When it comes to wedding officiants, there is Megan, then everybody else. She is in a class all her own. With all the weddings that we have worked together, I have yet to hear two ceremonies that sound alike. Since no two couples are the same, she will tailor your wedding ceremony in a way that makes it uniquely yours. Not only is her service superior to the rest, she’s also a lot of fun to work with, so as a DJ, I recommend her to all of our wedding clients.

Megan was our officiant for our elopement style eclipse wedding. This was a very non-traditional wedding and also my first, but I feel our experience will carry over into any style of wedding you’re planning. Megan stayed in contact and was easily accessible. We had a very thorough phone call/consult to discuss what we wanted in our short ceremony. She provided us some common options and helped us tailor things to better suit our needs. Megan was thrilled that our dogs were included in our ceremony and she made everyone (us, dogs, guests) feel relaxed and confident.

We had our wedding last Saturday (2.24.24) at Lake Affect Studios in Cleveland, OH and it was the best day of our lives. We originally did not hire Megan for our officiant but we had the pleasure of working with her after the unthinkable happened. The officiant that was supposed to marry us came down with a wicked case of the flu the day of and hired Megan to step in for her. I had nothing to worry about, Megan was communicating with me that morning and assured me that we would have a perfect ceremony and she wasn’t wrong. She gave us everything we wanted and more. She was wonderful to work with in a pinch and I will recommend her to everyone who is getting married. We have been having all of our guests tell us that our ceremony was hands down the most beautiful ceremony they ever witnessed. We loved working with Megan! We really didn’t have a vision of what we wanted for our wedding ceremony, but Megan gave us lots of suggestions of different readings and layouts and asked lots of questions to get to know us. She made the whole process so easy, answered our many questions quickly and thoroughly, and was very patient with us as we made some last minute changes. Everyone we spoke to was very impressed with the ceremony she put together and presented. Even some of our older relatives who didn’t seem to understand how we just “hired some random person off the internet” said she did a wonderful job!

Megan just married us on 10.20.23, and was absolutely wonderful! She made the process so easy, and answered all of our questions over the phone and at the rehearsal. She checked in on us through the whole thing, and the ceremony was exactly what we wanted! We got tons of compliments on her! She even stood up for us to a wedding "coordinator" that was being super difficult! She's great! Highly recommend!

My now wife and I flew up to Ohio to get eloped and our original officiant stood us up, the court ended up calling Megan to see if she was available and she went out of her way to make everything wonderful for us. She was avaliable very quickly and still managed to make our wedding ceremony unique to us. We ended up being thankful that the situation went the way it did because Meagan was perfect for us. I could go on and on in this review about how Megan goes over and beyond. She will meet with you and your significant other to make sure that you both are happy about what is being incorporated into your ceremony and that the words that are being said are meaningful to both of you to let others know maybe for example how you met and what love means to both of you. She can make some suggestions if you are stuck on something or need an idea. She will help you with your vows and make sure that they are printed on something nice and ready to go for your big day. It can be stressful the day of the rehearsal, especially if you have a larger bridal party but no need to fear! Megan is here! She will speak up and guide everyone to where they are supposed to be and go over the order of things so everyone knows what their part is. No matter if your wedding consists of a few people or many people she will make it happen! She truly is there for you and wants your day to be catered to love no matter what.

Megan did an amazing job officiating our daughter's wedding. She wrote something special about how we met as part of the ceremony. She made sure my husband who is wheelchair bound was able to stand during the ceremony and walk our daughter down the aisle with his prosthetic. She was patient with him being a bit slower. Megan made sure everything was organized from the vows, to the rings. the tree watering ceremony, and making sure the bridal party knew where to walk and when. We were so excited she was officiating the wedding and she did not disappoint. Thank you Megan for a wonderful ceremony and being a huge part of Billy & Brittany's special day!! All the touchs you did made it even more memorable.

Megan was such a godsend for our wedding! From our initial consultation, she was so thorough and organized, and she came with so many great ideas and inspirations from our past experiences that really helped us personalize our wedding ceremony beyond what we'd initially considered. Her courteous communication throughout the entire process helped us when we were stressed about planning, and I very specifically was so grateful for how prepared she was to run through our entire wedding ceremony at our rehearsal with our wedding party and families. Megan also really stepped up and helped with some last minute setting up leading up to the ceremony, which took such a burden off me and my husband, and I can't thank her enough for that. It speaks volumes to how wonderful she was throughout this entire process that I instantly trusted her help with important tasks when she asked what needed to be done. We got so many compliments on her services and on our wedding ceremony overall, and I know a huge part of those stem from Megan's planning throughout to really help our love shine. Megan was a pleasure to work with. She is very detailed and runs a tight ship. I was so impressed by Megan this past Saturday, I had to write a review! Im a Cleveland area wedding Photographer, and it was such a joy to work with Megan on Saturday. She is organized, and approachable, and really nice to work with during the hectic moments of before, during and after a wedding. Megan takes charge of the ceremony with kindness, positivity and upbeat energy. Her ceremony was lovely, meaningful and creative. Megan made sure the guests were welcomed and felt like a purposeful part of the ceremony. I noticed many guests drawn in by her energy, and they were actively engaged in the ceremony . Megan thoughtfully steps aside during the vows and first kiss! This is a huge win for photographers! She pulled me aside before the ceremony and went over all the key parts for me. I knew ahead of time when the key moments and photographing events were going to happen. This is huge! Megan understands that it takes a team of vendors to seamlessly work together to make the ceremony meaningful and visually beautiful in photos for the couple. Megan was wonderful to work with on our secret wedding! Because of the nature of our big day being a secret, our location was changed thrice. Megan was happy to roll with the punches and made sure to be there for us. She managed to make us a beautiful, personal speech for the ceremony and had our vows printed on card stock and ready to go. Megan was phenomenal! She was thorough with writing our ceremony how we wanted it, she was flexible, and always responded to my questions and needs even if it wasn't necessarily a question about her service. She made last minute adjustments and was very pleasant and happy through it all. She has a loud and confident speaking voice which is great for the ceremony for everyone to hear. I plan to never get married again obviously, but I would have her back again if I needed to! Hands down recommend 100%!

