She launched her professional career at MAC Cosmetics at 18, then took her skills to the next level by apprenticing with Summerita, the founder of MASQ Beauty. Summerita’s innovative approach and expertise in the beauty industry were a huge influence on Mary’s career. With her esthetician’s license and mastery in eyebrow and lash lift techniques, Mary now shines as both a skilled practitioner and a dedicated teacher to her graduating apprentice, Adrianna. Mary is an amazing and talented makeup artist and I am so lucky to have found her. From a bridal trial to party looks and wedding makeup, she kills it everytime. MASQ Beauty is truly the one and only place I will ever go to for both eyebrows and makeup application. The whole team there is great. They are so professional and extremely clean. All makeup artists there are great, I specifically go to Mary who is amazing, her makeup jobs never disappoint, especially on my wedding day. I always leave there happy.

Best in the MUA game! Mary did my makeup for every important event during my wedding process from my engagement photos, bachelorette party, rehersal dinner, to the wedding day. My makeup was immaculate and lasted 12+ hours. I truly felt my most beautiful. In addition to her talent she is also very friendly and reliable. I was so pleased with the service and most defenitely recommended her for your special day!

I recently had the pleasure of having my bridal makeup done by Mary Qarana at Masq Beauty and I cannot express how thrilled I am with the results! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely flawless. Mary is not only incredibly talented but also so personable and easy to work with. She listened attentively to my preferences and concerns, and even allowed me to do multiple trials to try different makeup styles to make sure that my final look was exactly what I had envisioned for my special day. The makeup lasted flawlessly throughout the entire event, and Mary even came to my reception venue to do touch ups before we took photos. I highly recommend Mary Qarana at Masq Beauty for any bride-to-be. Her professionalism, skill, and attention to detail are truly unmatched. Five stars all the way!

Truly one of the best salons!!! I’ve been coming here for the last year for waxing my eyebrows and makeup. I came here for my bridal makeup the day of my wedding and for other past events and I have never walked out disappointed with my makeup. I highly recommend coming here.

MASQ beauty is hands down the best make-up studio in the metro Detroit area. I've had them do my eyebrows and makeup for numerous events but most importantly for my wedding! I got so many compliments from everyone saying this is the best bridal makeup they have ever seen. Mary was able to bring out my best features and cover my blemishes without over powering my face with pounds of product. She listened to what I wanted at my bridal trial and it came out even better on the day of. My makeup lasted the entire night (even through crowd surfing) and the only thing I had to touch up was my lipstick after eating. The whole staff is very kind, welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend MASQ beauty to anyone looking to get their makeup professionally done.
