Marty Leonard chapel was everything I’ve been dreaming about for our wedding! As someone who grew up in Fort Worth and loved driving past the chapel when I was younger, this was a dream come true! Charles and Diana were so helpful, responsive, and kind.
I knew I wanted to get married here ever since one of my bridesmaids got married here 13 years ago. It was thing we booked after becoming engaged. The chapel was so gorgeous we didn't need any additional decorations. Diana and her team are great to work with. They remember the details and wanted to make the day special. I highly recommend!
We loved having our wedding ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel! Simply put, it is beautiful inside and out, and the team there was so helpful from our first tour to our wedding day.
This venue speaks for itself! It's beautiful and required very minimal decorating. The staff, Diana, was quick to respond to all of our questions and Charles, made our reception and ceremony run smoothly! Thank you for making our big day dreams come true!
Marty Leonard Community Chapel is a gorgeous place to get married. This chapel will always hold a special place in our hearts as this is the place we got engaged and married! John had the idea to propose where we were going to get married and Marty Leonard was so great to work with. They helped keep the engagement a surprise and were helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid-19 and Marty Leonard was cooperative and understanding. I highly recommend this beautiful church!
Our ceremony was absolutely gorgeous and the gift the venue gave us was so incredibly thoughtful. They were great at answering all of our questions and making our day feel extra special.
They are the absolute best
What we loved most about this chapel, is that the landscape makes it feel like it is secluded in a forest, while also being conveniently close to downtown! The many windows and tall ceilings are beautiful and absolutely stunning. The chapel managers are very kind and offered us so much helpful advice. We had my cousin play the organ there and I am so glad that we did; it filled the entire space and sounded incredible. It was a perfect day and we are so glad that we got married here! Love, Cary and Zoe Register <3
My husband did an architecture project on Marty Leonard Community Chapel back in college. When we got engaged started looking for venues, this chapel was the first place he thought of. As soon as he showed it to me, I fell in love with this beautiful and majestic structure! During that first visit, we met Katherine, who proceeded to give us a ton of useful information. Soon after that, we met Charles and Diana, and all three were extremely helpful in getting us organized, figuring out what we wanted and needed, and guiding us through the whole wedding planning process. I don’t know what we would have done without this dream team! They really went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect wedding day!
As almost everyone knows, this place is stunning. We recently moved to Fort Worth so no one on either side of the family had seen the chapel before. It was a new experience for every guest and they were blown away!
We could not have chosen a better place for our wedding ceremony! Marty Leonard is a hidden gem, tucked away in an inconspicuous area just outside of downtown Fort Worth, TX. The chapel is absolutely amazing. The architecture is above and beyond any other chapels that you might find in the DFW area. The chapel needs very little by way of decoration, the beauty of the chapel is perfect on its own. The staff at MLCC were so responsive and helpful. Charles was always so very kind and went above and beyond for our rehearsal and day of the wedding. Our ceremony there will always hold a great spot in our hearts and we will be forever grateful to have found this spot for our best day ever.
I can not imagine a more gorgeous place to get married. When I first found this chapel I fell in love and am so glad that I was able to get married here. Moreover, they are so easy to work with. Charles was amazing and so helpful every time I would stop by to look at the chapel and was able to answer all of my questions and helped us set everything up. I felt so special on my day because of the staff and I loved every minute of being in this chapel. If your vision is to get married in a chapel, I would 100% recommend this place, not only because it is beautiful but also because everyone is a dream to work with.
This ceremony location was the dream wedding location! Every single guest told me the chapel was absolutely beautiful! I can not believe how great of a price it was to get married here. We had absolutely no decorations in the chapel because of how architecturally beautiful it was! I recommend this chapel to every bride getting married in DFW :)
Thank you,
Kiersten Jensen (Wells)
We felt very lucky to be able to have our wedding here! The chapel is very beautiful and doesn't really need any extra decorations. We received so many compliments about the place. The staff were extremely helpful and we feel our wedding was able to go so well in part thanks to them. They helped with technical difficulties, getting people to their places, and through them nearby Central Market knew not to play live music during our ceremony.
