In the months leading up to our wedding, we went through premarital counseling with Ricky and his precious wife Nova, where he showed a deep and genuine care for us and the health of our relationship, that we might enter into our marriage as healthy individuals that would not just survive marriage, but thrive and flourish as a newly united couple. His love for people and the Lord, was clearly evident on our wedding day, making the day personal by including elements that are unique to our story, while orienting the entire service to glorifying the Lord. He held up the seriousness of the moment and yet kept it joy-filled, celebratory, and light-hearted. He did a fantastic job!
