She was incredible! She supported me through quite an ordeal with another makeup artist. Myself, my mom, and all my bridesmaids looked amazing on my wedding day. Her hair stylist was so sweet and as a team they worked so hard to keep us on schedule. My hair and makeup held up all day long in 90 degree heat and I have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful I look in photos. I felt so gorgeous on my wedding and day. Thank you doesn't cover it! Hire her and thank me later!

Amazing! Mary K is so easy to work with, and she will work with you to create your makeup and hair vision. I was thrilled with my results, as were all the other women who had their hair and makeup done. It was not heavy at all and didn’t even feel like I had makeup on. My hair also lasted the entire night. Highly recommend!

When I say Katie was absolute perfection, I truly mean it! I knew she was going to be my makeup artist about five minutes into our phone call when I mentioned that I wanted sparkles and bright colors for my makeup, and she said "oh I LOVE sparkles!" She was so excited to play around with color and shimmer, and I knew she would take excellent care of me. Leading up to my wedding, I was very anxious and texted her a few times. She always got back to me ASAP with exactly the info I needed, and didn't make me feel like a crazy bride. She cleared up any confusion I had, and kept communication open. I really appreciated that! The day of, Katie was a total delight! We got started at 9AM but she had pep in her step and kept our energy up (and our schedule moving forward). She was friendly, funny, refreshing, and just a lot of fun to be around. All of my bridesmaids were getting their makeup done alongside myself, so it was a long morning/afternoon and she made us all feel beautiful and energized! As for the makeup: Literally could not have been more perfect and gorgeous!!! Every one of my bridesmaids had a different shade of chameleon glitter on their eyes and perfectly shaped false lashes. Their faces were glowing and shimmering, and their eyes were breathtaking. As was mine! I gasped/screamed when I saw my final look--I didn't think I could look so amazing, but Katie went above and beyond! She even had some extra glitter to put in my hair--I was a glitter princess, and so much of that was thanks to Katie! Oh and she also did a wonderful job with the groom, who got a little glitter half moon on his cheek to match mine. I highly HIGHLY recommend Katie for her professionalism, positive attitude, open communication, and incredible talent! Seriously, you cannot go wrong with her, I can guarantee that.

Overall the experience was not the best. It was a terrible experience actually. From the start, we were told the make up/ hair trial and wedding day make up and hair , would be the same price. Because and I quote”the trial is done to the full extent it will be, on the wedding day. ” then she tried to increase the price of the wedding day hair and make up. When we were told it would be the exact same price as the trial. My hair( the bride), was not well done. It barely lasted an hour, and my hair holds curls very well, if I could add a photo, of my hair, during our first dance, you’d see how badly it was done. Heat, rain , snow. Etc were NOT to blame. It was a perfect mild day. Wasn’t hot or freezing cold. It was a perfect fall day. So weather is not to blame for my hair disaster . It was rather embarrassing to be honest. It looked awful. I could of done a better job, I do a better job when I curl my hair at home. My make up was a little better, but truly not what I expected. She didn’t even use setting spray on my wedding day, so I used my sisters who was the maid of honor. I ended up looking very cakey , which I told her I did NOT WANT. The mother of the brides hair did not hold either, and ended up looking really bad only after a small amount of time. Overall, I believe one can get a better hair and make up artist elsewhere.

My makeup looked EXACTLY how I envisioned it would on my wedding day! Mary K will work with you to create the perfect look during your trial so you feel comfortable going in to the day. She will travel to you too! We had 8 girls plus my mom that need to get their makeup done the morning of the wedding with a tight timeline and Mary K got them all done in plenty of time! I was so impressed with how professional she was and how fast she was able to get everyone's makeup done with all of them looking beautiful. I highly recommend!!

My makeup and hair was PERFECTION for my wedding day. Mary K was easy to work with and gave me the exact look I wanted. Her makeup brought out my best features, without looking too dramatic. She provided very light contouring, which I've never done before, and it was gorgeous. I've been picky about my hair for years, and she gave me a stunning, chic low bun updo that was the best my hair has ever looked. I've never looked better. Also, the hair and makeup stayed put from 10am-midnight, including lots of crying :) and dancing the night away. Highly recommend!!!
