ing planning process went on, we quickly became disappointed by the lack of communication and follow through we received. We hired Tanya for partial wedding planning which should have included 10 hours of pre planning, assistance with contacting/communicating with vendors, tent layout/ timeline, and seating chart. In reality we received maybe 3-4 pre planning hours and no support with the other items listed above and took care of the other tasks on our own. What was even more frustrating was the lack of communication. Tanya set up phone calls, and then would not call. She would not respond to texts for days or sometimes weeks at a time. She offered to send over photos of decor she had available during a pre planning meeting, however did not follow through on this. During a meeting with our venue, she mentioned that she would be reaching out to our vendors to discuss their day of timelines, arrival, needs, etc. upon speaking with our vendors - she did not contact any of them independently. She mentioned at several points that she had more weddings around the time of our date than she typically does which we believe led her to dropping the ball with us. On the day of the wedding, Tanya was supportive and helpful with day of coordination and was able to help us pull off our ceremony and reception with my mothers help despite all the challenges we faced. Overall, we truly believe that Tanya was capable in her day of coordination duties but significantly let us down with preplanning and left us feeling on our own and confused more often than supported. We hope this review will help others avoid the same issues we faced!
