Uptempo Horn Band Keeps the Party Going
The best part of our wedding party was the band!!! I can't count on one hand how many people came up to ask me who the band was and how we found them. The didn't play lame wedding songs, they were energetic, and just so much fun. Seriously, if you don't have a band yet, stop here and book mass confusion. You will not be disappointed!
Mass-Conn-Fusion was the absolute best decision we made for our August wedding!! We knew we wanted to prioritize live music over some of the other wedding expenses, so we wanted to be very sure we chose the best band for the job. We live out of state so it was tricky to find a band from afar, but we sent my parents to scout around for us and they gave their whole hearted recommendation to go with Mass-Conn-Fusion after seeing them play a local show.
We ended up going with the full band, and it was incredible! They learned a few songs for us, including the music for our first dance, and they played with full energy all night long. It was a hot night in August, and the building didn't have air conditioning, but despite the heat and humidity they didn't slow down a bit. Everyone stayed up and dancing, and we are STILL getting compliments about how fun and memorable the band was. It was truly an epic performance, and we will definitely plan to go see Mass-Conn-Fusion play again next time we're in the area!

Hailing from both sides of the Massachusetts-Connecticut border, Mass-Conn-Fusion is a seven-piece wedding band based in South Windsor, CT. Their infectious melodies and on-stage presence are sure to get the party started.
Since the 1980s, this band has provided musical entertainment that gets crowds having fun. The band features vibrant vocalists, a horn section with a saxophone and trumpet, and a funky rhythm section composed of guitar, bass, and drums. Mass-Conn-Fusion manages to combine exciting sound with soulful performances.
They wear many musical hats, meaning that they can harken back to Ol’ Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra, as easily as they can play Maroon 5. R&B, funk, pop, disco, and Motown are among the many genres they can play. These talented folks arrive with sound equipment, microphones, and lighting, so you can rest assured that your party is in good hands. Mass-Conn-Fusion, of course, can play at your ceremony and reception, as well as the rehearsal dinner the night before, but offer an additional service. Their duo playing the saxophone and upright bass can pluck out your favorite tunes during the cocktail hour, completing the elegant and engaging atmosphere of your day. They’re happy to have music playing during their breaks and travel to your venue. Mass-Conn-Fusion's absorbing performances will knock your guests off their feet and keep the party going long into the night.

Owner
Jim started the band in 1980 at the University of Connecticut Music Department. It was first called Conn-Fusion. After playing extensively on Cape Cod and adding musicians from Massachusetts, Jim changed the name to Mass-Conn-Fusion. The band has been playing throughout New England ever since.
