Rick the owner of Marshal Studios did an excellent job photographing our wedding. He took photos at our home, the church and at our wedding reception. Rick took many beautiful photos of us. He is very polite, professional and is not intrusive when taking our photos. He suggested different poses and pictures which really captured our wedding day. The photos he took are beautiful and definitely what we wanted . We would highly recommend Rick to photograph any event.

Rick, Tiffany and the entire team was AMAZING to work with! They knew our venue well and really helped us get such great pictures. They were professional and efficient throughout the entire wedding day. We are so excited to see our pictures and video and cannot recommend them enough!

We had photography services with Rick for our wedding and we loved our photos! He was extremely professional, set up a meeting before the event to go over exactly what we wanted and he delivered! We had a very narrow window of time (~45 min) for outside photos since our wedding reception was in November, but he was super efficient in capturing many photos outside using great backgrounds. We were thrilled with out photos and appreciate his attentiveness to our wishes and his efficiency!

I highly recommend Marsal Studios for you wedding photography and videography. Rick and Virginia were amazing to work with. We had so much fun doing our engagement photo shoot. Then when it came to the wedding they were great Virginia and her assistant were with me (bride) and Rick was with the Groom while we got ready. Then to our first look and bridal pictures which we had a blast with especially with Rick flying his drone! During our wedding ceremony and reception I feel like I never saw them taking pictures or videos. They got amazing pictures and video footage of our entire day from start to finish! We had a very positive experience with Marsal Studios. They took the time to meet with us beforehand where we discussed exactly what we were looking for. Rick and Virginia were very friendly and up-front. On wedding day, Virginia was with me and my bridesmaids all morning, snapping photos and making conversation. Marsal Studios did the MOST AMAZING job as our photographers at our Wedding. Not only did all of the pictures look fabulous but during the day their team was very helpful and insightful regarding best spots/poses, etc. They even helped the groom tie his bow tie. Virginia, Rick, and their assistant were great photographers from the very start. Virginia is so bubbly and quick to respond. Our engagement photos were amazing! She was very personable during the wedding and shared many stories with us. Our pictures were natural and not over edited, we got them back about 2 weeks after the wedding. Our video took around 2 months and captured all of the most important moments from our special day. There was drone footage which was an awesome addition! We recommend Marsal Studios.

Virginia and Rick were amazing! We are thrilled with how the video AND pictures turned out. They truly captured the essence of the wedding and are very experienced at what they do. Anyone who does not use this dynamic duo is missing out! I would use them again if I could do it all over!

Our wedding was small and intimate, 17 people, including the myself and the groom. It was important for us to have the little moments captured and to have something small, look grand. Virginia and Rick could not have accomplished this better for us! They were truly dedicated from the minute they showed up helping the bridal party shuffle around, to jumping into fountains to get just the right shot, to staying later than planned to capture a special last dance (providing the key spotlight and all!) We're grateful for their team and the major role they played in not only being our photographers but very welcomed guests!

Virginia and Rick are awesome. During the Covid pandemic, they were able to change our venue and arrange my parents to be at our wedding virtually. Great creativity with pictures and great personalities. I would recommend them for anyone who wants a personal experience and great photos. We had a great experience with Virginia and her team. Virginia is super responsive, very professional and has fantastic ideas on how to make your wedding memories special and unique both in terms of photography and in general. For example, we wanted to add a unique touch to our ceremony, and Virginia suggested we do a sand ceremony - it turned out awesome! Our engagement session photos were amazing and really captured how me and my husband act together naturally - we were so happy with them. Virginia was a pleasure to work with throughout not only mine but my sister, and two cousins weddings! She is very fairly priced and went above and beyond her call of duty, doing engagement photos for all of us, spending the entire day taking breathtaking shots of all the weddings! Virginia was so friendly and easy to talk to the first time my fiancé (now husband!) and I met with her at her studio and answered all of our questions. Her and Rick were great to work with. They came up to the venue with us to take a look at the place to get a feel for photo opportunities. The day of the wedding Virginia was with me and the bridesmaids and in addition to taking pictures of us getting ready she even took the time to help the bridesmaids tie their convertible-type dresses that they were having trouble with. During the group pictures Virginia and Rick did a great job posing our large wedding party and getting many pictures in a short time frame. Virginia and Rick were so great on our day. They were welcoming of all of my requests for specific photos, and showed a great eye for good shots. There were so many great little moments captured. Virginia, whom we dealt most with, is so warm and friendly, it is a pleasure to work with her. There were so many photos, and they provide them on a lovely little USB drive. Virginia came to my wedding day preparations, and another photographer went to my husband's, and they were both great at getting photos without adding any stress to the day. Virginia especially fit into the morning really well, talked to everyone without drawing too much attention away from what we needed to get done. She also gave me a handy tip for trying not to cry (happy tears, of course!) all the way down the aisle and ruin my makeup. When Virginia complimented things, I felt like it was genuine, and she was really good dealing with all my other vendors (makeup, venue, DJ). We couldn't be happier with our choice.