Wonderful! Such a beautiful chapel. All staff are very helpful, friendly, and informative. Highly recommend this chapel for your marriage. Minimal decor needed as this chapel has naturally beautiful architecture.
The place is absolutely beautiful. Lovely place to be married!
The chapel is just amazing! Love it! And the staffs here are really nice and helpful!
Definitely book this chapel! It's gorgeous and the staff (Katherine, Marilyn, and Charles) are top notch! One piece of advice is: make sure to get a photographer that has shot weddings at Marty Leonard before! The architecture is so unique and the sun comes through in all sorts of angles so some photographers aren't well versed in how to capture the true beauty of this place. ;)
My husband and I were married at this chapel a few days ago and it was perfect! Such a beautiful space and reasonable pricing. The employees were very helpful and made sure everything was how we wanted. We are so looking forward to seeing the photos!
This chapel is absolutely stunning! It's always beautiful no matter the time of day or weather because of all the windows, and it's an especially great choice if you aren't looking to create a complicated altar or aisle set up. The staff wasn't terribly polite or helpful, but overall we had a good experience and we're still getting compliments on how gorgeous everything looked.
I found this chapel looking for wedding photographers, and I was stunned. It's absolutely gorgeous - we didn't need to bring a single thing to decorate it. I was able to hold the time slot for a few days before I could go look in person, and I booked it on the spot. Katherine and Charles were so easy to work with.
The only drawback is that there isn't a ton of space to get ready, but they let you know and recommend getting ready elsewhere (home, hotel, salon) so you aren't caught off-guard. This actually worked out perfectly, since we wanted to take advantage of our time at the chapel taking pictures in the gorgeous architecture.
I cannot recommend this venue highly enough - go check it out!
The chapel is beautiful and we had no problems with anything. I was told from others that sometimes there are problems with music being played from the Central Market nearby, but we were married on a Sunday and did not encounter this issue. Friday and Saturday weddings may want to keep this in mind.
This chapel is a dream! So precious and gracious is a beautiful place to get married.
Marty Leonard Chapel was very helpful in returning my calls quickly and answering any and all my questions. The staff was very friendly and the grounds kept immaculate. It was a dream come true to have my wedding here, I'm so happy!
The staff at Marty Leonard Community Chapel was amazing. Booking this wedding venue was so easy, and the payment plans allowed my now husband to pay out the cost over ten months. This allowed us to focus on other things besides placing half down payments. On the day of the wedding when we couldn't find our unity candles they stepped up and fixed the problem with no questions. I would recommend this chapel to anyone looking for a breathtaking setting for a truly magical day!
I was married here not long ago and the entire staff was awesome. They was extremely helpful in everything from schedule my date to return phone calls about simple question that I had.
Not only did they help me with information for my wedding but also places for my reception. They are also very resonable as far as price (just check their website). They are actually building a new reception center that is similar to the beautiful chapel set to open soon.
The chapel itself is breathtaking. We had amazing pictures. I hightly recommend this chapel.
My only thought is that maybe they can add a bigger dressing room. It was hard to have so many people in one room but it should be fine if your bridesmaids come dressed.
The Marty Leonard Chapel is absolutely beautiful! We got so many compliments on our venue. It also made for beautiful pictures. Katherine and Charles and great people to work with. Very professional and helpful as well as sweet! I recommend this place to anyone!
Gorgeous chapel made for amazing pictures. One tip though, if you want this place on Saturday, book early. The staff is very hands off, so you will need a coordinator if you are having an intricate ceremony.
My husband and I wanted a spriritual ceremony and Marty Leonard provided the perfect venue for that. From the beginning to end, from planning to the ceremony, it went just the way we envisioned. The staff at Marty Leonard is fantastic, the building itself is beautiful, the grounds are well kept and I just can't say enough wonderful things about it.
