tastic to work with. From the moment we reached out to him, he was responsive, welcoming, and helpful. He took time to get to know as a couple and understand what we wanted out of our photos. For the engagement shoot, he created a relaxed environment while still offering coaching/prompts when needed for photos. For wedding photos, he helped us create a schedule for the day that made sense, was efficient getting through photos, and really blended into the ceremony and reception itself...we hardly noticed he was there. Mat is really great at capturing moments and staying away from too much "posing." Our favorite photos so far have been those we didn't know he was taking. He is friendly and relaxed, while maintaining professionalism. It was clear he takes his work seriously and cares about the people he is photographing but was really able to balance "getting the shot" with ensuring he connected with us as a couple. If you are looking for a photographer that will put the time in to really personalize your experience and capture all the "in between moments" we highly recommend Mat.

We’ve never taken professional pictures before, but he made us feel so comfortable like we’ve been friends for so long! :) His work is absolutely amazing!!! Hands down! He does beautiful editing, has a great eye for the perfect shot, and his pictures tell the story of your special day rather than pose after pose and that’s something we really loved. od. He bounced around between us women and the men for a few hours and honestly, it felt like he was just as precious to the wedding as we were. He melded into the groups and people flawlessly (almost to the point that I forgot he was there until the next scheduled photo). He made sure Preston and I had moments to ourselves and we're so grateful. We've found our photographer for all life events. Thank you Mat!!

ut Colorado skiing, we found Mat and asked if by chance he was available to take our engagement pictures (we had already chosen a wedding photographer in GA). We wanted a brewery, snow and mountains and boyyyy did he deliver. He and his amazing wife Jenny (A+ assistant for the day) even scouted out both the brewery and the park where we would be taking pictures a couple of weeks before we got there. They drove us from Denver to Boulder (a 40 min drive) and spent an entire afternoon/evening with us, as we stayed there so get some dreamy sunset pictures. He was incredibly professional, creative, and delivered absolutely gorgeous pictures back to us. I really wish I could attach some of the amazing shots he got! I would rehire Mat in a heartbeat - he and Jenny were a joy to be around all day and I would absolutely trust him to capture all of our precious wedding-day moments.

grapher, but he was also SUCH a pleasure to have at the wedding - multiple relatives commented on what a genuine, patient and warm person he was. Mat did so much research checking out the venue weeks in advance and learning all the best vantage points and lighting situations to take our portraits before the wedding. He learned all of my relatives names and stayed later than we communicated to take photos of various family and friend groups at the end of the night. We had very few directions for him - we just wanted him to follow his artistic instincts. He completely delivered on that. We were so impressed with his thoroughness, attention to detail and creativity. We love our photos and will cherish these pictures forever! Mat was the best vendor decision we made for the entire wedding, and I could not recommend him enough to anyone/everyone as your photographer for a special day. You'll be in great hands!!
