A couple's own vows are welcome and encouraged for the occasion, allowing for an honest and authentic celebratory experience. Marie is flexible and willing to perform any ceremony type, ranging from traditional to themed to handfasting rituals - the choice is yours on your special day. An officiant since 2016, Marie caters to multiple religious affiliations and ritual styles. The officiant is available for ceremony rehearsals. Marriages by Marie offers services in English as well as Spanish.

My (now husband ) Tom and I hired Marie to marry us in Lake Tahoe for an outdoor wedding in June. She was very organized. She provided us vows to work off of. She had suggestions. She advised on wedding license procedures. Marie showed up...

early. She was very accommodating because we had weather issues, so we had to make some adjustments. Her husband joined her, and helped take pictures. She was a joy to work with. Pricing was excellent....taking into account the ceremony, travel time and cost and license filings.

Wonderful, professional, personal touch. She was timely, coordinated with the theme of the event, and kept the mood uplifting and warm for each of the guests. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for an officiant in the Reno area.

were meaningful. Some speeches can seem like it is full of filler, this was not the case. The speech and ceremony were captivating so it held your attention. It was a beautiful wedding.

xactly right. She worked with us to make sure we were happy with the wording of ceremony and vows, was available for rehearsal, photos, and was flexible about including the children in the dual ceremony. I highly recommend her.
