to Colorado to not only plan (or REplan I should say) but while we were there we hired Marry Me In Colorado and eloped! For legal purposes we needed to get married this year and we didn't want to do a cheesy Vegas or courthouse wedding. Kevin was amazing, we were literally on top of the world and said our vows in such an emotional and romantic ceremony! Jason photographed the ceremony and a few romantics and he was so gracious and made us feel so comfortable! We have already hired Marry Me In Colorado to work with us again for our large wedding in 2021 but wanted to shout out to them for their professionalism and just an overall great experience!

cisions to make about various parts of the wedding. There were choices to make about the flowers, the cake and a very detailed list of what pictures you wanted the photographer to take. We checked what we wanted and then sent it back. This also included where the reception was going to be held and what time the cake should be delivered. Fast forward to two days before the wedding-Kevin called me and said that the bakery that they were using couldn't do the cake I picked out and asked me to pick a different option. Why would they list a cake and then use a baker that couldn't do it? OK so I picked another cake. Then, even though Kevin called us to remind us to allow for extra travel time, he was late himself. OK. Then the photographer didn't even look at the paper I filled out on the pictures I wanted taken so majority of them didn't get done. The photographer did ask us if there were any other pictures we wanted but I didn't know he hadn't taken any of the family while I was getting ready and my mind was going so fast, I couldn't remember what was on the list that I wanted. Why have us fill out this paper if nobody uses it? We ordered the wine box set and Kevin asked me if we wanted to provide our own wine. I said no-why would we buy a wine box set if the wine wasn't provided. So he said that they would pick something out but wasn't sure if it would be any good. When we got there on the wedding day, he said that he's not allowed to provide alcohol. Then the cake.....the bakery that they had the cake made at delivered the cake to the reception venue hours early. The reception venue won't take outside food if the people aren't there to receive it. Luckily, the venue made an exception but I go back to-why have us fill out these forms that asks us what time to have it delivered if nobody pays attention to it?
The last thing I'll cover is the photography prints. Our package came with some prints. When we got the CD of the photos (timely) we emailed them to tell them which prints we wanted. We did that on October 29, 2019. We never heard from them that they received our email so I reached out again on November 6th (communication wasn't always great and they struggled to reply to emails at times). They confirmed on November 7th that they got it and would get them ordered. They go through a 3rd party vendor and tell you that it can take 4-8 weeks so we didn't reach out again until January 6, 2020 asking about them. They never responded so I reached out again on January 27th. Again, they never responded. My husband took it over from there and called Kevin on February 5th. Kevin didn't know and had to ask Lorie. He said Lorie would return the call. She didn't so my husband called again a few days later. Lorie said that the vendor stated that they mailed out the pictures months prior so she had to get them re-ordered. I said all of that to say-things happen. HOWEVER, had they responded to any of our emails in JANUARY, this could've been resolved sooner. Our ceremony was in September, 2019 and we got our prints in March, 2020. Unacceptable.

It’s certainly nerve wracking planning a wedding, especially so far from home where you’re just entrusting strangers to understand your wants and needs via email and phone, but after meeting Kevin, Lorie, and Linnell, it was like reuniting with old friends. It was like they had known us for years and knew exactly what to put into the ceremony to make it very personal. The photos turned out terrific too. details before the wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park including the week of the wedding for reassurance that our photographer and flowers would be there on the day of our wedding. We were told by Kevin to be there early he promised the photographer would be there early and even mentioned 3:30pm in the last phone call with him (our wedding was at 4pm). We were at the entrance to Bear Lake at 3:30pm with our entire wedding party waiting in the cold until 4pm and no one showed to take our pictures or with our flowers we had purchased from them. At 4pm we went to the spot had our ceremony and it went quickly because it was bitter cold. At 4:15pm we were walking back to our cars and a female photographer with flowers approached us. I immediately told her the ceremony was over she offered to take photos at that point and I said no our wedding party was cold and headed to their cars. She gave me the flowers and left crying. 45 mins late from the promised time. We have since contacted Marry Me In Colorado on numerous occasions and have not after one month received any money back. We paid them $600 in advance and all we have received for the $600 is emails. There was also a $150 charge to marry in Rocky Mountain National Park charged by them and we walked right into the park and married without any kind of certificate they said we needed. Both my wife and I feel like we have not only been taken advantage of but disappointed our day has no photos like we had planned. I would not recommend Marry Me In Colorado to anyone getting married there.

