I can’t say enough about Mary-Ruth. I had found Mary-Ruth at the Bridal Expo at the convention center. She was very welcoming and super heartwarming. When I planned to meet with he...
r she had everything ready to go and gave me so many ideas! When she brought my flowers to our venue I almost burst into tears and how beautiful they were. Everything exceeded exactly as I had imagined! Thank you again Mary-Ruth!
Mary-Ruth Chapin was absolutely the most wonderful florist I could have imagined! It is clear she loves what she does and knows exactly what she’s doing. When I began looking at fl...
orists, I thought I might need to “do it myself,” but Mary-Ruth worked within my more modest budget to create beautiful table arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, a flower crown for the flower girl, and other gorgeous floral accents. Mary-Ruth was very prompt with communication and spent time going through everything in detail with me during our in-person meeting. She took care of setting up of everything, arriving early to deliver the flowers and staying late into the evening to ensure everything was perfect.
Mary-Ruth went above and beyond in so many ways, (that I don’t want to describe in detail lest she have to do it for everyone else!), but suffice to say, if you work with Mary-Ruth, you’ll be working with someone who takes pride in what she does, won’t try to upsell you on unnecessary extras (unless you want them!), and will allow you to rest easy that your florals will be absolutely gorgeous on your big day.
Where do I begin?! I was a very detailed-oriented, creative bride. I had so many ideas and needed help bringing them to life. That is just what Mary-Ruth did for me! She took all o...
f my ideas for my Secret Garden inspired wedding and brought them to life for me. I do not know what I would have done without her. She created my beautiful bouquets (myself + bridesmaids + mothers of the bride and groom + flower girl + grandmother), boutonnieres, ceremony aisle, escort card moss key display, garland, bird cage and birch vase centerpieces, and my cake table!! Everything came together perfectly on my day and there was nothing for me to worry about. Also, I wanted hanging amaranthus for my bridal bouquet, but unfortunately her vendor could not supplythem because of the heat temperatures; nevertheless, Mary-Ruth, on the day of my wedding, SURPISED me with the hanging amaranthus on my bouquet!! I do not know how she found them, but she did and completely made my day! She is one of the sweetest women I have ever met, truly passionate about her floral designs, and such a pleasure to be around. Thank you so much for making all of my ideas come true Mary-Ruth! I hope to have cause to request you once again in the future!
This is my very first review ever!!! But I had to pause my busy day to do it otherwise, I'd be doing the public a disservice how much the lady I write about. Mary-Ruth was thorough...
ly excellent! I'm a flower lover and very particular about how I want my arrangements. So when I say M was excellent, I mean every word. From the first time I consulted with her for my wedding, I knew I could trust her. She is a natural with flowers and has vast experience as a florist. Soft spoken and such a great listener. I could feel the passion she has for her job from how willing she was to help me make the best out of my budget, to her top-notch suggestions and excellent service delivery. Thanks very much Mary-Ruth. You made our day! Xoxo
Since our ceremony was planned to be outdoors we kept the ceremony flowers very minimal. We ended up moving indoors but our venue still made everything look beautiful. The center...

ion and it all looked perfect! Mary-Ruth was the sweetest and kindest to work with planning my wedding!
Mary-Ruth is a wonderful woman and florist. She worked with me from the beginning about my budget and my vision for my wedding.

d off before I arrived at the wedding site and I found that I was missing a corsage for my mother. We called and she gratefully made one immediately and brought it up to the site before the wedding so all was good. My bridesmaids' bouquet looked amazing and very similar to my silk bouquet.
The only thing I would say is that some of the boutonniere flowers were a little wilted, but I do NOT blame her for this. She had called me a week and a half before and we already had changed some flowers due to hurricane sandy so I believe the hurricane did some damage to flower distributors.
All in all she was wonderful. I am a fairly calm bride, so those who may be more stressed may have freaked out about the corsage, but everything worked itself out and the corsage looked beautiful!
I would recommend her because she is not a typical flower shop and she pretty much only does weddings. She is very personable and really strives to make her brides happy!

ake my vision a reality. I have dreamed of my wedding since I was a little girl and the flowers were always such a big part of that dream. All I can say is Mary-Ruth FAR EXCEEDED anything I ever could have dreamed of. Her vision and talent showed through on our wedding day and I couldn’t stop smiling as I took it all in. Every piece was breathtaking. Since the wedding we use Mary-Ruth’s name in conversation as though we are talking about a family member. Not only did she provide all of our flowers, she followed us around during our cocktail hour holding a tray of hors d’oeuvres for us to eat while we took pictures!! We have many pictures that our photographer took of her and us that we look back on fondly. Her personality is wonderful and she was so easy to get along with. From the moment we meet, I knew she was our florist and I knew we could faithfully put our trust in her to make our floral dreams come true. Mary-Ruth, thank you for all the time, patience, and effort that you put into our wedding. Your talent shined and everyone was amazed. I have had so many people tell me that you really captured “me” in your flower choices and designs. You went above and beyond to make our day so memorable. We are forever grateful. I have been recommending Mary-Ruth Chapin to any bride I meet. She is fabulous!!!!! I just can’t say enough!
