Kahu Brutus was absolutely incredible, and we truly could not have asked for a more perfect officiant for our wedding in Hawaii. He created such a beautiful, meaningful...
ceremony that felt incredibly special to us while thoughtfully incorporating Hawaiian cultural elements and traditions.
Our ceremony ended up being one of our favorite parts of the entire wedding day. It was heartfelt, unique, and so beautifully done. We had so many of our guests come up to us afterward to tell us how much they loved the ceremony and how beautiful and memorable it was.
Kahu Brutus has such a wonderful presence and made the entire experience feel genuine and personal. We are so grateful that he was the one who married us and helped make such an important moment in our lives even more meaningful. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him and would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone getting married in Hawaii!

Kahu Brutus is one of the best officiants you can hire in Hawai’i. Our guests raved about how beautiful he spoke and conducted the ceremony w/ traditional Native Hawaiian element...
s. As a Native Hawaiian myself, my ‘ohana was most grateful that I incorporated those elements in my wedding ceremony. My (now) husband’s guests were unaware of the traditional Native Hawaiian elements and what they entailed, but Kahu Brutus did an AMAZING JOB explaining and educating our guests. He also added personal elements of my family and of our relationship into the ceremony. He also cracked some nice jokes throughout, which we absolutely loved. AND he pronounced my (now) husband’s name correctly! YAY!
Kelehua was the officiant for my aunt's wedding in 2021. We were visiting from the mainland and had no previous thoughts of having a wedding in Hawaii. It all changed after that ce...
remony.
Kelehua is truly the best at what she does. My husband and I both hate being in the spotlight, but she did a great job making us feel comfortable. Her presence was so calming before, during, and after the wedding ceremony. The ceremony itself was so beautiful and we are so happy we chose her to officiate our wedding.
I would highly recommend booking with her. If I could do it again, I would definitely be choosing her again.
Look no further! You have found the right wedding officiant company!
Loren (owner of MYIH) made the whole process seamless from start to finish. Emails, phone calls, setting up me...
etings, payments, the beach permit, you name it.. she took care of it! She also took the time to get to know us and suggested which officiant would be a good match for us on our wedding date. She touched base with us throughout the planning process and always had the kindest well wishes, she truly loves what she does.
Kelehua was our officiant and man are you in for a treat! All our guests said it was the most amazing ceremony they’ve ever been too. It wasn’t just a wedding ceremony it was an experience! Kelehua was amazing, people describe her as a ‘warm hug” and we couldn’t agree more. She is simply the best. A true Hawaiian wedding experience. You can’t go wrong with booking MYIH!
Brutus officiated our destination wedding in Hawaii and it could not have been more perfect. His words were sweet and kind. The different elements of the ceremony were so special. ...
I could not have imagined a better ceremony.
Kahu Brutus truly made our ceremony so special. What we particularly loved about having Kahu Brutus officiate was the relaxed yet ceremonious nature of the wedding ceremony. Our gu...
ests fell in love with Kahu Brutus with many saying it's the best wedding ceremony they have ever attended. I could go on and on but please don't hesitate to book Kahu Brutus for the Hawaiian wedding ceremony of your dreams.
We got married in Ko Olina in October and we wanted a light and meaningful ceremony. Maila graciously met with us while we were visiting Oahu, months ahead of the wedding. We didn'...
t have any specific requests (religious or cultural traditions) but she asked questions to get a feel for what we wanted and didn't want. We trusted her professionalism and knew her friendly, easy-going attitude would align with our needs. As we expected, Maila is an amazing performer and she delivered a beautifully written ceremony that exceeded my expectations. Many of our guests commented on how amazing she was and I could not agree more. On another note, that I feel people fail to mention about their officiants is their attire. She obviously has great taste and understood the assignment because she chose an amazing cream skirt suit which matched the aesthetic of the venue perfectly. It was very us and I couldn’t be happier. No one typically mentions the ceremony as one of the best parts of the wedding but she changed the experience for many. We would highly recommend MYIH, especially Maila!
Brutus la Benz was our officiant at our small 2 person intimate wedding. We wanted a simple Hawaiian ceremony at a beach. My husband and I really did not know what to expect (even ...
after reading up on it). Brutus walked us through each step of the process and made us feel very comfortable. The event itself was wonderful and memorable but as my husband said, he made it so much better.
We are having a larger wedding for the family next year and we may not be able to get him due to an event conflict. My husband was crushed when he heard that..... (that should tell you how much of an impact Brutus' ceremony had on us).
We love him and we very highly recommend him. Loren the coordinate for Marry You in Hawaii was awesome to deal with. She is very lovely and reassuring and helped me with everything.
Thank you Brutus and Loren!
