Diana, we were blown away at the ease of the process. We had numerous meetings with the hotel to plan the wedding day, rehearsal and even a Welcome party for out of town guests the night before. Each time I remember leaving our meetings knowing that I was heard and Diana + other staff were right on the same page as me (or often, ahead of me!). Our wedding tasting included a wide array of dishes cooked to perfection from Chef Corey. We selected the Beef Short Ribs and Chicken Montrachet, with sides of grilled Mediterranean veggies and herb roasted potatoes. Wedding guests raved about these to us afterwards. The ballroom was the large, modern, sleek venue space I was hoping we would find to fit our style. The uplighting package was well worth it and added an extra flare to the look. Diana and hotel staff communicated with all of our vendors and were on hand the day of which made all of the difference. Handing over a packet of information to someone that hadn't been at all of our meetings and assisted with planning just wouldn't have been the same! The guest block of rooms was easily linked to our wedding website and the hotel kept me updated on the status of the block. We added rooms twice during the months before our wedding and it was very simple to do so. The suites especially are large, open and airy. Decor is modern and includes large windows which is perfect for makeup. The hotel even gave us a full length mirror for our separate suites. Marriott was the perfect venue for any couple that wants to have an ultra modern, large wedding with convenience to downtown Columbus. Diana could not have been a more caring, helpful and organized coordinator for our wedding and any future couple hosting their wedding at Marriott will be lucky they found her! Thanks Marriott!! every time I turned around there was someone to take care of me. When we got to our hotel room after the night was over, they had made a heart out of towels and left rose pedals on our bed. I have never met a group of nicer people and I wish I could do it all again! Thank you Marriott, I have memories to last a life time!
