The day was like a dream! From start to finish, every aspect of the day was perfect. Our ceremony was outside on the Garden Terrace and was set perfectly. The reception was in the Grand Ballroom and was absolutely stunning. Megan was fabulous in the planning an communicating all fo the details. Jamie, Kaylee and Ethan flawlessly executed every detail throughout the day and night. The food was delicious.... from the hors d'oeuvres to the entrees to the desserts...all wonderful!

Well if you are looking for the perfect venue to host your wedding then you have found it! The Marriott in South Sioux is a wonderful location for not only your wedding and reception but also for the rehearsal! Spoil your wedding party and guests as they can park and never have to leave the Marriott until the wedding experience is over. The Presidential Suite for getting ready is a dream come true for the gals. FANCY! Anne completely spoiled us with all her years of experience there making it so easy and fun to plan the event! It is completely updated venue and doesn’t need a lot of decoration because it is already so beautiful. Picture opportunities are never ending-inside and out! Also having a ceremony or a cocktail hour outside is the way to go to! The food was incredible and late night snacks are a must!! The servers and bar staff were so helpful in any change ups we had as we’ll ! The price is so reasonable too! You get the best bang for your buck here! Best place in Siouxland to have the perfect wedding! Let Anne and her awesome crew spoil you!

The team at the SSC Marriott did such a good job from start to finish! They made the process of prepping for our reception painless and as stress-free as possible. The food was good, the planning staff was incredibly kind and thorough, and the guests seemed to have a great experience with their rooms. Definitely recommend!

We held our wedding at the Marriott Riverfront, and right from the start; I knew I was in great hands! The staff was very responsive in a timely manner to all of the questions I had. Anne made the planning process go smoothly. Once I got to day of, I had no worries to stress as everything was perfect! Food was amazing!! Thank you for making my dream wedding come true!

From start to finish, the incredible team at the Marriott Riverfront in South Sioux City was accommodating, responsive and on top of all the little details involved with hosting a large wedding reception. It’s a beautiful venue and our guests took full advantage of the scenic, outdoor terrace during the social hour. The plated meal was delicious and the service was great. We even hosted a gift opening/breakfast the next morning in the Monterrey room overlooking the river. It was a perfect sendoff for our guests who had travelled and stayed at the hotel. Anne and her crew are professional, courteous, and truly exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this venue for any banquet, reception, wedding, etc. My daughter's wedding was held on the back lawn overlooking the river and the reception was held indoors. Beautiful venue and everyone was so helpful. If I needed anything, they were quick to get it done. Our guests, mostly from out of town, commented on how beautiful it was and how nice their motel rooms were. Top notch people, top notch service, top notch food. The only negative comment from our guests and us: We ordered a snack during the reception/dance to arrive around 9:00. It was put on an outside wall of the reception hall, which is OK, but there was no light whatsoever. People didn't know what they were getting. We ordered pretzels, which came with different toppings of honey mustard, cheese and cinnamon/sugar. People thought they were putting cheese on their pretzel, when in fact, it was honey mustard. Some not so happy people. Even though the DJ had the lights off, I wished they could have turned on one little section or had overhead lights on their serving cart. Overall, I give this venue a 5/5 stars!!

Went to my cousins wedding here and was blown away. This location is fantastic! So beautiful and well put together. The ceremony took place outside on a beautiful summer day, with the reception right on the side of the facility overlooking the river. There was a nice entrance directly outside so guests could venture outside to enjoy the beautiful night as well. The plated meal was great, as well as the accommodations. Besides the ease of being able to run to your room during the ceremony and not worry about transportation, the first floor is dog-friendly--perfect for us out-of-town guests. There is also a restaurant and two pools (one inside and one outside) which was fantastic. Great wedding and facility.

We had our ceremony at the Garden Terrace behind the Marina hotel. Gorgeous setting surrounded by trees and flowers overlooking the Missouri River. Also a pretty fountain- which we had the option of turning off, but didn't because we thought it was cool. What the Marina should've suggested is that we turn it off because it was so loud that no one could hear what was being said at the ceremony (we even had mics!). The fountain was too overbearing. Other than that small issue, I would recommend the Marina for an outdoor ceremony!

Being from Sioux City, I grew up knowing that my wedding reception would take place at The Marina. However many years later, my wish came through!! From the first email to the last, Anne and Jodi provide the most amazing customer service to answer all of your questions and needs!! They are professional, easy to reach, and willing to make your wedding day the most amazing day of your life!! I wouldn't have gone anywhere else!!
