Mary Kelly is a magical unicorn. If you're looking for a photographer, look no further, you've found her! She is a jack of all trades - a hype person, a wrangler, a troubleshooter ...
and so much more! Working with Mary was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in September 2023. We were interested in finding a photographer who could capture candid moments, as well as some posed/portraits, and Mary perfectly captured the magic of the day. From our initial conversation, we immediately knew we wanted her to be a part of our day, especially since your photographer is the third wheel and with you for the majority of it. She makes you feel so comfortable and like a close friend from the get-go!! Initial planning all the way through to our wedding day was absolutely seamless given Mary's attention to detail, organization and great communication. We did an engagement shoot session with her before the wedding which was awesome to get more comfortable with both her and in front of the camera, and the photos came out absolutely stunning. Prior to the wedding, Mary helped inform our timeline, which had a challenge of capturing two brides getting ready since we are an LGBTQ couple, and worked with us on on our shot list to outline all of the different photos and people we wanted to capture. On our wedding day, Mary and her additional shooters, Mike and Patty, were extremely professional, ensured they got everything from the shot list and were barely obtrusive to our guests' experience. Mary sent us a few sneak peaks the day after our wedding which were incredible, and once we received back our full album in January 2024, we were in awe of how stunningly she captured every piece of our wedding day. Mary also recommended a videographer she's closely worked with, Josh from Bear in Motion, who we also ended up hiring. They truly are a dynamic duo! We have photos and videos we'll cherish for a lifetime and new friends!
With a market saturated with a billion wedding photographers, it was an overwhelming assignment to pick the "perfect" one for our special day. Thinking back, I consider myself luc...
ky to have found Mary Kelly Photography through her Instagram/Facebook account. She was quick to respond and we scheduled time to discuss what our needs were. I immediately felt a connection with Mary, she is friendly, with a sense of humor, personable, accommodating and most of all HONEST...the list can go on and on! If you are looking for a creative, talented, and truly genuine person to capture your wedding day look no further. Mary Kelly Photography is phenomenal. Her work is simply beautiful and every photo taken exceeded our expectations. We had lots of fun with Mary too! She is just awesome...Hire her, you will not be sorry!
What. a. gem!! Mary is incredibly talented, but beyond that she is one of the kindest, most caring and genuine people we have ever met. Simply super human. Mary was recommended to ...
us by our cousins, and from our first meeting, we knew we had found our wedding photographer. She spent the time to get to know us as a couple and our personalities, which we so greatly appreciated.
We made the wonderful decision to have an engagement photo shoot and had Mary pick the location....and she did not disappoint. She was able to bring us out of our comfort zone and had some amazing shots in a variety of locations. She was consistently using her eye to find the next place for the best shot that would work for us. We loved Mary's sense of adventure and were happy we could spend significant time together before our Wedding Day so she could get to know us further. The colors and sunset shots that transpired from this day were remarkable, all thanks to Mary's keen eye and amazing photography skills, not to mention the countless hours she spent editing.
Fast forward to our big day. Mary was extremely professional, fun and creative with each passing minute. She found amazing light for our photos and was able to stay hidden, while capturing every moment. She helped us plan and execute on our timeline perfectly and made our day so much fun - an absolute joy to work with. She worked so well with our team of vendors, a dream for any couple. Everything was fun, light hearted and full of genuine smiles and laughs. Mary's passion radiated through the day, and our family loved having her capture our day!
Our final portfolio is everything we could have imagined and beyond. We love Mary's editing style, allowing the true colors of our day pop. We were so appreciative of all of the time and effort that went into each detail of the editing process. A true work of art.
Mary, thank you for being the dream wedding photographer and for being an amazingly talented and kind human. We wish there were more people like you in this world!
Mary Kelly is second to none! Not only is she an exceptional human being, but she is a blast to work with and delivers amazing results. Her kindness, professionalism, creativity an...
d all-around passion for what she does makes working together so much fun. I leaned on her throughout the planning process, and she helped me every step of the way. She takes the time to get to know you as a couple and understand how to best capture your day the way you want it. It’s clear how much she cares about her clients and is committed to giving you the best experience and pictures ever to relive your special day. I was bummed about the potential for rain, but Mary got me excited about some cool rain pictures we could get and assured me the lighting would be perfect (encouragement I needed and very much appreciated!) We had an awesome experience working with Mary and highly recommend her to everyone.
Mike and I could not have asked for a better wedding photo experience. The photos speak for themselves. We were nervous about photos because we are not the couple that does profess...
ional photo shoots often lol. But, Mary immediately put us at ease. We had so much fun taking photos and you can tell! The quality of the photos are 11/10.
The communication ahead of time was excellent. Mary designed the best timeline for us, allowing us to enjoy our day. We got to take great photos and still not miss our day. And of course she always offered solid advice ahead of time that helped us prepare.
Family portraits were quick and painless. We had two toddlers and Mary and her team (shout out to Chris) were excellent with them!
The elements were definitely in our favor. We had a beautiful December day, but I was never worried about the photos with Mary. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mary, she's fun, organized, and creative. It was a stress free day with her help!
We are so happy that the joy and love was captured from the day and that we will get to look back at them for years to come! Thank you so much!
I cannot recommend Mary Kelly highly enough. Beyond her brilliant photography skills, Mary truly goes above and beyond as a vendor. Mary spoke with me several times before my weddi...
ng to go over my timeline, providing hands-on guidance as we edited the plan to make the day as seamless as possible. She was even available via text and FaceTime whenever I needed to go over something. Her accessibility, especially the few weeks before the wedding, was incredibly comforting. In addition, Mary and her assistant, Kristen, made us and our guests feel so comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. Mary is fun and down to earth, but at the same time she means business and can command a rowdy bridal party and demanding family members. Mary and Kristen even checked in with my immediate family throughout the night to ensure they were capturing shots that were important to them. Lastly, THE DAY AFTER my wedding, Mary sent me a gallery of gorgeous pictures. They were a true gift as my husband and I embarked on our honeymoon. Entrusting Mary to document the most important day of our lives was one of the best decisions we made, and we'll be forever grateful to her. You won't regret hiring Mary for any of your photography needs!

