husband and I come from Catholic families but did not want a church wedding. After some thought (and hard-wired Catholic guilt) we decided to include some elements from our upbringing to make our families happy. After discussing with Maureen, she knew exactly what to include in the ceremony.
Maureen explained thoroughly how she usually does the ceremony, including bringing our marriage certificate to the borough office. She sent us all the information on the marriage license and clearly explained the process.
Day of she was well prepared, even having printed versions of our vows in case we forgot or misplaced them (and trust me, something is bound to fall through, and one of us did!) Maureen brought an incredibly warm presence to the room and brought me and my husband's love for one another to light--half the room was in tears from such a beautiful and true moment!
Our ceremony was unforgettable and we have Maureen to thank for it!

ommitment to the wedding process and to making our wedding ceremony as smooth as possible. Maureen was very knowledgeable about the marriage and marriage certificate process. Most importantly, she kept in touch with us through the months, making sure that we were all on the same page regarding the timing and wording of our ceremony. She called us two days before to make final adjustments. On the day of the wedding, Maureen was engaging but not over the top. Immediately after our short ceremony, Maureen stepped out of the way and we were able to focus on photos with our family and friends. Then she disappeared as she had said she would. If you are looking for an officiant who is engaging, committed and knowledgeable, look no further than Maureen. She is the real deal.

out both! We didn't have anyone chosen to do our handfasting and she made an executive decision to have the mothers tie the rope, which was a surprisingly sweet moment! You will not go wrong with her! I loved having her!

ment. I’m so glad our paths crossed with Maureen! Right away, we knew she would be the perfect match for us. She is super quick to respond and answers questions both via email and text. She has a very bubbly and exciting personality. She’s exudes a positive energy and made me feel excited for my wedding again after lots of stress. She is very professional, but funny and easy to talk to! Maureen gave me some helpful suggestions for our ceremony when we were stumped, and provided some input and guidance on what we provided. She also sent us a general outline of how the ceremony would flow so we felt prepared.
The day of our wedding, the ceremony was perfect and Maureen did an amazing job! We wanted a quick, lighthearted, and romantic ceremony and that’s EXACTLY what Maureen gave us! I know it’s not common for guests to compliment your officiant, but many of our friends and family told us they loved the ceremony and how Maureen held the room with her energy.
We can’t say enough great things about her! You won’t be disappointed if you choose her as your officiant!
