Martine's Pastries

ped by their store to grab more to take home). Reasonably priced with great work. I would absolutely choose them again.

We went to Martine’s to do our cake tasting and everyone that helped us was so nice and accommodating. We chose 6 flavors of cake to try. I wasn’t even wanting to take that first bite but I’m so glad that I did! The cake tasted fantastic and the icing was light and fluffy and not too sweet. I surprised myself by eating all 6 samples, icing and all! The pistachio cake was our favorite and we got a slice to take home when we went back to pay off our balance. We’ve almost been married a month now and people are still raving and asking about our wedding cake! Martine’s is delicious and affordable and true artists! We highly recommend them and want to go get brunch at their cafe one day. If the desserts were that good, the other food must be as well!

y cake design. I would highly recommend!

e cakes and we got to try some of their delicious creations! Their cakes are both beautiful and delicious, if you do use them, you must try the pistachio cake. We had both a grooms cake and a wedding cake. They worked very well with our other vendors to make sure that the wedding day flowed seamlessly and everything was where it should be when it needed to be there. We couldn't recommend them highly enough!

uldn’t have imagined a better cake!

uldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary and visit! Thank you for making us the most perfect wedding cake!!

pistachio with French buttercream and apricot jam. Everyone loved the cake and had seconds! Unfortunately:fortunately the catering staff at our venue cut the pieces really small so we had a ton leftover after our small wedding. We vacuum sealed chunks and have thawed them out for special occasions since our wedding day, and we still have more to enjoy in the future! Martine’s staff members are all so friendly! They delivered more than we expected!! Highly recommend!

great job in accordance to what you want for appearance.

eous without fondant so everything both looks and tastes amazing. Our guests couldn’t stop complementing us on the cake.

in some flavors that I knew they had just didn’t have in front of us. They were kind enough to schedule a second tasting so I could try the extra flavors. I went with pistachio, bourbon with Nutella filling, and champagne with raspberry filling. Not a single crumb was left after the wedding!

ty to try the various flavors before the tasting as they are typically produced. At the tasting, Chelsea did an excellent job steering us in the right direction regarding the cake design. We were able to try one additional flavor at the tasting and loved it so much we chose it for our second layer. The Pistachio, Strawberry, and Carrot were a hit. There were only three pieces of cake left over at the end of the night. Martine assembled the cake on site and it was beautiful. Everyone was very impressed. I strongly recommend Martine's Pastries for wedding cakes and any other of your bakery needs.

mpletely us. They took the vision in my head, and did some magic to make it come to reality.

ne’s was also super patient with me throughout the consultation process. The cake was beautiful!

orth the extra money! Very Professional, and best tasting cakes.

h we never would have guessed would have been our favorite flavor beforehand!) and champagne/strawberry, both very good. The did a wonderful job setting everything up and made everything so easy and stress-free for us. Thanks for everything, Martine’s! Can’t recommend you all enough :)

ious and warm, and a total delight, much like her cakes. So thankful I went with her!

asted in my life!

e the picture! Amazing definitely order from them

them a couple months before the wedding with the crazy/risky idea of having the cake sit on a chandelier, while suspended from the ceiling. Martine and her team were immediately on board with this vision! We discussed the logistics of the plan and what they needed a couple of times to ensure everything would work out, and it was so worth it! The cake also tasted absolutely amazing, which was important to me because cake is one of my favorite foods! :) I highly recommend working the Martine and her team and wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again! Her work is spectacular, and she is a joy to work with!

g decorators on staff to help your dream cake come to life. They were willing to make a square cake and let us borrow a square cake stand. I would definitely say that if food quality is high on your priority list, then Martine's is one of the best options in the Lexington area.

d and creative, but she is very accommodating & a joy to work with! Our wedding cake and the assorted desserts she made for our guests (macaroons, lemon tarts, and chocolate/heath bars) were almost too beautiful to eat, and were extremely delicious at the same time!

rful pistachio cake served at our brunch wedding reception. Planning this wedding from Ohio, we also very much appreciated Chelsea's timely and informative e-mails. Martine and her staff are a delight to work with and we recommend their work highly.

absolutely recommend Martine.

lace effect that I wanted on the cake and they were more than happy to play around with the mold to see if it was something they could do. The end result was breathtaking! And the cake was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the pistachio! I tasted it at a wedding show and that's what got me hooked!

st heavenly.

nd we are still getting compliments on how cool it was! To cut down on cost, she let us provide the topper--I thought that offer was neat. Wonderful to work with, and Martine's Pastries takes care of all delivery, plus they had the top layer boxed for us with directions on how to store it properly.

as wonderful to work with - from the planning to execution. My wedding cake was not only beautiful, it tasted so good. I chose to serve fondant over buttercream icing with a champagne flavored cake. I loved and my husband loved it. Our guests were so impressed. Martine's Pastries did not disappoint. It was actually what I envisioned for my wedding day.

g cake with pistachio flavored cake, and a yellow butter with lemon filling cake covered in buttercream frosting. The groom's cake was bourbon chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. I brought her a picture of a maker's mark design for the groom's cake and she created it perfectly! Martine is a true pastry genius. Highly recommend!

asted! Our guests went through all 3 tiers in no time and they enjoyed every bite! With our reception being outdoors in the middle of summer, I was very pleased that the cake stayed together in such hot weather. My husband and I regret not having someone save us a piece, since the only bite we had was smeared all over our faces. But we're excited to have our pistachio flavored topper on our first anniversary! Yum!!

was moist and the icing was delicious. Her pistachio flavored cake with white chocolate mousse filling was our favorite, with the Kentucky bourbon cake flavor coming in a close second. Her pricing was extremely reasonable and she was very easy to work with. She created the perfect designs for our cakes from our phone conversations (we planned a destination wedding in Kentucky) and we were extremely pleased with the outcome. We definitely recommend her cakes for any event!

d incredible (and of course I tasted all three flavors!). In addition to the fantastic finished product - Martine also made the designing and planning part fun and simple as well. I would highly recommend working with Martine's for wedding (and life!) dessert needs.

er and can't wait to have our top layer on our anniversary!

ld not believe that it was all icing. Martine was wonderful to work with, always available to chat about the theme of my cake and the grooms cake. The cake was so yummy and moist and her French buttercream icing that is hand made makes her cakes to die for.

, and it was delicious! Martine was very helpful with designing the groom's cake as well. I wanted something whimsical, but elegant. It came out perfect!

few shots of some groomscakes I liked and made the most creative cake out of it, Ryan looooved it, thank you Martine! We can't wait for next year to eat some anniversary cake, yum!! We would highly recommend Martine's pastries for anyone having a need for a cake or delicious dessert..... PS. The Macaroons are great too! Ryan and Jane Mosser
