Mary Me Wedding Dances

r entire wedding process. Guests from our March 2024 wedding were so surprised and obsessed with our first dance, and they keep raving about it almost three months later. We were both total beginners, having never danced before, and each lesson was such a fun date; it was special to learn something together, especially with Mary as our instructor. She was super patient but also energetic and motivating, always asking us what we’d be comfortable trying but also pushing us to try cool moves that made us so proud once we nailed them. We had a pretty unique first dance song and wanted the full length of the song, and Mary catered the choreography perfectly to be unique and truly spectacular. I wasn’t even worried about forgetting any steps or getting nervous, because Mary empowered us and kept us rooted in the fun of it all. We even used a lesson to learn some basic moves for my husband’s mother-son dance, and Mary made my now mother-in-law so comfortable and at ease. By the time of our wedding, Mary had prepped us so well that we walked onto the dance floor with such confidence and rocked it. It’s hard to summarize the feelings or memories created by our dance, but they are priceless…you’ll be so grateful that you hired Mary. We now have a dance we’ll do every year on our anniversary, or really anytime, and now we’re even hoping to do more lessons with her for casual dancing! An extra perk is that Mary strategically includes moves that make for stunning photos, too. Best decision ever and would highly encourage any other couple to do a coordinated first dance with Mary as their teacher.
