He was open and communicative with us at every point of the process (even when we were at the height of wedding planning stress) and truly did everything he could to help our reception be what we wanted it to be. I've had several people tell me how much fun they had at the reception and how much they enjoyed the music. Over the past few years we've noticed the DJ at receptions trying to make the reception all about how funny/loud they are, which really isn't why we're there....Kenny Sauter was the perfect DJ - his announcements were on point, his music choices were great and they reflected exactly what the bride and groom requested, and I'm not sure how he did this but the volume level was perfect - I wasn't screaming in my guests' ears to speak to them or waiting until the song was over to finish a conversation. Kenny also took time to speak to the bride and groom a couple days before the wedding to go over the details again and to get the correct pronunciations of the entire bridal party (which was an extra step that I appreciated). We would definitely recommend Masters of Music/Kenny Sauter for any event you're planning!

Kenny Sauter at Masters of Music. I was given the job of finding THE best DJ for my daughter's downtown Louisville wedding, and Kenny is it. We had prior phone conversations so that he understood all our wants and needs. The bride and groom made a long playlist that they wanted played, and he followed it to a tee, but I will say he also magically knew how to arrange the songs so that there was an energy that built and built and never disappointed. At one point, I looked out and only saw 2 humans not dancing! This is the experienced and classy DJ who will totally do your bidding, but also weave in his own magic, to make the night seem like a perfect fairytale fun wedding reception! He has the experience of many years of reading a crowd, knowing how to make the songs blend just right, one after another, to keep all the dancers on the floor! This is key! We had a blast. As mother of the bride, I'm afraid I may have neglected my duties, because I was having so much fun dancing, I couldn't pull myself off the dance floor! Everyone had fun, from Grandma's and Grandpa's on down. What a memorable night! The music was, honestly, perfect!!! Everyone was pleased, and so happy, from old to young. Who can ask for anything more?

As a mom, I wanted things to be perfect for my daughter, and I am a perfectionist at heart..Kenny is a kind, considerate, courteous person, organized, pays attention to every detail, and professional. Kenny goes over the flow of the day at the pre-wedding meeting, discussing the up- light colors, music styles, and overall tone of the wedding, and the day was specifically customized to our liking..absolutely perfectly. I knew I liked him from the start when he got out his wedding checklist to go over with us. Kenny went over everything with us: colors, song genres, songs the bride and groom liked, as well as music genres that we didn’t want played. We had several changes and bumps in the road leading up to our reception due to COVID restrictions changing several times. 2 days before our wedding we had to completely re-plan our reception. Kenny was our first call when we found out and he was nothing but sympathetic and ready to make our day flow smoothly no matter what. At one point in our reception I was starting to get nervous that things weren't happening when they were supposed to or that I needed to jump into action. Kenny calmly and genially assured me that he had everything under control and my job was to be present and enjoy celebrating our brand new marriage.