Megan is such a kind, friendly person! You can tell she’s passionate about weddings, and is extremely professional. If you don't like reading long reviews, here's my advice - CHOOSE MEGAN FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY RIGHT NOW! Words truly cannot express how much we ADORE Megan - and I don't say that just to be cheesy. My husband and I come from different Christian backgrounds and wanted our wedding ceremony to be unique to us and our relationship, while still honoring our family's faith. We didn't want a cookie-cutter type of ceremony that you see at every single wedding. When we first met with Megan to see if she was a good fit for us, she was able to piece together all of our ideas into a ceremony that truly reflected us as a couple. She even was able to give us some vendor recommendations, too! She really took the time in that meeting to get to know us as a couple, and it ended with us knowing without a doubt that we wanted Megan to be part of our day. In between that time and our actual wedding, Megan was EXCELLENT at communicating with us as we finalized details of location/timing/etc. Megan met with us again a few weeks before the wedding to not only go over final ceremony details, but to also make sure we as a couple were doing well leading up to the stressful weeks before our wedding. Megan truly cares about you not just as a client of hers, but as a lifelong marriage that she is bringing together. We received SO MANY COMPLIMENTS about Megan's words during our ceremony, and everyone just kept raving about how beautifully she officiated it - even from those who were initially upset that we weren't having a traditional church wedding. Megan goes above and beyond to make sure that you feel like the only two people in the world during your ceremony, and was so encouraging to us to make sure we took a moment to feel that together on our wedding day. Megan was friendly and great from the very beginning by responding quickly and setting up a call to get to know me and my fiancé better. She probably spent an hour on the phone with us before we even put a deposit down. Megan was helpful in determining what types of specific things we included in the ceremony and offered suggestions as we continued the conversation with her. My fiance and I had decided to elope. So we figured we'd just do a court house wedding. But none of court houses were a beautiful location by any means. Which is not exactly what you'd want to remember when you've found the love of your life. So we figured if we could just find a officiant then we could get married anywhere that we wanted. I searched on Google and Megan's reviews and website immediately stood out. I reached out and she responded immediately which for us was amazing, because maybe we didn't think about it being the time of year where everyone wants to get married or the fact it's probably the craziest wedding season of all, because of COVID-19. Megan asked if we had a photographer which I wanted pictures, but didn't even know where I wanted to start looking. She recommended three vendors to us that she had worked with before and with prices. It was that easy to pick one out. Seeing as we were up in the air about location she suggested we have the photographer pick. Which was the best advice. Our pictures came out beautiful. It certainly was, because of Megan that our day was beautiful and not stressful at all. Our ceremony was perfect. And in her talk focused on all the things that are important to us. Megan did a wonderfully job with our ceremony! Megan not only performed our wedding and assisted our wedding coordinator to make sure our day ran smoothly, but offered suggestions on vendors, venue, etc prior to our wedding. Megan did a fantastic job for our ceremony! We got married during COVID but did our reception and a vow renewal the year after. The whole process for the ceremony was much simpler the second time with Megan. She is very well prepared and made the ceremony fun for us!

Megan officiated our wedding within somewhat short notice. She was very helpful throughout our planning, and she was always available when we had questions. Our ceremony was exactly how we imagined. It was private and her "I do's" were very beautiful. If/when we decide to have a larger ceremony, I would love to hire Megan again to renew our vows.

Our original officiant who is a family friend became ill and was hospitalized less than 24 hours before our big day!! She contacted Megan to see if she was able to help us and SHE SAVED our day!! Megan married us 4/27/2019 and was amazing from the very start of our consult, my dumb questions, and our special day!!! She is sweet, funny, and amazing to work with. I highly recommend her!

Megan is such a wonderful soul and a great person to work with. I contacted her mid day and she responded she was out of town but happy to answer my questions. I booked her without meeting her face to face and it was the greatest thing I've done. We met and had a great conversation as if we were old friends and I love that she is open to making suggestions if your stuck in a "HELP I don't know what to say point." She works very hard to make sure your day is perfect, and even after your wedding she has remained a friend. I will go blue in the face recommending her. You will not be disappointed.

We are so grateful that we found Megan to be our officiant! From our first meeting all the way to the day of the wedding, she was so helpful and organized. I was able to go to her with any wedding-related questions and she would always get back to me so quickly. We are a pretty laid-back couple and did not want the ceremony to feel too stuffy or outdated - Megan did an awesome job of keeping the ceremony modern and engaging. Instead of writing our own vows, Megan helped us to develop "love statements" unique to our relationship, which was a nice personal touch. A big thanks to Megan for being a part of our big day! Megan is amazing! She will personalize your day exactly how you want it! She worked my wedding, and I have seen her officiate weddings I photographed, they are always unique to the couple! Megan is easy to work with and always kind.

Megan married us on 9/21/19 - which happens to be her wedding date as well! She was very easy to work with, she gave suggestions on reading, helped us with our vows towards the end. She made the ceremony as easy and flawless as she could. I give her over 5 stars if I could :)

Megan was amazing! She helped keep me calm during a slight fiasco of everyone going to the wrong chapel and she helped plan out the ceremony when it got delayed for everyone who was redirected. We had so many compliments on the words she spoke about marriage and love! She kept things lighthearted and fun, I’m SO happy I have her words on video forever for my husband and I to listen to when we need to remember what love is all about.
