2019. He didn’t respond so we went there, and there is a note on the door that they are closed. He will not answer his phone or return text messages.
Everyone tells me that it was the best wedding ever. They say that it was beautiful, elegant, and joyous. Though I paid for it, I can take no credit for the above praise.

's is a beautiful venue and location for a wedding. It is actually part of Falls Park. Our wedding ceremony was held completely outside on the stone terrace, and the candlelight dinner was at round tables set in the garden under trees strung with lights. We returned to the terrace for a dance party celebration.
Mary's is an elegant venue. Mary's takes the beautiful setting and adds a lot of class. Everything was first class all the way from the dinnerware to the staff. I'm surprised that we got such elegance for the price.
Throughout the wedding celebration, I saw nothing but smiles. That includes the staff. The whole thing was "perfect Daddy" according to the bride. If you want the most important day in your life to be joyous, Mary's will ensure that it is.
Now here's the truth. Our wedding coordinator, Jessica, is a true professional. She guided us through the whole planning process and handled all coordination of vendors/rentals from the DJ to the Limo. Two days before the wedding we had to make a significant change to the wedding. Jessica redid the schedule and re-coordinated the vendors in two hours. Even though a rain shower soaked every thing from tablecloths to the welcome sign 15 minutes before the ceremony, you would have never known it 10 minutes later. There were plenty of reasons why things could have gone wrong, but Mary's staff put out those fires.
During the reception Jessica continuously checked on each person in the wedding party to ensure that their needs were met. She loves what she does and loves people too. She really went above and beyond to see that this wedding was "perfect Daddy".

enamored with the coziness of Mary’s as well. Of course, the food was fantastic. And really what made our day so great was Jessica, the wedding coordinator. She is on her game! She made sure that everything went as planned. Even our guests commented on what a great job she was doing! From running the event to making sure the groom and I had a drink in our hand throughout the reception, she really went above and beyond. I could not recommend Mary’s at Falls Cottage and Jessica more!

ke each wedding personal. We hired a day-of coordinator to assist along with the Mary's staff during the event. Our coordinator and Jessica worked beautifully together and made everything seamless. They were a great team and made sure everything was taken care of so I did not have to worry about details during the event. It was beautiful, and we could not have had better weather. Mary's is also a great place to showcase Greenville and Falls Park to people coming from out of town. We had 50 guests and it was the perfect size for the venue, in our opinion. I delivered all the decorations prior to the wedding and she set them up better than I could have imagined. The guests raved about the food and site. When at last minute a small rainy mist came unexpectedly, accommodations were made immediately and seamlessly. (My mom still raves about Jessica and her hospitality 7 months later!) Luckily the rain only lasted 5 minutes and the weather cleared, but I was really impressed that this didnt cause me any stress. that was thanks to Mary. She was so kind and supportive and she knew what she was doing! Everything ran so smoothly, my husband and I literally did not have to worry about a thing. She was such a pleasure to work with, as well as all of her staff! When we told her about our 90 year old great-grandparents and how special they were to us, she made a point to serve them food herself and escort them around the property. She even walked them to their car and sent them off at the end of the night! I cannot thank her enough for the kindness and generosity she showed us that day.
This venue is small and can only accommodate 100 people, but with the location, and the fact that they do their own catering, it ended up being very cost effective. I have gotten so many compliments over the last few weeks from our wedding guests, raving about how much they enjoyed the food. Mary's catering really does make amazing food and your guests will not be disappointed.
Our biggest concern was the traffic and noise from main street. And looking back, I don't remember hearing any of it. In fact we went back and watch our ceremony footage and during the ceremony there was an ambulance siren in the background. It went on for 5 mins, but neither of us, or the family ever remember hearing it during the actual event. The atmosphere was so romantic and beautiful, and the moment so intimate, that the rest of the world just fell away.
If you're looking for a beautiful wedding location that is on the smaller side, definitely check out Falls Cottage. It was one of the best decisions we made!

Great references for flowers (Desiree), DJ, Great food, etc. Indoor and outdoor seating, providing shelter and options to relax and enjoy. My only complaint would be to provide the bride a FAQ to answer questions that could become frequent during the planning.