I used Virginia and a second photographer for my wedding in Old Saybrook in August 2019. Virginia is very sweet and takes the time to get to know the couple. My husband hates smiling in photos but somehow she managed to get some great smiles out of him! Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I did not feel "under the microscope" photography-wise at the wedding, which was a huge plus for me.

They were videographers for my daughters wedding and they were fantastic. From early on, they met with my daughter and her fiancé and talked about what they wanted. We didn’t even know they were there videoing because they were so unobtrusive. But when we saw the result we were thrilled. The short teaser video was just brilliant, we couldn’t believe how Rick edited it to capture the highlights and emotion of the day. We were just blown away. All throughout our relationship with them they were responsive and professional. They did what they promised to and did it superbly. If I had any more weddings to plan I would use them again without question.

Virginia and Robert were our photographer and videographer although we really liked them as people (very nice) we were a bit sadden with our final pictures and video. They had many errors when it came to positioning of the camera for certain photos, other photos lacked basic editing. Our video was nice but would have loved for it to be visually clearer. Don’t get me wrong there were some nice pictures but I wish there were more that I loved.

We are so glad that we decided to have Marsal Studios capture our wedding day. Virginia and Rick are both outstanding and talented with their photography and videography. The moment we met them we knew we would pick them right away. Our engagement photo session allowed them to get a feel of the type of couple we were and let us get to know them better as well. We used Virginia and Rick for our photos and videography! We met them at a Wedding Showcase and immediately knew they were the ones we wanted. They were warm and welcoming right from the start. Our pictures are amazing. The first time I looked through the proofs, I cried like a baby! One of the best things is when you book them, you book them for the day. Unlike other vendors, they don't give you a limit. My husband and his groomsmen/friends went golfing the morning of the wedding while the ladies got ready. Virginia and Rick split up, so there would be a photographer with both of us all morning. Rick drove from Wolcott where golfing was, to Farmington where the wedding was. Their assistant Angie was also amazing. Our video edits captured everything we had hoped and more. Not only does Rick do a highlight video, but you also get full ceremony and reception video. Everything they did was perfect and truly brought tears to our eyes. We used the open Photo Booth with from them too. Everyone's pics came out awesome! Marsal goes the extra mile. They knew the groom was in a band and they included Rock themed props at our Photo Booth. I highly recommend this team. THANK YOU for everything!

Rick and Virginia are amazing! From the Engagement photos to the wedding video, nothing was shy of perfect! My husband isn’t very big on taking photos so I was hesitant seeing our engagement pictures. Needless to say they were amazing! Rick did a great job making him feel comfortable and the pictures came out awesome. We got our wedding pictures back very fast and I knew they would come out just perfect and they did. The wedding video was stellar! Definitely worth getting in the package! Great duo & great work!

My husband and I worked with Marsal Studios for our wedding in July. They met with us several times before the wedding to ensure they gave us exactly what we wanted. They also met with us afterwards to ensure our book is exactly what we want. They are very professional, friendly, and absolutely lovely to work with. We added a few things late (video for example as 3 months before the wedding my mom was diagnosed with cancer and we hoped she'd be there, but weren't sure how she'd be feeling...she came and even danced)! But this late addition to add video was added with ease and comfort. They are very responsive and it is obvious how much they care about each person and each event they do. I highly recommend them!!

Absolutely incredible! Virginia and her husband Rick are a true team. It's even more special that they are a husband and wife duo! They made our special wedding day better than we could have imagined. They were there the entire day...from 9am...until the moment the wedding ended at 11pm...no questions asked! They also had an assistant to ensure they were able to capture as much as possible. My wife and I could not recommend a better team for your wedding...or any other event! Best photographers you can ask for for any occasion! I saw Marsal Studios at a wedding expo at the casino and as soon as I saw Virginia & Ricks work, my mother-n-law said to me "I think you just found your photographer". They are absolutely amazing and make you feel like your part of the family. No one can go wrong choosing them for their special event!
