From a young age, founder Marie Stack has been writing, arranging, and performing music. Trumpet, violin, and piano are just some of the instruments Marie plays. The musicians in MAS Music are just as talented and versatile as their founder. Playing instruments ranging from the saxophone to the bass guitar, the band performs both traditional and non-traditional songs. They are also happy to include any unique requests a couple may have for their special day.
MAS Music's ceremony packages offer different combinations of musical instruments to accommodate a range of preferences. MAS Jazz, made up of either a jazz quartet or trio, can perform all your favorite jazz standards and bebop music. The MAS five-piece party band can take you through the decades, from the 50s to the 80s, with an energetic flair. If you are looking for something a little more grand, MAS Swing could be the perfect addition to your wedding. This 15-piece band performs beloved big-band classics. DJ services can also be arranged along with the five-piece party band, so your guests can enjoy everything from golden oldies to today's hits at your wedding.

MAS did an absolutely beautiful job with our wedding. From beginning to end, working with Marie and her team of musicians was a dream. Marie is a true artist and professional. We felt so confident working with her throughout the whole process, and then on the wedding day her performance was absolutely incredible. Definitely highly recommend working with MAS!

When you book Marie, you're booking someone that is invested in making your day special. Marie took her time helping me pick the best songs for my event. She was super communicative and pleasant. When I struggled to find what songs to pick, she gave me great options. She was on time and did such an amazing job with my ceremony music. It made the day even more special! Marie and her team were fantastic. We very much wanted non-traditional music for our ceremony. We asked for pop/pop-punk songs for the pre-ceremony and ceremony and Marie was very accommodating to our requests. She even learned a new song that my wife specifically asked for to be used for her walking out song for the ceremony, and it was great. Money well spent.

It was such a pleasure working with Marie and her group for our wedding day! Marie was so communicative, helpful, and accommodating throughout the whole process, and on the day of, the string quartet provided a fantastic score to our ceremony and cocktail hour! The group has a great selection of classical and pop songs, plus they even learned a special request for my wife's entrance music! It made the day even more special! M.A.S. Music was absolutely great! We hired a string trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were on time, they had no issues playing each song we selected (which was all modern music), they were polite and most importantly the music sounded great! We would without a doubt hire them again!

It was a pleasure working with MAS for my wedding. Marie was very communicative, helped me pick songs, flexible about the timing, and most importantly enthusiastic. I chose violin and piano, but they also offer a variety of configurations at really reasonable prices. I’m a violinist myself, and I was really happy with the quality of the performance.

Marie played with a string trio and a jazz trio for our wedding in Brooklyn, NY. Leading up to the wedding, she was super flexible with our music choices, and communicated clearly. She found sheet music for our selections at no additional cost. Marie and her musicians were attentive, played well, and made our wedding evening even more special. They created a wonderful ambiance! We worked with Marie and her team for ceremony music for our wedding reception at a Catholic church in Fire Island, New York.
From our first phone call with Marie, it was clear we were in great hands. Marie was extremely flexible, knowledgeable, and eager to learn how she could help us on our special day. This was particularly impressive as our wedding required extensive travel logistics to Fire Island. Marie was able to help us figure out the best way to structure music for the entire ceremony, agree to every musical request we had which included several new musical arrangements and even offered to bring a keyboard to our church.
As we dealt with unexpected challenges, such as a change in priest and cantor, Marie offered help and a solution at every turn. For our ceremony, Marie and MAS music played all the arrangements we discussed to perfection and we constantly heard compliments throughout the day about our string quartet for our ceremony. We 1000% recommend Marie to any wedding couples looking for ceremony music, especially those getting married in the Catholic church.

5-star service!! Marie and her string quartet team provided A+ service in our wedding planning and at our actual wedding. She was so helpful during our planning of our procession and recession. She gave us many ideas of song choices for us to pick from – both classic and modern options. We loved her so much that we also hired her as a solo keyboardist to continue playing music at our cocktail hour. My wife and I have nothing but positive compliments for her services. We even requested if Marie’s string quartet could play an older, classic Chinese song during our ceremony. The song has sentimental importance for my parents since it was their wedding song. I thought it was a long shot since there might be sheet music already done—but guess what? Marie came through with our special request! Marie and her team were definitely a hidden gem that we could not have been happier to have found! With the live music, she definitely made my wedding more magical!

Marie was so great to work with, her and her musicians were incredible! We got the violin/keyboard duo for our ceremony and the jazz trio of sax, keyboard, and drums for our cocktail hour. All of the songs picked for the ceremony sounded great and went smoothly. The cocktail hour was awesome too, the one thing my husband wanted was a sax and Marie did not disappoint! She was always easy to get in touch with and was quick to respond to any question I had which I completely appreciated. I would highly recommend MAS music to anyone who wants the specialness of great live music and to work with such nice people!

