I had to trust what she said because she did not give sketches or floral specifics until very late in the process, but after visiting her St. Paul shop and exploring her social media photographs, I knew we were in good hands. I was not particularly picky about floral needs since our venue was outdoors and already had a robust floral landscape. Martha streered us in a preliminary direction that fit our budget and complemented the already beautiful landscape at Stout's Island. Martha is personally very kind and charming and she takes her work very seriously. Communication is not a strong suit of the business, however, and I found it stressful that final details did not fall into place until less than a week before the wedding (which, you know or will soon know, is the absolute worst time to be making final decisions about large ticket items such as flowers). The result of this was that our final floral proposal ended up almost $2000 over our initial budget, and my best person's boutonniere was missing from the final delivery (his boutonniere was included in the preliminary conversations, but since each conversation felt a bit like starting over, it was left off of the final count). This was a big disappointment, which we were lucky to make work by swapping some things around. The final result was magnificent: our ceremonial Chuppah was simple and gorgeous, the corsages and boutonnieres were like none I had ever seen before, and the reception tent was elegant, like out of a bridal catalogue. She kept it simple, as I requested, and in the end, we were only ~$500 over our initial budget, which is to be expected in the wedding industry, I have been told. Our floral experience with Martha's Gardens was an absolute 5/5. I gave a final review of 3.5/5 stars because the lack of communication was a stress point for me. I didn't appreciate how things came together so late, nor how the result of that was the oversight of a fairly important component of the initial order (my brother's boutonniere). In the end, Martha is one of the absolute best in the bizz, but I wish I had known what to expect before starting the process.

cannot tell you how many people came up to me on my wedding day to tell me how amazing the flowers were. People are still taking about the flowers to me many weeks later. Martha is so nice and amazing at what she does and highly recommend her if you want absolutely stunning wedding flowers. When reaching out to multiple florists at the beginning of wedding plan she was the one who fully understood my "vision" and not only did she execute it perfectly, she blew my expectations out of the water and made it even better than I could have ever imagined! Thank you so much Martha, I am eternally grateful!

She provided extra glass votives to complete the look. Her "pick up team", Tom and his son, were also lovely at the end of the night. Highly, highly, recommend!

The flowers looked great, and were perfectly in line with the photos I had shown her. She also quoted us at less than other florists we talked to. Upon speaking with Martha myself over the phone and later during a visit to the Twin Cities, I knew my wedding day flowers were in excellent hands. Martha and her team created beautiful custom designs for my wedding ceremony, reception, and party members based on a color palette I had in mind and bloom types/textures that I like. Martha was also flexible about changes that were made months and weeks before the big day, and at no point tried to up-sell me or suggest pieces that I did not want or need. She really listened to what I requested and then created true pieces of art for all to enjoy. Could not have been happier with the quality of the pieces when I arrived at my wedding venue. They were so beautiful and unique! My husband recognized that Martha used hops as part of our head table runner - something I would never have thought of. Our guests and family gave glowing comments about our floral arrangements. We decided to have the team drop off, setup and break down for our event and it made the entire day so much easier. They were professional and made every effort to make my venue look even more beautiful. The work produced by Martha and her team is both affordable and stunning. Would HIGHLY recommend collaborating with her to any brides in search of a great florist in the Twin Cities!

We had a friend pick up our flowers since our wedding was out of town; she gave us a call ahead of time to make sure she had our order right (which was a great idea since we did have a big misunderstanding) and packaged all the flowers so they were suitable for transportation. We are giving her four stars out of five because of some slight difficulties with communication and appointment times. Our flower arrangements turned out better than we could have ever imagined and we are so thankful!

She did an amazingly beautiful sunflower backdrop for our ceremony, all the centerpieces and votives, all bridal bouquets, a head table runner, and various other decorations. All of them were incredible and there is nobody else I would have trusted to bring my picky flower dreams come to life. If you hire Martha, you'll know that the whole day will be so easy for you. She and her team will come set up, and tear down, and you can rent a whole array of other decorations from her shop as well. She is the nicest, most supportive person I have ever worked with.

