He worked with me on price, and was very fair to us, even though the predicament we were in was no fault of his own. He was so quick to respond, soooo friendly and reassuring that everything was going to be ok and that we were in good hands! Within a couple hours of speaking to him, I was relaxed and knew my wedding was going to be done professionally. He was so accommodating the entire night and went far beyond being just a DJ, he made sure me and my groom had everything we needed and helped the wedding reception flow perfectly! Michael Lopez, our DJ from this business, was helpful throughout the process and went above and beyond for our special day. We had a lot of last minute changes for our day due to COVID and Michael was very flexible and was able to support new needs that we hadn't had before such as lapel mics and speakers for an outdoor ceremony (we previously were going to get married in our church before restrictions occurred and weren't going to need DJ services until our reception). Additionally, Michael did an amazing job at keeping the party going perfectly. He read the room really well and was able to support all the requests our guests had. Master Mixx made the night incredible, and I couldn't imagine it with out them! I would highly recommend this DJ service for any event! 10 out 10!

g, we sent him all of our songs as he requested. He rarely responded to any of our emails. On the day of the wedding, ten minutes before the ceremony started, I was getting ready in the bridal room. Two people we had never met before or communicated with came in and said they would be DJing for us that day. When I asked where Michael was, they only said he wouldn't be coming. Then, they said they didn't have all of our songs and asked me what they were. Because I was nervously preparing for the ceremony, I didn't even remember. Thank goodness my mom was there. I found out later that he didn't have the music to my dad's song he was going to sing to me that night. My dad had talked to Michael multiple times on the phone to prepare him for the surprise song. These new DJs had no idea about it. After the ceremony, I had to queue him to play the recessional music. During the reception, neither of them said much. Luckily, we had some really fun guests that got the party going. During the father daughter dance, the music cut out in the middle. One of my bridesmaids had to go ask them twice to replay it later that night so we could have our special dance. We had a photo booth and we never received the photos. My husband and I understand that things come up. We just wish we had gotten a heads-up before or even an explanation after. The wedding was on March 9th and we still haven't heard from Michael. We also wish that he had at least forwarded on the information we had given to him so that the new DJs knew what to do so they didn't have to ask a nervous bride ten minutes before the ceremony.

Mind you, we had almost a two year engagment, so we booked with Master Mixx really early, but I am glad that we did. After we booked, we got to see him in action at a quinceanera and he was amazing! He knew what music to play and how to read a crowd to get them moving. As for our wedding, he was so on top of everything. He was constantly in contact with not only us, but also with our venue. I loved that part because it made me feel calm and it showed that he cared for our wedding just as much as we did. On the day of the wedding, he played every song we wanted for the ceremony and he would have played for cocktail hour too, but we hired a Mariachi band. However, as soon as it was over, he jumped right into playing the music we requested. He played music we wanted and he made sure to not play songs that we did not want. As mentioned before, if you want someone who knows how to read a room, hire Master Mixx! As soon as the party music started after dinner, people started to dance and he just kept that mood going through the whole night. One of our guests said they were so surprised how many people were dancing and stayed dancing! People kept saying how they loved the music choices and the up lighting that was done. Not only that, but Michael would check up on my husband and I to make sure we were having a good time throughout the night. He made our fairytale day so special and I will forever be thankful. My biggest fear while planning was that people would not dance, but I should have never been worried to begin with. We also had surprise fireworks and Michael is the one who came up with the idea to start a conga line to get everyone outside...and it WORKED! We were actually lost as to how we were going to get all 180 people outside and thankfully he knew what to do. He was also excellent at announcing our other surprise, a taco bar for a late night snack! If you want to make sure that everybody is up and dancing and you want somebody who cares for your wedding just as much as you do, hire Master Mixx! Our venue is also planning to add them to their recommended venue list!

For the weird go these guys handled everything with an air of professionalism that left my wife and I confident that everything was being handled. They listened to our needs and got as excited - if not moreso - than we were about our own wedding. During and after our ceremony, people talked to us about how beautiful it and the music was. The reception was so much fun for all of our guests that I had to extend the venue time for an hour. Everyone was having such a good time that guests asked about extending things out another hour beyond that! So to summarize: Conversations and ownership of the experience? We also purchased the "dancing on a cloud" feature which was STUNNING and something our guest are still raving about! Also we had the mirror photo booth and the unlimited prints for our guest, served as personalized keepsake favors! I am over the moon happy the way these guys performed they are superb , promise you won't be disappointed!
