As an officiant, Evan offers a personalized experience. Before your magical day, you can avail of pre-marital counseling to help you be prepared for your life to come (totally optional). When it comes to the main event, he will be there to customize a ceremony that reflects a couple’s life together. Whether you are exchanging vows in front of a great crowd or eloping in an intimate setting, his personable approach remains the same. Evan believes in celebrating romance in every form. He crafts ceremonies of all types, from civil unions and nondenominational events to religious occasions and vow-renewals. This seasoned officiant offers four package options to fit all styles. The wedding and vow renewals plan involves a one-to-one consultation, and a personalized ceremony. The elopement option involves the handling of official documents and a short, intimate service. For couples seeking a simple signing to make things official, Evan will oversee things. Afterward, this devoted family man can provide guidance on navigating married life.
As a happily-married man of 29 years, it is safe to say that officiant Evan knows a thing or two about what makes a marriage work. It comes as no surprise that he has devoted over 13 years to overseeing wedding ceremonies and uniting couples in marriage. Evan married his high school sweetheart and together they have raised four much-loved daughters. He shares a close bond with his four sons-in-law and he lives for the time spent with his two precious grandsons. On the more practical side, his communication is prompt which anyone planning a wedding can appreciate. He's open to any requests you have and really listens to what you want in the ceremony, not what is "tradition."
I also just want to mention that there was a point before the ceremony where we couldn't find my ring...as any bride can imagine I was flipping out. In the midst of all that, Evan was standing their working with the coordinator on what they could do. It really stood out to me that he jumped in to help problem solve even though that wasn't required of him. Just shows how he goes above and beyond for his clients!

took the time to help us understand his style and how he would present the ceremony as well as understand the differences in his pricing structure. We chose the option that includes an in-person meeting a few weeks before the wedding. That was so clutch. I think we met for almost 2 hours. He really took the time to get to know us, both with asking direct questions about our story as well as learning what we wanted to include or not include in the ceremony. Leaving that meeting, we were confident we had made a good selection. He was professional but relaxed and because he really took time to get to know us, we felt confident that he was going to deliver a the type of ceremony we wanted with the right combination of solemnity but also relaxed without being too casual. We also paid for him to come to the rehearsal, again, money well spent. Again, he was so professional and as all those last minute details were coming at us, I felt highly confident that once the ceremony started we would be in good hands.
For the actual ceremony I can not only say we were delighted but in fact many of our guests commented positively on Evan. He really delivered. His style was exactly what we wanted: professional but not stiff; he struck the right balance reflecting the solemnity of the occasion but the ceremony clearly reflected our talk beforehand. He seamlessly wove details from what we had shared in such a manner that they flowed with the more scripted parts of the ceremony. At no time did it feel like he was on script and then had a "insert detail here" part- it just flowed and was as if he had custom written it (which in fact he had).
