Matchmaker was extremely professional and provided outstanding music for our wedding event. Throughout the planning they were responsive and flexible, allowing us to make many changes as the plan evolved. From the first chord through to the last rambunctious song of the evening, the music and musicians exceeded expectations, and the sound technician was excellent to work with. A wonderful and unanticipated maneuver was a SEAMLESS transition between Gone to Texas country band, and Matchmaker. It kept the energy high and the dance-floor overflowing. We were afraid of losing guests during transitions, but they were so smooth that we didn’t lose one. Despite rain at our event everyone involved played and performed in a very professional manner. Our high expectations were not only met, but exceeded!

Fabulous from first contact to end of night! They also played at my older son’s wedding 5 years ago. Professional, great sound, entertaining, easy to work with. Highly recommend for any occassion!

We spent about a year telling all of our friends and family how good Matchmaker was and how excited we were for them, and they did NOT disappoint on the big day. They are truly so talented and know how to get and keep people on the dance floor the whole night. They bring so much energy to the room and know how to engage the crowd and I can't count how many people kept telling us how good the band was. My uncle said "Whatever you paid that band, it wasn't enough". They were a key part of making our wedding a party and we were so thrilled to have them for our day. There wasn’t a guest I spoke to who did not say - that was the best wedding band I’ve ever heard. You guys put together the best celebration and they were a highlight. Lived up to all top ratings and reviews. My family wants to find their rehearsal spot and company wants them for Christmas party. If you have Ma Maison as the venue, it was like a perfect private concert.

The PDA/Matchmaker Band is outstanding. They were the easiest part of our wedding planning, the most value for our money, and the part of our wedding that our entire family and friends keep raving about, even after the wedding. They all have complete star power. They asked the bare minimum of questions (a very key factor when there is so much to think about and plan), yet they over-delivered a full concert for our wedding. Coordinated dance moves with amazing engagement. They are a diverse group and have fun takes on all the different songs. They were awesome. They took every bit of our top playlist, and the bottom "don't play" and mixed in songs that we couldn't have begun to ask for but definitely wanted. Our family plans on finding them at any other event/ gig that we can in the future.

This group and band is amazing!! We hired Matchmaker to play at our wedding after listening to them at another venue in town. They are so talented and professional - and they have their performance down to a science. You will love it and your guests will love it. Its worth going to one of their shows - you only need to see them once to understand how and why they are so good. I also want to call out that they are equally as organized and professional in the background. As anyone planning a wedding or an event learns, communication is important. PDA band was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I would rate 10 stars if I could. I knew the second I watched their preview video that this would be a fun band that would keep everyone on the dance floor. Then, I read their reviews and everyone was RAVING about how fun they were. PDA was everything I had hoped!! The entire dance floor was filled the full night and overflowing with people. We got so much feedback from guests that they have never seen a dance floor that packed for the entire reception. PDA is so engaging, high energy, and has the best choreography. It was one of my top priorities to have the reception be a total party, so band was high on my list. It was single handedly probably my best decision to book PDA. If you are thinking about booking PDA, DO IT. You and your guests will have the time of your life and your guests will rave about how fun the dance floor was!

PDA were the perfect band for our wedding day and we can't recommend them enough! For starters - the communication from the beginning was excellent. The different options they offer were clear and we had no problem selecting exactly what we wanted. From there, they got a sense of our taste by asking for "must play" and "absolutely do not play" songs to use as a starting point to craft their setlist. Day of they were professional, punctual, and really set the tone for what was an unforgettable evening. Our friends were dancing on their chairs before dinner had even ended. It's been a month and a half and they're still talking about how great the band was at our wedding.

If you are looking for a high energy reception, this is the band you want to hire! I was very pleased with my experience and my guests were very impressed with the level of entertainment provided. Matchmaker was incredible to work with and truly the most talked about aspect of our wedding. They had the BEST energy throughout the night and knew exactly what guests wanted to hear. I can't recommend them enough. Plus, it was so easy to work with them throughout the planning process - they were responsive, timely, and easygoing. 10/10 recommend them!

Matchmaker did everything to make this the most amazing day for us. first of all the sign up process is super streamlined and was easy to add on more products like a string trio. Amos, Drew and Olivia were so responsive about any questions and requests. Next was the music selection which they give you a list and you pick 10 must plays and 10 do not plays, and they take that and run with it to create the perfect playlist. we also provided first dance, mother son and father daughter dances along with any other details we felt like including like a special request for an intro song. the day of was seamless and they came in and set everything up. our main hope was that everyone would be out on the dance floor by the end of the night and that was certainly the case with match maker playing. They started off the dinner set playing some great motown classics to ease into the night and with each set they started to play more and more songs to get people moving and shaking. Ultimately reaching a crescendo toward the end of the night with everyone screaming Backstreets back at the top of there lungs (the crowd was mostly 80's and 90's babies). they were so attentive, interactive with the crowd and really just knew what was needed for everyone to have a blast. Highlights: they pulled us up on stage(not planned) to sing one of our requested songs(you don't have to go up there if you don't want, but we were all about it), the soul train dance line that one of the singers initiated. Proud Mary being played where everyone was in a full on dance circle. couldn't recommend them more!