ments of COVID. On the day of the wedding, she was so much fun to work with and was great at handling all of the family members who needed to be managed. We got some of the previews the next day and we spent 3 hours of our honeymoon just gushing over them. We absolutely loved working with Mary and can't wait to see the rest of the photos!

y questions I had about timeline, specific photo requests, literally ANYTHING - Mary was super helpful in making sure our day was perfect.
Mary took so many photos it was hard to narrow down for our album. Every moment of our day was captured beautifully. Mary was organized, efficient, and did an amazing job. If you are looking for an amazing photographer and someone who will make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible, look no further!

work with and captured really beautiful moments. She was very transparent and knowledgeable in COVID protocols. I highly recommend booking Mary. I can't wait to use her for family photoshoots in the future. Thanks Mary XO

come and shoot our small elopement for us. Seriously, she drove 4 hours by herself to make our day special. She is immediately kind and comforting, with a wonderful warmth and incredible amount of talent! Her vision takes hold in even the strangest of places, where you think “what will this turn out like?” And you’re beyond shocked with the stunning outcome. We wish we could get married all over again for the experience she personally created for us!
Mary was truly the best vendor we worked with for our wedding! She went above and beyond for us and was so flexible, knowledgeable and supportive during every aspect of our wedding...
. Before our wedding we did engagement pictures with her and she was so helpful in finding the perfect spot. We have never had professional pictures done before and Mary made us feel so comfortable. Her pictures were beautiful and truly captured us. We unfortunately had to postpone our large 2020 wedding but had an intimate wedding instead that Mary covered. She helped my vision come to light and was so supportive during the whole process. It was a stressful decision to postpone a wedding and plan a smaller one in a month but Mary put me at ease and our intimate wedding wouldn't have happened without her help. For your wedding you want someone that not only takes beautiful pictures but is easy to work and can put your nerves at ease. MARY DOES IT ALL AND MORE! She truly is the BEST wedding photographer ever. I would 100% recommend her and her team.
2021 Update: Mary does it again! This year Mary and her team shot our 2021 wedding reception. And yet again she was so supportive and helpful throughout the whole process. She helped me make decisions about the schedule and captured yet another beautiful day. I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Mary and her team!
One of my close friends hired Mary for her wedding 5 years ago and ever since I saw her photos I loved her work and knew I wanted to hire her for my wedding! Mary was the easiest m...
ost flexible person to work with. She was so supportive and was there for me every step of the way. My original wedding day was May 16,2020 and I had to reschedule due to Covid in August. She called me, texted me, checked in to see how I was doing, and if I needed anything she was always there!! Planning a wedding is stressful enough then having to deal with covid and rescheduling was just an added layer, but she was just so awesome. On my wedding day she made everything happen and was just such a pleasure to work with!! I would definitely hire her!!! I love how my pictures came on they are STUNNING!! Thanks for everything Mary!!
Mary and team were absolutely amazing!! From the very second we hired Mary she was attentive and caring. Our day went seamlessly with Mary and team. They were fun and got everythin...