nly concerns were that the flowers did not come in a waterproof vase (they were in green floral foam, but there was no way to keep that wet nor was it safe to put the arrangements on a wood table) and the photos were a bit off in the lighting. The flowers were beautiful as were the photos, just some tweaks needed. We only used Marry Me in Colorado for 2 arrangements and the photos but they sure seemed to have a very comprehensive set of products and services. Their shop in town is easy to access and has parking - it's a great place to go and see all of their products. Thank you Kevin, Lorie, and John.

We contacted Marry Me In Colorado, gave them our story and from then on it was just PERFECT!! I could not have expected more or even asked for more. having to go through the trouble of finding an officiant, flowers, cake, photographer etc. It's a one stop shop, about as stress free as you can get! The only things I didn't like was that I felt like the communication during the process was all one sided, I would have liked Kevin and Lorie to follow up more with me to touch base. And then, we never received champagne for our reception, so it looked a little weird to have custom made toasting flutes but nothing to put in them. :( But other than those things, I would recommend Marry Me in Colorado to prospective Brides and Grooms! Also, a shout out to John, our photographer, he was amazing! We are so very pleased with the pictures. I really felt like John was able to capture our special day and the love that we have for each other.

ay before my wedding, I was to be contacted but nobody contacted me. I ended up sending out an email at 10:00 at night, confirming the time/location. I recieved and email back from Kevin whom was very confused regarding my location.. Turns out he had my location incorrect. He informed me he had to put in a request for our location, trying to reassure me that there wouldn't be an issue (not something a bride should have to deal with the night before getting married). The next morning I received a call from Kevin, informing me that the request was denied and I had to choose a new location. Apparently another event was taking place there.. So the morning of my wedding, I had to rush around to find a new location (my husband and I were not very familiar with Colorado considering it was our first visit from Pennsylvania).. It was a good thing I ended up emailing Kevin the night before, to confirm my time/location or we would have been in two different places. And also that my husband and I did not invite anyone to our ceremony- how embarrassing would that have been. . Overall I highly would not recommend Marry Me In Colorado. They are very unorganized and unprofessional. Explore your other options!

wedding and that was after leaving multiple messages, voicemail and email. My coordinator finally had to harass them to get an invoice. The invoice was sent and was over double what we had agreed upon. I was very clear about my budget from the beginning. We had to have a sit-down meeting the day before the wedding to hash things out. Day of the wedding the colors of the flowers were wrong, the wrapping on the bouquets were wrong and the vases were covered in fingerprints. My coordinator had to run around wiping them off before our guests got there because they were apparently so bad. This is the first poor review I've ever written and it's too bad. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone because the lack of professionalism really added a lot of undue stress to the wedding week.

We live in another state, and part of the appeal of having a destination wedding was not having the stress of organizing everything. On the other hand, I’m a bit of a control freak, so it was hard for me to let go and trust someone else to handle the details of my big day. But I did. I sat back and relaxed and let them do their jobs, and everything was perfect! They made it look so easy, and were prepared for anything. My flowers were beautiful, Lorie had extra straight pins for my handkerchief, her photography was exquisite, she tied up my bustle, tucked my veil when it got windy… she went above and beyond what I expected. She was my fairy godmother of the day! Our venue wedding coordinator (who shall remain nameless) did not have her stuff together, and if we were relying on her alone, our wedding could have been a disaster. But fortunately, Kevin and Lorie came through like superheroes. They provided a backup speaker system at the last minute, and worked out several bumps in the road that I wasn’t even aware of until afterwards. They are true professionals, and handled everything with grace, never missing a beat. They make you feel like the most important person in the world that day, and will do anything to make sure your dream wedding is absolutely perfect.
