He was organized and led us through the planning portion well via a few zoom meetings, since we were remote. I appreciated that he gave my fiancé and I as much say as we wanted in the music, but then gladly took over when we were getting decision fatigue and just made the party happen. Marquise was truly INCREDIBLE. All anyone could talk about leaving our wedding was just how amazing he was. So many of my friends have already asked for his contact information to book him because he was just so good, and I can't wait to attend another wedding that he is playing at. He is so talented! Marquise was DJ/sax at our wedding, and he is AMAZING! We got an insane amount of compliments from guests about Marquise! We even had young, single boys saying they wanted to hire Marquise for their weddings 😂 He was so great that our whole dance floor was changing “Marquise” 2 times! Highly recommend! What an UNBELIEVABLY talented guy. The amount of guests who have mentioned wanting a live saxophonist for their weddings/parties now that they’ve seen Marquise in action only tells volumes about the quality of his performance. As a couple that loves live music but also loves edm/house music, we had a tough decision choosing between a band or DJ. Ultimately, we chose to go the DJ route and went with Dan Quinn who referred Marquise for live sax to give us the best of both worlds. We booked both and it was hands down THEEEE best decision we made for the entertainment of our night! These two are an insane duo you MUST book! Marquise had the incredibly important (and often underrated) role of setting the tone for the entire evening. Upon arrival, the first interaction our guests had when walking into the venue was Marquise playing live sax. SO MANY guests were wowed by this detail which immediately set the bar for the night. He played everything from classics to modern songs, and kept the room lively for the entire hour. Our dream was to have a pre-dinner dance set, but needed to build the excitement before the doors to the reception opened so people would be ready to dance. We relied solely on Marquise for this during the cocktail hour. We never told him what to play or do, we just showed up that day and he had executed EVERYTHING we envisioned perfectly. Marquise knew exactly what to play to keep things classy and fun, but most importantly, he played the right songs and engaged with the guests to build that excitement for the pre-dinner dancing. During dinner, having Marquise accompany our DJ was the nicest touch. Knowing we’d be focusing the latter half of the night to clubby music, we wanted to give the older crowd that live music performance, and having the sax was perfect. We never felt like we needed any other instruments - he held his own, and the fact that he could play to any and every song was so so impressive for anyone to watch and enjoy. The best part of dinner was when he did a saxogram which got all the older couples out on the dance floor to share a dance with us - this is a memory we’ll never forget!! If you think playing from cocktail hour through a two hour dinner was enough, it wasn’t. Marquise played throughout the ENTIRE reception, moving through the crowd, playing directly to our guests, and killinggg his solo moments. Having him there made our guests’ and our experience SO much more special. It’s so important for guests to be engaged during songs that they might not be familiar with, and having Marquise on the dance floor allowed that. The dance floor was filled the entire night with guests of all ages, which was all we wanted. If you are wondering whether or not you need live sax, just do it. Every one of our guests left the wedding weekend talking about Marquise and how incredible he was throughout the night. If you are questioning who to book, don’t hesitate and book Marquise RIGHT NOW!! He is absolutely amazing. Starting from the time we showed interest we met with him to make sure we were a right fit. His attention to detail and making our wedding day perfect so clear through the entire process. We had a meeting about a month out to make sure that we were all on the same page. Come to the day of he was amazing!! We had him running with ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and send off all in different places in the venue it was a seamless transition between them all. I surprised my husband with Marquise playing the saxophone and everyone was blown away. He went above and beyond with how well he dismissed people to eat. The dance floor was pack ALL NIGHT LONG!!!! We have had so many people reach out to tell us how amazing he was and many ask for his information to book him! He can read a room like no other I’ve ever seen and did everything we asked for and more! We could go on forever about how incredible he is! If there is ever another time I need a DJ I’m calling him! Our venue and photographer both recommended him as the best person to work with!

