the way she picked up the phone, I knew she was the one (to plan the wedding!) Our relationship with Marylen developed from vendor to friendor. For the couple that is too busy to plan their wedding, that has the highest of expectations, Marylen is your planner. My husband and I are both Type A (well, he’s type A and I’m type A-) and Marylen met each and every single one of our expectations. If it means anything, we work in large corporations with very low for mediocre work and very little patience for people working on “the surface.” We’re not impressed by vendors constantly reacting with “OMG AMAZING! FABULOUS!” to everything. That’s why we loved Marylen. We assigned something, and she over delivered each and every time. Some traits to describe Marylen: 1. Excellent communicator 2. Excellent organization skills 3. Incredibly creative 4. Understands your needs the first time around, and 5. Goes above and beyond, and keeps it real. If we did it all over again (and I wish we could), Marylen is the first on our people to contact. Marylen, thank you for bringing our Vision to life and delivering what was a magical night for us AND our family and friends.

she was so attentive even on a day where there was chaos. Over the months leading up to our wedding, she continued to maintain that calm charge of every situation. Marylen paired us with vendors that were similarly committed to the excellence that she delivers and our wedding was magic. She's easy going, detail oriented and amazingly reliable. Marylen is like no other and anything she touches, translates into perfection. Can't say that enough!!

was that she worked well with all my vendors which made it easier for everything to flow nicely. At first, she was very distant. I didn't really hear much from her unless I emailed her. But I completely understand as she has a lot of weddings she is involved in and I only hired her for day-of. However, the week of the wedding we were in constant communication. And the day-of was extraordinaire. I worried about nothing other than believing I lost my gratuity money. and even then she offered to pay for the gratuities just so I wouldn't worry, or drive to my house an hour away to get it. She even dropped off my unity candles and vows (that I completely forgot) at the church 4 hours before the ceremony. Whenever I needed something, she made it happen. Thank you Marylen for making our day...pretty Easy!!!