I couldn't have asked for a better location for my wedding ceremony. My husband is an architect and his one request for our wedding was to get married at the Marty Leonard Chapel because he studied it when he was in school. I had never heard of it before but as soon as I looked it up I knew it would be perfect because it is so unique. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure your ceremony is flawless. I can't tell you how many compliments I have received from my guests about how beautiful the ceremony was. I highly recommend the Marty Leonard Chapel--I know you'll love it as much as my husband and I do!
Tom and I had an amazing wedding at the chapel! The venue is so beautiful and requires very little if any decorations. The service was incredible. Our coordinator listened to all of our requests at the rehearsal and everything went off without a hitch. The sound system worked beautifully and we were able to use our own music and our friends to help out which cut down on costs as well. The little balcony provides a wonderful acoustic place for musicians. It was also the perfect size for us to comfortable hold our guests..about 120 I think. Also the setting is so lovely for your wedding pictures-inside and outside. I highly recommend the chapel for its asthetic beauty and for the wonderful service you will receive!
Anyone can appreciate the tremendous architecture of this chapel! We literally did not bring in one decoration item. The place speaks for itself, which really was nice and helped with cost. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and I would recommend this place to anyone!
The Chapel is absolutely beautiful! Katherine is nice and quick with responses! We had a beautiful wedding day and everything was perfect!
The chapel help our 150 guests perfectly. We got married at 6 on the longest day of the year, so we had plenty of light coming in through the windows. The pictures we have are fantastic.
Good venue
awesome venue for an awesome price.
The chapel is stunning. The staff is very friendly and supportive. Everyone who came commented on how beautiful the chapel was. Perfect for a wedding of 10 - 200. Also it is blessed by most major faiths so it is sanctioned for most faiths. We had a Catholic service.
The moment my husband and I walked up the walkway towards the chapel, he said, "This is it!" and as we walked in, there was no doubt... we just COULDN'T get married anywhere else... and we were right. The chapel is so incredibly elegant, it demands reverence... and any attempt to dress it up, decorate it or change it would be lost... The open architecture invites the Divine to radiate through every nook and cranny, creating a sacred space unrivaled by any man-made structure, as if you were nestled in the arms of Mother Nature herself... The perfect balance for someone who wants the brilliance and splendor of an outdoor wedding but the traditionalism or security of a church wedding.
Kathryn and Charles were a delight to work with and made sure that everything flowed seamlessly, without a hitch.
I had my wedding at the Marty Leonard Chapel and it was absolutely beautiful! The sunliglht poured through the windows, we needed no additional decoration because the chapel itself is so beautiful! The people there are wonderful and so very helpful! They helped make my day perfect!
The chapel is beautiful an doesn't require any decoration! That was easy.
The staff was definitely nice and responsive.
Be advised that they ate popular so you only get the chapel at the specified time. There will be another party before and after you.
This chapel is beautiful, which is why we booked it for our wedding. I felt very welcomed every time I visited, as I was always greated by someone. The chapel looks extremely large but they dont have too much seating, which I liked because I wasnt going to invite too many people. This really made the church look full of people, which is the look I was going for. The staff is very friendly and really enjoyed working with them.
I loved getting married at Marty Leonard Chapel!! The chapel is so beautiful that it didn't need any decorations! The staff is so helpful too. Definitely recommend.
I loved the chapel and we had a wonderful experience there! It made for beautiful pictures and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the loud music from Central Market. The chapel could not control this, but the music was heard during our ceremony.
When you view this Chapel you will fall in love immediately! The Chapel was exactly what I was looking for something intimate, not to large, and very open to match my vibrant personality! You have to visit, and I will bet that you will book this venue after viewing! Mrs. Katherine is a joy to work with! My wedding was on a Firday at 2.30PM
The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Its a great space for an intimate wedding.