Marquise!!! I cannot say enough great things about this man! He is the absolute best! He is professional, very personable, SO fun, great on the saxophone, best Dj and MC out there. Marquise is the life of the party and will hype your guests up to get them on the dance floor if that is what you want. We had a small wedding but I expressed to Marquise that it was important to me to still have people dancing because I love to dance! He said to me "you get on that dance floor and I'll deliver the rest, don't worry" and he did just that. From the very beginning of the day to the very end of the night, Marquise worked hard in making sure our day was nothing but the best for us and was exactly what we wanted. He was such a pleasure to work with! My favorite part is when he played the Game of Thrones theme song during dinner on Sax. That stole the show, people are still talking about it! Marquise was absolutely AMAZING! He was so helpful with the preparations for our wedding by sending us vendors he had worked with. He also was wonderful with meeting us on zoom since we didn’t live in Dallas. He put our minds at ease as far as how the music would go and was always very organized. On the wedding day we could not have been more impressed. He was there plenty early. He is more than just a DJ he is a musician himself and plays the saxophone which was great entertainment for our guest and made our wedding feel so unique. He helped contribute to the wedding of our dreams! Since our wedding we have already recommended him to friends who are getting married!

Marquise was so amazing! He truly made the wedding night perfect, he was a great emcee and DJ and he won everyone over with his saxophone covers. He really took the time to get to know us as a couple and was able to add personal, memorable moments to our night because of it. We had multiple planning meetings, he worked hard to make sure we wouldn’t hear songs we didn’t want to hear, and he nailed down our vibe perfectly! I would recommend him to any bride!! Marquise is the BEST!! Throughout my husband and I's wedding planning process, he was extremely helpful! We met with him on a couple occasions before the wedding and he made it very evident that he wanted our day to be just what we imagined. He learned my favorite song to play while I walked down the aisle, ensured our guests were having an amazing time throughout the entire night, and was even able to make a last-minute change the day of. Marquise seriously made our WHOLE night!!!!!! He even made our guests whole night!!!! Marquise is the BEST!!! Not only is he a phenomenal saxophonist but he has such a personality and charm to him that he can liven up any room. We were so happy with the work Marquise put in to MC, DJ and play Sax at our wedding. We had several pre-planning calls & meetings and he's so organized that I knew we were in good hands. I may be biased because I've had the pleasure of knowing Marquise for 17 years now and am amazed at the career he's made doing what he truly loves but we got SO many compliments from our guests about Marquise. He may have even gotten more compliments than I did as the bride! Some of our family said he was hands-down the best DJ they've ever seen at a wedding and our friends have reached out for his info in hopes to fly him out to their wedding later this year! Marquise was the most INCREDIBLE DJ and Saxophonist!! His professionalism and the care he put into our wedding day was above and beyond what we ever expected! And along came Marquise Pro, who was the best of both! He played the SAX during cocktail hour and killed the DJ for reception, he was awesome at reading the room which was important to me. Marquis was such a great pick for our wedding. He plays the saxophone and he is a DJ, you just can’t get any better. Everybody at our wedding LOVED him, he played Roddy Rich “The Box” on his saxophone, Oh My GOSH, WOW!! My sister pointed out that he had everybody participating during the cake cutting because a lot of weddings that she has been to not a lot of people participated. Marquis had everybody up vibing to AL Green “I’m So in Love with You”, one of the best moments of the night. We highly recommend him, such a generous man. Thank you for everything.

Marquise absolutely glued our wedding together! He read the (outside) room perfectly and everyone enjoyed the music and really loved when he played the sax! Anytime he was unsure what to play he ran over to us to get the next thing going! It would not have run so smoothly without his announcements (in a very clear and pleasant voice) and perfect song choices for every moment! He was definitely there to help us. We will definitely be calling him any time we need a DJ!!

