and thorough. He talked us through each part of the ceremony to help us decide what we wanted and took it from there. We could have made it as custom or generic as we wanted. In the end, all we really did was provide the readings we wanted and Mark did the rest!! We ended up wanting to have one super customized (potentially never done before.. :] ) part of the ceremony and really relied on Mark to come through with something really cool -- and boy did he deliver! The day of the wedding, he arrived with plenty of time to review the game plan with us. He was efficient in having our witnesses sign the license and getting all the paperwork taken care of. As for the ceremony itself, he crushed it!! He delivered a perfect balance of romantic and fun, which is exactly what we were looking for. To the crowd, they would have never know prior to the wedding day that we had only interacted with Mark virtually. We received so many compliments throughout the night and even still, 3 weeks later, about the flow of his ceremony, his charisma, his personality and humor. The day of the wedding is so stressful for Brides and Mark took away any stress related to the ceremony part of the day. I'm so thankful we found him. We are so happy with our choice to have Mark perform our ceremony and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!

Him being there so early and taking the time to sit with me beforehand and talk about how excited he was to be a part of our special day was incredibly sweet. Throughout the ceremony, he kept it light with a big smile on his face. His rapport with me and my husband was so good that we had people after the ceremony ask how long we've known "our friend who officiated the wedding." Throughout the time leading up, any time I had a question, regardless of how dumb it was, Mark was quick to respond with his always kind and cheery demeanor. Honestly, Mark, you were amazing and I will never be able to thank you enough for making our wedding ceremony perfect.

ing, we FaceTimed for about 15 minutes and discussed all of the details for the ceremony. We discussed pricing and time lines of that day and confirmed that he would be there. He also told me not to be alarmed if he was not at the rehearsal because he works a full time job and the venue will walk me through his ceremony because he is there often. The rehearsal comes, and I was obviously not alarmed when he did not show because of our previous conversations. At rehearsal, the venue said that this is normal for him and that because he is there often they will be directing the rehearsal. So on the wedding day, 15 minutes before the ceremony, he is still not there. My venue decided to call and see where he was, and he told them over and over again that he had no idea who I was or what they were taking about. I then called him (on the number we used for all of our conversations) from my cell phone, and he still tried telling me he had no idea who I was. When I began to tell him we FaceTimed about the entire ceremony in lengthy details, he said “well what was that like a year ago”. I then responded no, it hasn’t even been a full two weeks since we FaceTimed. He still perscieted to tell me that he had no notes about me and has no idea who I am. I then hung up because we needed to figure out a solution and you know GET MARRIED. However, it was not until I hung up and immediately sent him screen shots of all of our text conversations and our FaceTime logs that he began to appologize for his mistake. I just can’t begin to understand how someone can reach out to you several times about your wedding and then try to convince everyone else that he has no idea who you are. The best part is, the night of the wedding during our phone conversations I did not once refer to my husband or use his name. And then in his “appology” text he included my husbands name. So he obviously knew who we were. LONG STORY SHORT DO NOT TRUST HIM. THIS MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE ONLY TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH HIS 5 STAR REVIEWS, BUT IT STILL HAPPENED. People make mistakes and I understand that, but your wedding is supposed to be the best day of your life and it’s not something for people mess up or “forget”.

Mark helped ease our nerves the day of the ceremony especially with his knowledge of the venue and staff; he even helped the venue move our flowers from ceremony to reception. Mark’s ceremony was the right blend of light and traditional. Many of our guests commented on how great the ceremony was as a reflection of our personalities, and how Mark’s handling of the ceremony helped achieve that reflection. We highly recommend Mark to any couple looking for someone who is supportive and flexible, and brings the right balance of humor and respect to a wedding ceremony.
