Mary catered our wedding on 9/24/22, and everything turned out amazing!! We really wanted our guests to feel like they were enjoying a meal at a restaurant with friends, rather th...
an a traditional wedding meal, and Mary certainly delivered. She
catered the menu to exactly what we wanted.. we landed on a couple of fresh pasta dishes, and an authentically delicious, Italian dinner. Everyone was raving about the food all night, saying it was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. She even whipped up an absolutely beautiful (and delicious!) wedding cake for us after we requested it only 2 days before the event. And on top of the amazing food, Mary was kind and patient with our requests. I knew we were in good hands throughout the entire process. She doesn't Email much, so the contract process was more relaxed than I'm used to, but don't let that scare you, she will not disappoint. Her food is amazing, and she is amazing! I cannot recommend her enough.
My husband and I got married 9-18-21 at The Inn at West Settlement. After having an awful experience with Hudson Valley BBQ and having him cancel on us only THREE months before our...
wedding we were relieved when our venue told us Mary was available for our wedding. We had a tasting at the venue that was to die for. Mary went ALL out and cooked up everything you could possibly imagine. We had leftovers for days! Everything was so delicious and she really worked closely with us to create the menu of our dreams. It's not often that I'm at a wedding where I see all of the guests gobbling down their meals, but all of our guests did! Guests are still talking about how great all of the food was (especially the pulled pork). Mary and her staff were so kind and easy to work with. I highly recommend booking Mary for your next event!
We hired Mary's Cookin' Again for our wedding at The Inn at West Settlement and couldn't have been more pleased. We worked with Mary to come up with a completely personalized menu...
based on some of our favorite dishes and preferences (such as seafood paella!). Everything was absolutely delicious! Our guests were commenting the morning after that "it was the best wedding food [they] ever tasted!". When we relayed the compliments to Mary, her response was, "That's because I don't make wedding food!". (we got a kick out of that). :) She's right -- it was beyond "wedding food" and was certainly a highlight of our special day.
Mary's cooking was the best food ever her kale salad was out of this world ,her hanger steak was cooked just right and the mashed potatoes were to die for. She did a great job. Her...
staff was impeccable they were curtious and very friendly. Mary is very easy to talk to and she works hard to make sure your wedding food goes smooth as possible!
Mary's Cookin' Again catering had excellent food.
It was a nightmare to get a hold of Mary. Her business line is her home phone number and she acts like you're bothering her when ...
you call. She is very relaxed about returning phone calls and emails, but is then nasty when she wanted something that I had offered twice and both times she brushed me off.
Her staff members that day of our wedding were excellent (aside from the young man who said "I don't know" when I asked him what dish a sauce was for, then continued to say that to the guests after I found some who did know & informed him).
All in all, if you like good food and don't care at all about the caterer's attitude, go with them!
Also, Mary said she was going to be there personally at my wedding and was not (could not help noticing that a month before my wedding the venue took her name off their website).