We’ve seen PDA perform at local bars in the past and they’re always great but wow, they took it to another level for our wedding. It was 90+ degrees and people were hot but every single person at our wedding was on the dance floor all night long! The number one compliment we received from our guests the next morning was that the band was the BEST wedding band they’ve ever seen.

We had the Matchmaker band for our wedding in July and they absolutely killed it. Leading up to the day, Amos, Drew, and team were consummate professionals answering all our emails and being available to us when we wanted to talk things over on the phone. We even asked for a special tribute song before dinner and they did an incredible job. Finally the actual set - Their energy and talent was absolutely off the charts. Can't thank them enough for the incredible evening which could not have been possible without them!

They had everyone of all ages on the floor dancing and singing all night long. They are each so talented. They bring the whole package with them, even lights. I highly recommend them .

The Matchmaker Band was so easy to work with and they did an AMAZING job at our wedding! We have gotten so much great feedback from our guests about the band! They adjusted their song list to fit our preferences and used our playlist to DJ from during the band breaks. The band noticed that our guests enjoyed certain songs during the reception and changed their song list as the night continued to keep people on the dance floor. There are no words to describe how incredibly perfect our experience was with Matchmaker Band for our wedding day in Horseshoe Bay! The communication leading up to the event was amazing, they catered to our song list flawlessly, and delivered a performance unlike any other. They even let the father of the bride, who plays bass guitar, perform with the band for a song! The dance floor was absolutely buzzing all night long and our friends and family continue to talk about how this is the best wedding band they’ve ever seen! And those vocals? UNREAL!!! PDA Band is the best wedding band out there. They rocked from start to finish and MC'd the night perfectly. Our vision was to have a big dance party where no one left the dance floor and that mission was easily accomplished. We had several people dancing during the dinner set and the whole crowd up for both of the dance sets. Everyone even stayed out on the floor for the intermission while PDA played a playlist we created for them. I even saw some of the band grabbing some photos/video as all the guests sang along with bohemian rhapsody during the intermission! The band absolutely fed off the crowd and vice versa, the energy in the room was intoxicating. 8 months later and I still have people telling me PDA Band was the best band they have ever seen at a wedding and likely will ever see at a wedding. From the rotating singers, to the horns section, to the second line exit and the snazzy sequin tuxedos, nothing disappointed! Hire PDA Band and have a night neither you nor your guests will ever forget!

When I tell you PDA saved my wedding, I am not kidding or exaggerating. My original band that I had hired canceled on my 50 days before my wedding and I frantically started reaching out to every band in Austin to see if they were available for my popular wedding date knowing no one would be.. within MINUTES of me filling out PDA’s contact form, their manager called me and told me that some how, PDA was available. They were even better to me on those short 50 days than my original band was for over 12 months. They’re booking process was so easy- similar to ordering a meal on an app haha. You can easily just click through a list to add anything you want to your day. A jazz trio, ceremony music, horn section. You don’t have to ask for any of it, all of the pricing is right there and you just add it if you want. They knew all the questions to ask. Day of- I can’t even explain how good they were. I was told multiple times it was like a concert and they were the best band they’ve ever seen. FUN songs full of energy and HYPE. Not just typical classic wedding songs. The band even stayed and came to party with us at my after party. Let me get on stage and quite literally rip the mic from their hands to rap my favorite lizzo song. They were iconic. They are worth the money and they will completely change your wedding from a typical wedding to the best wedding anyone has ever been to. Hire them and you will not regret it.

Music was one of the top 3 most important elements of my wedding and with this as a priority, we had no choice but to reach out to one of our favorite bands in the Austin area. What a terrific evening as Matchmaker provided the live jazz music during dinner hour, then on to the full band for the reception music. The band is fun, engaging, and talented - our guests had so much fun as we danced the night away! The New Orleans style second line which led the way for our departure was a highlight of the wedding celebration. Family and friends raved about the band for months afterward.

Don't walk, RUN to book Matchmaker Band!!! We hired them for a jazz dinner set + 2 dance sets and they did not disappoint! The jazz set was groovy and perfect for a mingling dinner. The band could not have been more helpful and easy to work with along the way. We had quite a few special requests -- the band played with my MOH who sung during our first dance song, provided all sound equipment for our ceremony musician and officiant, and all of the equipment for our friend to late-night DJ. We had so many guests ask about the band after the event wanting to book them. Best night of our lives, THANK YOU Matchmaker!

The band was my daughter's number one priority! We hired Matchmaker without hearing them live, so we were a little nervous! We watched YouTube videos and thought they were good. Well their performance at our wedding exceeded our expectations! They were AMAZING! They engaged the crowd and played all the songs we requested! I first saw them live at a friends weddings (loved em!); then at another friends wedding (loved em more!), and when it came time to plan my own wedding - well, it was pretty obvious who I would choose. It brought joy to my heart knowing that all my guests were enjoying the party just as much as I was. Marriage is a celebration and there is no better way to celebrate than with an extremely talented and lively band and lots of dancing and singing.

