From our first meeting online, my now wife and I knew that our search was over. Evan was personable, professional and prepared to create a ceremony experience like no other. He took careful attention to note the details of our story, mark down our preferences for our day of, and listen to our questions each step of the way. On our wedding day, Evan arrived well ahead of schedule to prepare and discuss the specifics of our upcoming ceremony. When our ceremony began, the story that Evan told was both warming and light hearted. You wouldn't have known that we were strangers to Evan just a few short months ago. Our friends and family raved about Evan's mastery of his craft for the rest of the evening. We will forever look back fondly on our wedding day and remain forever grateful that we chose to be Married By Evan!

We were so lucky to have Hector as our wedding officiant! We planned our wedding in under two weeks, and Evan made the booking process incredibly easy, even on such short notice. Hector and his team went above and beyond to accommodate us, and their flexible pricing options and various packages really stood out from other officiants we considered. Evan was the perfect officiant for our wedding. My wife and I met with him to see if he was the right fit for our ceremony and immediately we knew that he understood our wedding needs. We hired him immediately. We met with Evan about a week before our wedding date so that we could align our expectations for the ceremony and he was more than accommodating. We asked for a non-religious ceremony and he provided as requested. On the wedding day itself, Evan stopped by each the bride and groom's prep room to offer a calming word and to check in on us. The ceremony went without a hitch, and he made sure to make it all about us. Thanks to him, our marriage license paperwork was flawless and we had no issues on that end. We would highly recommend Married By Evan to anyone who needs an officiant.

The entire experience was wonderful. Evan had excellent communication, and really listened to everything we wanted. The experience we received was far greater than I expected. Originally we planned on just going to the Justice of the Peace, but I’m glad we chose him. Everything turned out so much better.

Evan and his team made sure I had the bar experience of my dreams at my wedding. I was so nervous about the amount of alcohol, what mixers, etc. to have and Evan put a quick stop to any and all worries that I had and answered them with ease. Also...if you need custom cups, bar signs, etc---he is your guy and was so amazing with that process. If you are looking for a team to completely make the bar service something you won't need to stress about on your big day, this is the team for you!

My husband and I then filled out a simple-but-thorough questionnaire of what we wanted for our ceremony, and boy did he deliver! He showed up & got straight to business. Where do I start…….Evan was absolutely amazing. When we meet him over zoom we instantly felt like we knew him forever. During this meeting Evan asked us some interview questions to write our story and when marrying us the way he was able to translate those details was awesome so much that our friends and family also thought we knew him.
The wedding was amazing and the preparation beforehand on what to do and how made it so easy.
My wedding was at the Gala 417 and Evan is very familiar with the venue and staff so again that made it easy.
If I could give more than 5 stars. I would!

We hired Married by Evan after reading all the glowing reviews from couples who had used him to officiate their weddings at our venue, Gala 417. From our very first email, Evan's prompt communication and straightforward packages made the booking process a breeze.
We chose to meet Evan in person for lunch so he could get to know us better and craft a personalized script for our wedding day. He came prepared with thoughtful questions and took many notes, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.
We also asked him to attend our rehearsal, and Evan’s jovial and lighthearted personality was a breath of fresh air. With his humor and expertise, he helped make what could have been a stressful day into a fun and relaxed experience. It’s clear he has officiated many weddings, as he shared helpful best practices, tips, and tricks throughout.
On our wedding day, Evan delivered a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony that perfectly captured both my husband and me. A little bit ago my husband and I had a small elopement. I was new to all the things required to make a marriage official and Mr. Poe was amazing. Very helpful he gave us information on what to do before the elopement and what we need to do after. He also gave me information on steps I need to take for name changing. He was very insightful and we truly appreciated him helping us with our very special day!

