n all the details while letting my daughter and her fiancé make the decisions. Lauren provided very professional support for the whole process. She helped us with all aspects of the event by 1) arranging accommodation of celiac/gluten, dairy, shellfish and nut allergies among the bridal party and guests, 2) helping with vendor selection & coordination, 3) providing suite and hotel room capacity for the bridal party and out-of-town guests, 4) putting together a rehearsal dinner for the bridal party at the Marriott’s restaurant,5) scheduling all activities and clearly communicating all aspects of the event to us 6) coordinating events for both days and 7) going the extra mile and staying for a late sparkler sendoff for the newlyweds to direct it and make sure it went smoothly. The rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception events were both quite impressive. Everything including the facility itself, the staff at the hotel, hors d'oeuvres, bar services and wedding dinner were excellent. The kitchen staff deserves a special thanks for their attention to detail in accommodating the allergy restrictions. We added an ice cream bar after the cake cutting and were glad to see how popular it was. As an aside, the convenience of the hotel and venue at the same location was definitely a bonus. We couldn’t have asked for a better planning experience with Lauren. She was always available and responded quickly and clearly to any questions or concerns. Most importantly, we were happy to see the weekend events go so well for our daughter’s wedding. We discussed the event the day after the wedding and could not think of anything we would have changed. We would highly recommend this experience.

Farewell brunch was just perfect. Beautiful display of fruits, pastries, yogurts, tea coffee and omlet station was just perfect and truly enjoyed by all. Very flexible with number of guests as many more came than RSVP. Excellent service day of and tremendous job by Lauren Pastorek , event and catering manager. So easy to work with and truly exceptional offering personalized experience from planning through the execution of all events. Great location! Highly recommend!

knowledge of the workings of the hotel and attention to details was impressive. We had 114 guests in the Ballroom and wanted an elegant and impressive event, and that is what we got. The table settings the flowers down to the way the napkins were folded and Lauren handled everything with a professional and eye for details. She worked with the florist, the DJ and our cake baker to coordinate delivery, placement and timing were perfect, and they were. We started with the cocktail hour in the foyer with passed hors d'oeuvres and were told by guests that they were hot and delicious. The wedding party had a separate room for the cocktail hour for relaxing and pictures which was suggested by Lauren to take advantage of and it was a great idea. A server was assigned to our room and Christine was great to work within providing the wedding party with hors d'oeuvres and drinks. We then were announced into the ballroom for the party to begin! We chose the Marriott for its location to our church and for out of town guests to be able stay at the same place as our event was. We would definitely recommend the venue for your upcoming wedding, you will not be disappointed!! My husband and I are both thankful to Lauren and the entire Marriott staff for providing us with the wedding we wanted! A great time was had by all!!!

The transition to the on-site team on the day was incredible to work with from flawless execution. It is hands down the best place to hold an Indian Wedding in Hartford!

During contracting, she was fair and really showed that she wanted to make it a favorable situation for both the Marriott and the couple. From there, she stayed on top of all of the vendors and offered walkthroughs/meetings whenever we requested. During the wedding weekend, the entire Marriott staff was accommodating and did everything needed to make it incredibly memorable. Our wedding would not have been as successful if it wasn't for Kristin. We are forever thankful and recommend any couple to choose the Marriott Hartford Downtown for their wedding needs.

el was a very convenient distance from our venue in West Hartford. The booking experience with Kristin and Shannon was also pretty seamless. I booked a King suite for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in; it was spacious and had perfect lighting for hair and makeup. It was such a gorgeous hotel with beautiful city views - I was so proud to have all of my guests staying in such a wonderful place. The valet staff was super friendly and allowed us to leave our car out front while we unloaded/loaded wedding materials. We had about 40 people there for breakfast the day after the wedding, and the staff was great in finding tables for everyone in the same vicinity. I wish I knew the name of the man who was working the desk - I think he was a manager. He was absolutely delightful and a saint. My mom was freaking out the day before the wedding due to stress, but he was so kind and sweet to me. I loved him! I would highly recommend booking a block of rooms here!

g reception in the ballroom, after party in the lobby bar, post wedding breakfast in a conference room, and all my guest were able to take elevators to their hotel room – very convenient! The day was perfect due to everyone at the Marriott, specifically the wedding coordinator, Kristin Zaharuk! She was so easy to work with, always available, gave great suggestions, and was beyond helpful every step of the way! I am still receiving compliments from family and friends about the 1st class service provided by the banquet staff and the amazing food - the filet was cooked to perfection! I can’t not put into words how happy I am that I selected the Marriott as my venue!

She allowed us to book certain rooms near each other for ease and even extended our cutoff date when a few guests were late in booking. The online booking system made it easy to track which guests had booked and how many rooms were still available. We held our rehearsal dinner, after party and post event brunch at the Marriott and the service, food and accommodations were excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a special weekend. Thank you!

of the way. Never did she make you feel rushed or bothered by the million quetions a bride comes up with... She faciliated everything and was on my side every step of the way! All my guests loved the wedding site and not only that, they upgraded me to teh Presidential Suite the day of and night of the wedding which made it easy for the girls to hang out during day getting all our hair/makeup done and the after party at night was awesome seeing it was so spacious! Thank you so much!!!