My now husband picked out this place when we were first dating. He said "If I ever get married to you in Fort Worth, I want to get married there," so it was a no-brainer when we got engaged that this was the place we would have our ceremony. It is absoultely beautiful and the photographs of my wedding are stunning. The staff is very accomadating. The only negatives are that it was a little pricey in my opinion, I had to have my rehearsal in the morning on the Friday before because they have weddings Friday night, and Katherine, the chapel coordinator was very annoying at our rehearsal. I had everything planned out and she kept suggesting alternatives, even getting my parents disgruntled at eachother about seating arrangements when we had already discussed where everyone would sit. She just wouldn't let us do what we wanted to do until I put my foot down. On the wedding day however, she was no where to be seen and I was a happy bride!!!
so kind and helpful and enthusiastic! it was great to work with a place that helped support an organization that works with at-risk youth and their families.
I loved this chapel. The wedding was so special and beautiful.
The chapel is an archetectual piece of art. The atmosphere is peaceful and tranquil, without being stuffy. Minimal decoration is allowed because the chapel needs little decoration to be beautiful. (saves on flower costs!!!) The acoustics are wonderful for voices or instruments. The staff is gracious and helpful.
Our ceremony was breath taking and beautiful. The staff was helpful and super nice. The facilities were clean and there was tons of space to get ready in. The acoustics in the chapel were awesome. I could go on for days about how great Marty Leonard was but you should check it out for yourself. You will need to book further out than some other locations, we booked 16 months before and they were booking around our dates at that time.
Xxcellent place to hold our wedding. Very beautiful, sacred, and memorable. It was great working with Katherine!
Everything was perfect. The chapel is so beautiful, I didn't have to add anything to it. The staff was friendly and helpful and made everything so easy and less stressful!
I had no problems booking my event. The price was actually discounted for a Sunday wedding. Everything was very low stress. The only thing to take not of is that the time is given in blocks of 3 hours so taking pictures has to be done quickly.
I had my wedding there last Saturday and couldn't be happier. It was in the afternoon and the sun just lit up the chapel and really played up the architecture. Kathrine is wonderful to work with and has given many helpful suggestions. Floral arrangements are simply not necessary because of all the architecture, and the staff does provide several Boston ferns to fill up some of the space. I did do flowers on the tops of the pews, but looking back, even those were not necessary. The chapel is beautiful simply the way it is.
Just so you are aware, the chapel has a big room and then a smaller dressing room. I didn't think that my girls would all fit in the room to get changed and hang out and I know his guys wouldn't either, so we had both parties change and get ready somewhere else. Once we were there, it wasn't a problem because one group was always above us taking pictures so the other group would have the big room to spread out in.
The organ was beautiful. I can't say enough good things about this place. It was stunning in the day, but at night I'm sure it is equally stunning.
the second I stepped foot into the Marty Leonard chapel I knew it was where I was going to get married. It's gorgeous... Literally breathtaking. Throughout the entire process their coordinator Katherine was such a joy to work with and very patient with us as we did change our date a couple times! The only thing I wish was the the day or coordination was a little more organized. Charles was there with us and he was AMAZING although wish he would have helped us with the flow afterwards a little more. But, literally everything was so great here otherwise that this was such minute thing. Highly recommend this venue!
What an amazing place, and service to match!!
The Staff is amazing. Plus since I did it on a monday it only cost $350, plus the deposit, which I recieved back. This is a gorgeous chapel, and was the perfect place to hold, my simple wedding.
Our experience with the Marty Leonard Chapel was wonderful. Charles, the Chapel Assistant was present for our initial meeting, rehearsal and the big day and he made sure everything was prepared and went off without a hitch. They offer excellent customer service and a BEAUTIFUL venue. The chapel features such unique and elegant architecure, beautiful natural light during day and romantic lighting at night...its the perfect place for a small to mid size wedding. LOVED IT. As a side note...it is reasonably priced as well. I'd have my wedding there all over again if I could!
When we first went to visit the chapel, I fell in love. The architecture is so beautiful that it didn't require any decorating. In fact, I think adding anything to it would ruin its beauty. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. We really enjoyed having our special day here.
This is an absolutely beautiful site for a wedding! Due to the amazing architecture, there is little need for extra decorations (helps control overall budget!!) The staff were always so helpful and friendly.