xpert guidance and advice when we were originally planning our ceremony. We ended up rescheduling our wedding three times because of covid, eventually choosing to do a private ceremony with a reception to follow next year. Throughout it all, Mary has been exceedingly kind, flexible, and supportive. During our wedding ceremony she made us feel very safe and comfortable by taking all covid precautions. The pictures she took of our wedding are gorgeous; she's incredibly talented, and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Thank you Mary for making this whole experience so wonderful! We highly recommend Mary Kelly Photography.
I can't say enough about Mary. For starters, she was so easy to work with. She did an incredible job from engagement photos to the day of our wedding. To start, I was nervous to...
take engagement photos because my husband is a notorious non smiler but she immediately put us both at ease and had us smiling and laughing and we had a freaking blast taking photos. Throughout the planning process she made herself available to me to answer questions, help with my timeline, and even suggested our incredible videographer. The day of, Mary and her team made everything perfect. She kept everyone at ease and took incredible photos (even with covid restrictions). She had everyone including our bridal party and families relaxed and having fun. We even got comments throughout the evening about how our friends have never seen a photographer that worked so well with everyone, blended right in and wasn't awkward at all. The photos I have gotten so far (it's been a week and I already have a handful - talk about incredible turn around time) are all absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend Mary enough. You won't be sorry you chose her. Her professionalism and ability to become your friend and be a support system (and trust me - COVID made me an absolute psycho and she went out of her way to ease every concern I had). Book her. Book her now - thank me later!
BEST WEDDING VENDOR EVER!!!! We used Mary for our Wedding, it was the best decision we ever made. She is meticulous, making sure every small detail is exactly the way you want. I...
n speaking with Mary extensively throughout my planning process, I came to realize that she is the most sincere and down to earth person ever. She understood that we were not your typical couple, and didn't want all the "typical" pictures taken. And seeing examples of her work, it speaks for itself! She was able to take my vision of what kind of photographs I was thinking of doing, and even broke it down in a detailed timeline, to ensure all aspects of the day would transition smoothly, even down to when the lighting would be most conducive to our venue. In addition to her amazing talent, she has incredible customer service. Throughout the whole planning process her communication was almost instant and super accommodating. She was so fantastic at organizing all of the photos on our wedding day. They made all of the posed photos fun and different, and even had my German Shepherd "Tikki" looking adorable in the shots! She made everyone feel at ease, she knew everyone by their names, and even made jokes - nothing felt forced. I have been in several weddings over the years, and I have never worked with a photographer who blended so well with the bridal party…and then blended in at the reception. You didn’t even know she were there, but she seemed to be everywhere capturing special moments all evening. She even sent me some "sneak peek" shots the very next day, which were beyond breathtaking. Since then, we have gotten back our photographs, and they are all simply phenomenal! Now the difficult but exciting part is to decide which to include in our album! If you are looking for a photographer to capture any special event, you don’t need to look any further. Mary is THE BEST. You will love her just as we do.

l, she had even given us recommendations on Djs and makeup artists that we ended up going with as well. Mary Kelly knew exactly what to do and say while taking pictures with the family to keep the process moving along, it was great! I felt so comfortable having her around and being able to ask her for help, and not to mention the AMAZING pictures she takes. I could not believe how beautiful the pictures came out, we are so in love with them! 100% recommend, you must go with her!

l be to remember your special day. On top of that, she was so helpful and genuine. Her attention to detail was impeccable, whether it would be moving my sister’s hair or a necklace for a picture, and truly directing everyone where they needed to be to make it as seamless as possible (as we all know taking pictures is so important but also hard to keep on top of a large party!) Mary also has Bobby pins handy and had amazing tips outside of picture taking. She might want to also become a wedding planner because that’s what it felt like!! Thank you for capturing exactly what the day was, beautiful!!! See you in a few years when I have a ring on my finger!! It was a pleasure!

essional Mary is. My fiancé and I met with Mary when we first got engaged. Not only did we love her work, but she was thorough, patient, and so so helpful. She even wrote out a number of different time lines for us for the day of the wedding. When we left the meeting we just knew we needed her as our photographer! The day of our wedding, Mary and her team were rockstars. It felt like Mary was not only our photographer, but our wedding planner! She kept us on time, relaxed and we had so much fun. The photos are absolutely amazing. Mary provided me with pictures right away and they truly captured so many special moments of the day/night. I can’t say enough good things about her! Guests were saying how awesome Mary and her team were and my sister already wants to book her for when she gets married! Mary, Erin, and Amanda, THANK YOU! You are so amazing!

p support in the wedding planning in any way possible. Mary and her team came in with a plan, what we had wanted, and found opportunities along the day to snap pictures. The pictures we've received so far capture every emotion of the day. It's unbelievable how good her eye is and how much we forgot there were photographers at our day with us because Mary and her team felt as much as our bridal party as our bridesmaids and ushers.
Thank you so much Mary!!!!!!
