Mastro’s Steakhouse Costa Mesa

lly surprised by the beautiful minimalist outdoor space and the great ambiance and service at the restaurant, we were pretty much convinced it was the perfect place for us to get married. Shashona (the Director of Events) was very helpful and accommodating to our needs and her advice and recommendations throughout the wedding process took a huge load off my shoulders. The Noguchi Sculpture Garden (or California Scenario) is a great hidden gem in Costa Mesa, and I loved being able to have our ceremony in such a unique and beautiful setting. Also, this pretty much goes without saying but the food at Mastro's is absolutely amazing - I had multiple guests tell me after (and during) the wedding that we had the best food of any wedding they had ever attended. Both our ceremony and reception turned out great and we were so happy to be able to host our big day in such a beautiful place.

the ceremony at Noguchi Garden next to it which is arranged by Mastro's, but due to rainy and windy weather, had to change plans last minute. Shashona and my wedding planner (Natalie Goode of A Good Affair) arranged, decorated, and made all the necessary arrangements to move it onto Mastro's Terrace on the second floor all in 24 hours. The service was impeccable and the food delicious as always. People may think Mastro's is an expensive restaurant and would not think to have a reception for 90, but it was cheaper than many of the hotels that we looked into (and guaranteed that the food would be great). The most important thing in the wedding for me was having delicious food...ever been to a wedding where the food was BLECK! I had lots of compliments that this was the best wedding dinner they had ever had. I had such a GREAT time, and the ceremony area was gorgeous despite all the last minute planning. I would highly recommend this venue.