Marie played at our wedding last week 09/23/21. It was so magical. Communication was wonderful during the entire process of cancelling and rescheduling multiple times due to covid. MAS Music (Marie and another musician, together 1 violinist and 1 cellist), played during our wedding ceremony in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on 3/23/19. Leading up to the wedding, Marie was always very friendly and responsive. I picked a song that was somewhat obscure for our prelude and she even found the sheet music for it. On the day of, she was super professional and she and the other musician played amazingly. Our wedding day was perfect and Marie helped to make that possible.

We were lucky enough to have Marie perform at our wedding yesterday and we loved having her! She was our violinist for the ceremony and cocktail hour and did a beautiful job! In addition to doing an amazing job, she was so easy to work with! She helped us choose songs for our ceremony and always followed up immediately if we had any questions. We booked a string trio for our wedding on September 15, 2018 at the Swan Club. Hands down, Marie was one of my most favorite vendors. Although she offered to meet up with us when we first booked her, she is actually the only vendor I never met up with even though we booked her a year prior. I was actually one of those crazy-type brides so for me to not need to meet up with her tells a lot about her; she is super easy to work with and so awesome :) But even through a year of emails, I felt like I got to know her. What I loved the most about Marie was her personality and enthusiasm; it is absolutely contagious! She is also undeniably talented and super responsive. I always had a million questions but she never once made me feel like I was annoying her. Day of my wedding was the first time I met her; she is absolutely lovely and such a fun person! My husband and I are EDM lovers so we actually made numerous special song requests. She not only accommodated to us, but she played them so awesomely. I still remember through the craziness & high of just saying "I do" and walking down the aisle back into the Swan Club, my husband and I looked at each other and were like "Wow - they were great!" lol. I highly recommend MAS Music, and of course, Marie :)

Marie was so easy to work with and provided such great string arrangements for our ceremony. She was also able to work out a deal to allow for the strings to continue into cocktail hour and to have one member of her group play the piano in another part of the cocktail festivities. Marie also provided great insight and suggestions into certain musical arrangements that would work best for our ceremony. Even though our ceremony was held in a large outdoor space, you could hear the strings at a perfect volume. We would whole heartedly recommend Marie Stack for your wedding and thank her for helping to add to the atmosphere of our ceremony!

MAS Music was fantastic. The church music was beautiful and Marie did a fantastic job from beginning to end. We had three musicians at the church but she also came to the venue and played a 2 hour cocktail hour. She played violin, trumpet, and piano throughout the day and was amazing. I highly recommend her company.

Marie is an absolute joy to work with. She is extremely attentive and makes herself available for any questions or concerns you may have. Working with her is as stress free as wedding planning gets :-)
During the wedding, she played with a string quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests still cannot stop talking about the beautiful music played during that time. She played both classical and pop hits. I still can't get enough of watching the videos that were sent to me that show off their exquisite talents. I have videos of the quartet to share for a lifetime. I'd book her again in a heartbeat!

M.A.S Music performed at my wedding on April 23, 2016. Marie was extremely responsive and professional. Marie found the music for all of my special song requests up until the week before the wedding. M.A.S music showed up on time, sounded beautiful, and worked very well with the EMCEE. M.A.S music also produced proof of insurance. Marie even showed up the day before to check out the venue the night before my wedding. I could not be happier with choosing M.A.S music for my wedding.

Marie was absolutely amazing! Not only was she able to play any song I requested, she helped to personalize my wedding ceremony and make it feel so very special. Marie Stack and her crew did an absolutely phenomenal job at our wedding this past September. We had a three piece, violin, keyboard and cello, for our ceremony music and cocktail hour, Aside from how the florals turned out this was hands down my favorite part of the wedding. Marie worked with me on music choices and gave great suggestions. She played special songs to us and it was beautiful, definitely added a magical element to the event. I also have to say, we had bad weather which caused the musicians to have to move inside and out multiple times and they did not utter one complaint (while some vendors most definitely did!) moving their instruments, antcipating what would happen next. I truly could not thank them enough. We highly recommend M.A.S Music as a professional and talented music vendor and hope we can use them for other events in the future.

Marie Stack, M.A.S. performed at our April 26, 2014 wedding at The Crescent Beach Club. We hired her to play strings for our ceremony and keyboard for the cocktail hour. Prior to our ceremony beautiful string music was played during our hospitality period and was heard throughout the venue. We had 3 strings for our ceremony (2 violins and a cello) and her cocktail hour keyboard was wonderful-----loud enough to be heard while also subtle enough not to intrude. She was very flexible as she started to set up for our outdoor ceremony and when it started to rain was able to bring everything back in and set up inside where our ceremony was ultimately held. Marie offered us wonderful music suggestions for the ceremony and the music sounded great. She selected the music for hospitality and cocktail hour and the guests all enjoyed everything. She played an array of music which was enjoyed by all guests as well as us. I would definitely recommend her and her crew for your next affair.

I booked our ceremony music with Marie a year prior to our wedding and I can't say enough about her great communication and how helpful she was in selecting our music.
I had a string trio for the ceremony and it sounded amazing. Marie and her staff played modern music while my guests were being seated and played traditional music for the actual ceremony.
All of my guests loved the music and it definitly added so much to my ceremony to have a live string trio. It was very, very romantic!