We were very satisfied with all of Evan’s “Silver Package” services from start to finish! My wife Maria and I saw some videos on Evan's website when we were engaged. We really appreciated Evan’s incorporation of Christian elements, personalization of the ceremonies, and seamless delivery and presentation of the newlyweds. When we met with him he was clearly interested in both of our stories about how we met and how our love grew, and even chose some well-placed lyrics from one of our favorite songs for the ceremony. During the ceremony he was happy for both of us to start life together, and his attention to detail was exceptional both during the ceremony and while telling us the next steps to file the paperwork properly. He was also generous enough to pray shortly at the start of the ceremony, to acknowledge our family members both in attendance and not, and to make them feel part of the ceremony as well. Overall Evan was courteous, professional, communicated clearly and respectfully and joyfully celebrated with us. Highly recommend!

Evan was wonderful! He provided us with a questionnaire to get a sense of our personalities/relationship, and tailored our ceremony perfectly. Our ceremony on the beach was exactly how we wanted it, short and sweet but still very meaningful! He was super cool, communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

We could not have picked a better officiant, he was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He wrote a beautiful script for the ceremony that was personal to us and captured our love perfectly. The poem he ended with still gives me chills and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him, he’s kinda a hot commodity around here so be sure to book him as soon you can.

We could not recommend anybody better than Evan for an officiant. He played a big part in making our special day perfect. He gave our ceremony a romantic feel with some humor mixed in which is exactly what we were looking for. Evan was AMAZING. We went to a wedding he officiated prior to getting engaged and absolutely loved him. He was the very first vendor I booked when we got engaged. He does an awesome job at personalizing the ceremony and giving you exactly what you are looking for. We opted in for the premarital counseling with him and it was so nice to get to know him on a deeper level and he gave us some great tools for a healthy and happy marriage. When looking for an officiant Married by Evan was on the list of preferred vendors at our venue. We reached out initially on availability and within hours we booked Evan, his communication is top notch. Not only did he officiate our wedding but we also used him for bartending! After speaking with Evan before our wedding, my fiancé and I knew we made the best choice. He made our ceremony so special making sure our story was told. He nailed it spot on. The ceremony really was centered around our love. As far as bartending, the drinks were amazing and we had no worry once Evan was behind the bar! When guests tell you the drinks were great, that’s all you ask for! We can’t thank Evan enough for making our day nothing short of perfect!

Evan is a total boss! He is exactly what you need out of a wedding officiant and honestly feels like a friend you’ve had for years.
We threw a crazy Indian ceremony at him and he took it in stride. He did a phenomenal job running an Indian/American fusion ceremony and we would both highly suggest him for any mixed or Indian wedding. From beginning to end he was absolutely amazing, helpful, and so fun (adding his own flair to the service).

Evan was amazing! He went over everything for the ceremony and how it would go with me before we began, gave me very clear and great instructions for what to do with the paperwork after. He also did two beautiful readings for us and incorporated a fun line of dialogue when exchanging rings that matched the theme of our wedding and it being a very iconic line. Evan was absolutely perfect for our wedding! He was able to step in when our original officiant had to back out. We did not know Evan before our ceremony and only met in person immediately before our ceremony commenced. Evan put us at ease and really led the whole ceremony. Incredibly professional and yet fun.

Evan is truly exceptional. He came highly recommended to us by both our venue and wedding coordinator. Luckily he had our date/time available and after booking Evan, as we continued to plan almost every vendor knew Evan and said that "he is the best" and they weren't lying. We chose the Silver Wedding Package, which includes just one video call. But during this one meeting, Evan took the time to get to know us as a couple and our FULL story. Day of, Evan arrived on time, wearing the colors we requested and went over specifics with my dad (father of the bride) and myself, then again separately with my groom. He made us all feel completely at ease and ready to go. His level of professionalism and calm demeaner was even more impressive when I learned that he had 5 separate weddings on our wedding day. This means he changed 5 times, traveled 5 times, and performed 5 personalized ceremonies! Wow! And when I say personalized, I really mean it. Evan took everything we said during our one meeting and wrote a beautiful script for our ceremony. Hearing all the personal touches for the first time at the alter with my husband, made the ceremony even more special and unique to us. Almost every guest complemented the ceremony and Evan specifically; some people asked how long we have known him, thinking that he was a family member or friend because of all of his personalized touches. Evan's personal connection, professionalism, genuine care, and deeply heartfelt presence is beyond comparison. I am so grateful and honored to have had him as our officiant.