I know it’s long, but stick with it... :) We can not recommend Marquise enough! We met him at our venue’s grand opening last fall, and we were just floored by his talent, bright personality and friendly, fun demeanor. The talent he has on the saxophone and as a DJ is impressive, and the combination of having a live instrument, and a DJ was exactly what we were hoping for. Sadly he was booked for the original date we thought we wanted. However, hours later we found out our officiant wouldn’t be able to make that date and decided to move it two weeks later. We immediately reached out to Marquise and he was up front that while he was available, he did have another couple also interested in that date, that they had a contract he was just waiting to get back signed, but that he had not heard from them in almost two months. He said he would let them know someone else was interested, and whoever got the contract in first would get the date (very fair I think!) Unfortunately I was traveling for work and wasn’t able to get ours in and so we lost the chance to have him at our wedding. We struggled to find anyone that compared to his talent, and couldn’t find someone ANYWHERE that was a Saxaphonist with his level of talent and a good, engaging DJ. Marquise even tried multiple times to connect us to people he knew that could either be an option for part of our vision, or might know someone who was. We ultimately found an awesome local musician for the cocktails and dinner who sings and plays guitar, and another DJ for the rest of the night that came recommended by our planner, but still felt something was missing from the after dinner part of the night. Fast forward a few months later, we have to postpone our spring wedding to mid summer due to Covid (ugh!) and of course the first thing we did was call Marquise to see when he was available... But this time, as soon as we picked a final date and knew he was free, we booked him without hesitation. Booking Marquise was one of the best decisions we made! We kept our local musician, and had both he and Marquise play together for the cocktail hours before and after the ceremony, and through dinner. It was absolutely PERFECT! They had never met and played like they’d played together for years, it was incredible. We got multiple compliments on how awesome it was, and what a great job Marquise did through the night. You truly cannot go wrong with booking Marquise for your wedding or event. He is professional, kind, friendly, incredibly talented as a Sax player and DJ, super fun, and just an all around good person. Don’t think twice... book him NOW before someone else takes him! You will not regret it. Marquise, thank you for making our day everything we dreamed of, despite all the changes we had to make with Covid, and only having less than 1/3 of our original guest count. It would not have been the same without you! We wish you all the best, and will certainly be calling you when we do our casual reception reboot once all this stuff settles and people are ok with traveling!

HIRE THIS MAN!! I cannot say enough good things about Marquise! My husband and I booked Marquise to play the Saxophone at our June 2020 wedding. Marquise played when I walked down the aisle, he played during cocktail hour, joined in with our DJ during the reception, and finally Marquise ended the night by playing during our grand exit. Our guests cannot stop talking about how much fun Marquise was and how much energy he brought to the night. 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing DJ service. Down to Earth Personality and knows how to work a crowd. We loved having Marquise at our wedding. Guest have talked about him ever since. My Husband heard him at another event before we even got engaged and knew he would be at our wedding! It's like he became part of our wedding party and our friend. I would recommend him over and over again 100%! Amazing attitude, professional, punctual, and all around best service i could have asked for!

You guys!!! Marquise is incredibly talented. He was in charge of our ceremony instrumental music, our mics for our officiant, our lighting, and DJing our reception. He did all of the above beyond our expectations!!! I could not recommend a better person/vendor for this job. He is easy to communicate with and genuinely cares about your event! He played the sax and everyone at our wedding absolutely loved him. He truly goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. We were so very grateful for him as a vendor!

Marquise is absolutely the best to work with! We had an Indian Catholic wedding so it was a mix of American and Indian traditions. We had already booked our Indian DJ for the reception but knew we wanted a sax player for our cocktail hour which was outside to give our guests a jazz/romantic vibe. I actually found Marquise on Instagram and reached out to him after I saw some of his videos he posted (which sounded awesome!). He was available to do our cocktail hour and he also agreed to play for our first dance which my friend was singing for. He was so accommodating for everything we wanted that weekend! He even played some Indian cover songs during our cocktail hour. He stayed the whole night playing his sax with the DJ music and our dhol (indian drummer) player - both went so well together and the crowd loved it! I highly recommend him for any wedding!

Marquise was amazing! I have always loved the saxophone. It was a dream come true to have him perform at our wedding. Our guests have not stopped raving about him. He was very professional, but also very personable and accommodating. We chose to have him play as guests arrived and during our cocktail hour in addition to our ceremony. It was perfect. His ease and expertise playing in front of small groups to very large ones makes him a rare treasure. I couldn't have asked for a better musician and all around nice guy.