Our bouquets, the reception tables, the arch she built at the church (WHICH WAS AMAZING) was all perfect and beyond what I could have ever tried to choose myself. She knew it was important to me to have peonies in my bouquet. Even though it was difficult to get them for a December wedding, she made it happen. If you work with Martha you are getting a vendor that is so unbelievably passionate about what she does. She will make sure everything is perfect!

Even though I had a winter wedding, I absolutely adore peonies (which were not in season) but Martha was able to sneak in some white peonies into my bouquet whereas no other vendor was able to do so. She's also the sweetest person to work with, I really enjoyed all my meetings and calls with her. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

park. I originally was just going to have personal floral (wedding party, parents, grandparents), but decided later on to include tall and low centerpieces. I'm so glad I did. The flowers were absolutely stunning and we received endless compliments from guests. The candlelight paired with the flowers made our reception beautiful and exactly what I had hoped for. I had contacted quite a few florists before deciding on Martha's Gardens due to their customer service. I had such a positive experience during the consultation (they wrapped a flower for me to take home!) that I knew I had to book them. They handled any changes we requested with ease, Karin walked through everything with me when I simply stopped in to pay the rest of the balance (I so appreciated that), called me the day before the wedding to assure me everything was set and to wish us well, and included a lovely note upon delivery of everything to our hotel. My bouquet had the sweetest 'happily ever after' ribbon wrapped around it. Those little touches are what stand out to me and what I'll remember most.

Martha and her team were able to create an outstanding display of flowers and greens despite my indecisiveness. I gave her little to work with and she really blew me away. We hired them to do flowers for everything for the wedding including arrangements, bouquet, the wedding arch, flowers for my hair, flowers for the cake, corsages, and boutonnieres. She also created the most beautiful wand for our flower girl. She is extremely talented and I felt like she read my mind. She was even able to recommend a linen company that was also excellent. In fact, the other vendors I worked with (wedding venue, cake company, musician) all had wonderful things to say about her and her staff and the beautiful work that they do. Not to mention she is just an extremely pleasant person! I joked that I wanted to quit my job as an RN to work with her. My guests were very impressed with how beautiful the flowers were. I very highly recommend this company, and am grateful we hired them for our special day!

She understood our vision, and without using any flowers (only herbs, greens and berries) she was able to create the most beautiful, natural space that enchanted all of our guests. My family, husband, and I would all highly recommend her for any big event and will continue to use her for future arrangements we need!

e wasn't a typical storefront for everyday flowers. She seemed to specialize in events. When we made an appointment to meet with her, we got a quick greeting and then she excused herself and sent us to meet with her assistant Alicia. Alicia gave stock-robotic answers like she had practiced for a call center. She never really heard what we wanted. She did take notes and then we were on our way out. When we got the estimate, it seemed quite outrageous and none of the details in it were correct. We were having a winter wedding and just wanted a lot of pine branches and hardly any flowers - this is MN, pine is not in short supply. After trying to contact martha on multiple occassions (and only getting her assistant asking if we'd sent the downpayment), we finally got through to her when we said we were thinking of going elsewhere. That got her at least on the phone where I had to run through what we wanted AGAIN. She sent another quote but none of the original, wrong details had changed. So as a last resort and coming up on the wedding date we got my parents involved. She said she could meet with us in person. I thought that was it and everything would be resolved. She created an example for us in the store that was pretty spot on. Then the day of the wedding, everything was wrong, everything was skimpy and some stuff she said was going to be there just wasn't. She also said she'd be the one to set up in person to ensure everything was correct. She was not there, only the assistant and some other help. Everything looked like an incorrect, poor-man's version of what we had decided on in the 2nd meeting. I would never recommend Martha's Gardens. If I could go back and choose a different florist, I ABSOLUTELY would. She may have a good eye for creativity, but her execution, service, business acumen, choice in assistant is completely lacking. Don't Use Her!
