Because we arrived on time and also even though the Detail you hired asked us to close early , we still stayed to clean up and help pack it in your family's vehicle and left following that as there was nothing for us to do, the bar was closed up and their was No trash bag there for us to pick any thing up off the tables.. I had two trash bags that were in my car that I used for all the garbage and boxes that were left and removed it from the premise, we left to go do a trash run..although as stated on my contract we do not take trash with us, but did so anyhow and drove to the nearest dumpster to dump it.. I apologize that you are getting this on your honey moon, I always send out a request 3 to 5 days after the event.. I would have imagined that you would of responded when you had returned, and not be checking emails during . To defend myself, when you initially called I had let you know that I was fully booked as of a year out for this particular date, and would accommodate you seeing it was a referral and did so. Your guests were so pleasant and all had a wonderful time.. So I am shocked at the fact of your comment saying everyone was treated badly .. Your husband came over several times to see if we needed anything..and how things were going - The can opener was on your shopping list I provided of things to have on hand.. If I would of known I would of brought one, although I did manage to open the cans with what I had. I let your husband know several times that everything was going really fast.. and I would be running out of certain things, and he said , that shouldn't be a bad thing, we have plenty of other stuff to offer them.. We went down to the end of everything with the exception of a few bottles.. and what we did have , we couldn't serve, because we ran out of ice. The ice that I offered to bring but you declined, was supposed to have been dropped off by noon and had been dropped off at 8:30 am in the hot sun and was half melted by the time we arrived at 12:30 ( an hour an half before the cocktail service at 2) We typically only arrive an hour before , but I came an hour and half earlier and didn't charge for that . The guest who wanted the special drink , had Celiac disease I actually new her.. and the choices we had did not accommodate her special dietary needs, she didn't even have a gluten free meal to accommodate her.. I felt bad and asked her bf later that night We ran out of beer pretty early on because per your shopping list i had stated based on cases of 24 and we got 12 packs which is A HUGE difference in numbers.. we were short 200 beers because of that.. For Glassware.. No where on the contract did it say I was bringing 150 cups, You stated you wanted special Fish bowls to be used. I actually brought a bag of 100 wine cups.. because I was not sure what you would have for cocktails , We used them all .. and I never charged you for them. I had also stated to you that I didn't have any coolers to provide because I had events that had requested them a year in advance, I stated that you should have 2 extra trash bins for us to have - one for garbage and 1 to store the ice to keep it from melting.. which was not provided either.. when we got there the ice was sitting in the HOT sun rather then under the shaded tent.. Things happen and sometimes your vision does not come through exactly as planned.. I brought a table , that I did not use, cuz there was two there already.. we brought everything I stated I would bring and I apologize about the slight noise during your ceremony.. the planner told me that JP didnt turn the mic on and thats why they couldn't hear you.. We definitely did not intend on being loud.. I apologize Also , you asked if you could drop off the liquor beforehand and have me deliver it .. and I stated we did not do that, fist off I do not own a truck and second by law I can not .. a DIY wedding is just that , we are not allowed by law to pick up or drop off.. we are a serve and pour service only. Im sorry you did not see the value of having us there.. and it would of really been professional of you to email me your concerns rather then put my review on BLAST for everyone to read.. You did not give us any ingcling that things had gone bad .. and I again am flabbergasted that you would even give me such a bad review. I not only gave you a $100 off I also gave you a discount.. This is very much a learning experience. I will only deal with clients who book in advance and not discount myself in the future.. As an outsider looking in, every one told us all day what a great job we did and felt bad that we were in the hot sun.. The grooms dad was extremely happy with our service and you and Tim seemed happy to the end.. It would of been nice to know at some point by the planner or someone that things weren't going well so we could have fixed it for you. Enjoy your honeymoon..
