When it came to the ceremony, we kept it very simple with no readings, no rituals, and no guest speakers (although these are all options), so it was Judge Mary who really made the ceremony something to remember. We had so many people come up after to tell us that was the nicest ceremony they'd ever heard, and that was all her. We pretty much just stood there, doing our best to fend off the rising emotions and be present in the moment. It bears mentioning that beyond being a good officiant, Mary is a good person. She led the ceremony with such grace, humor, sincerity and presence. It was evident the care she'd taken in crafting a speech that fit us as individuals. This is clearly a labor of love for Judge Mary, in both the literal and figurative sense. Her fees are so low that I suspect that in many cases she might actually end up paying more in gas and time than she charges. Regardless, her work and kindness were priceless and we couldn't be more happy with the ceremony. We can't recommend Judge Mary highly enough. Our hearts are full.

Mary made sure that even though John and I lived 3 hours away, that she was going to get to know us and make our day very special and that was exactly what she did! Judge Mary is a lovely person and anyone who uses her services will not be disappointed.

She had taken the time to get to know us and included stories of our journey together. She personalized the ceremony and made everyone feel included. Mary bundled up with the rest of us and embraced the challenge. Once again, she personalized the ceremony and we all felt the love. This was one for the record books!

I honestly don’t recall how much time she spent with the bride and groom ahead of time, but she conveyed a warmth and knowledge of them personally, as though she had known them for years. It was altogether a most memorable ceremony and I highly recommend her. They are still devoted to each other, so they must have taken her words to heart!

Judge Mary asked questions to find out more about each of us (including our kids). She was positively brilliant in her receptiveness and understanding of our concerns. And what she did for our first step together as a family will never be forgotten. The day I got married, I did the traditional walk down the isle. Judge Mary began the ceremony as anyone would have expected. But then, she invited the children up to stand with us. Judge Mary then spoke to each child- telling them how proud she was of each of their accomplishments (school, sports, manners, etc) and how important they are to the family. Each child brimmed with pride. It was a beautiful moment in time that I will never forget. For that extra- special touch... for your moment in time... for your first wedding or blended family wedding... Judge Mary is positively the best!