When the pandemic hit and we had to change our son’s wedding date, we chose a date that this band could accommodate because we wanted them so badly! We’ve since had the wedding and the band was the big hit that we knew they would be. Everything about working with them was a dream!

The Matchmakers are INCREDIBLE! We feel so lucky that we were able to have them play at our wedding. We were originally planning a 200+ person wedding, but pared down to a 50 person, mostly family wedding instead due to covid19. The Matchmakers DELIVERED. We anticipated playing mostly dinner music given the smaller guest count, but they read the room and pivoted to dance music by the end of the night, and we had the time of our lives! All of our guests were raving about the Matchmakers the rest of the weekend. They are the most talented. Look no further if you're in search of the perfect wedding band, regardless of your guest count. We would 100 percent recommend!

Holy cow, Matchmaker are incredible. We hired them for a 200 person party of a wedding and then... Covid. Somehow, they managed to bring that same spirit to our 19 person minimony. I was worried that having a live band for a tiny group of our immediate family who were masked and socially distanced would be weird, depressing, and the opposite of fun, but man did Matchmaker deliver! All our guests were raving about the band all night and everyone was having so much fun dancing (despite masks, distancing, and 100 degree heat) that we extended our dancing time. Matchmaker was extremely professional and easy to work with. They were on top of everything, lovely in every interaction, and flexible with adjusting around Covid. They figured out a new band construction that would be appropriate for a smaller wedding and revised the song list and approach to be just right for the wedding we had. The performers (from the cocktail hour / dinner jazz trio to the full band for dancing) were unbelievably talented. They were some of the best musicians I've ever heard perform and brought so much energy and enthusiasm to our event. If you are thinking of having a band at your wedding, please do yourself a favor and hire Matchmaker. They are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. If you're able to invest, you will be so happy you did!

We had been checking out a few wedding bands when a friend recommended we check out Matchmaker where they play every Monday night at the Highball. We went, and could hear them through the walls halfway across the parking lot, so we knew before we even got in that they were the real deal. They have a following of regulars who go every week just to dance to Matchmaker! They are all really professional musicians and a cut above the rest of the wedding bands we heard. When we had to postpone our 3/21/20 wedding due to COVID, they were so flexible and easy to work with in rescheduling. When we finally had our wedding on 10/4/20, it was a much smaller crowd, but even at the end of the night when there were only 5 or 6 of us on the dance floor, they kept the party rocking as if there were 500 or 600 people. I cannot say enough amazing things about Matchmaker, and can't wait until they're back at the Highball! If you want to give your guests a rocking party, look no further!

The very first comment we heard from EVERY guest about our wedding was how amazing Matchmaker was. I echo every 5-star review - they are more than worth the budget allocation. Professional, FUN, extremely talented and clearly very passionate about what they do. We utilized them for our ceremony (piano music, so beautiful and brought me to tears) , jazz trio set during our cocktail hour (SO FUN and fancy and set the mood) , and of course the full 10-piece band during our reception. People were swaying in their seats and singing along even during their dinner set, and the dance floor stayed packed the rest of the night. They MC-ed the whole evening and made it seamless. The DJ during set breaks was awesome. One of the groomsman has a wedding coming up and grabbed their card. SERIOUSLY, BOOK THIS BAND!!!

Matchmaker is far and away the best band in Austin!!! Amos, Jerry and Drew were so easy to work with on song choice and creating a custom feel between cocktails, dinner, and the party. The band blew all of our 120 guests away -- every vocalist created a special vibe and feel that kept the crowd dancing. I can not recommend them enough! Book them now!

The Matchmaker Band absolutely blew us away. Our guests RAVED about them, and they kept our dance floor packed the entire night. If you want a memorable wedding, look no further - this is your band. We had at least thirty guests tell us this was the most fun reception they had ever been to. We were so thrilled with their performance and our decision to book them; they made the night.

Matchmaker was incredible! The load-in and tech crew were thorough, timely, and constantly tweaking to make sure they were delivering the best quality possible. The band was perfection! I have no other word for it. We had really high expectations after an outstanding experience 6 months ago at our son's wedding (with a different band), and were nervous that we could not meet that high bar; Matchmaker did not disappoint! From the dinner set to last song, they provided a sound track that continues to conjure up amazing memories. They were energetic, engaged, flexible, fun, and above all sounded AMAZING!

Matchmaker Band is Awesome and one of the best bands I have heard. They are energetic , fabulous singers and musicians and we danced all night! They really know how to get a crowd going. They are on the pricier side compared to others in the area but their talent and musicians speak for itself. They have an extensive song list and genres and very easy to work with and very communicative. They will not disappoint!

Hands down the best band in Austin or the surrounding area. They played our wedding over a week ago and my family is still saying their feet are sore because matchmaker kept them dancing all night long. They learned three songs for our wedding night and they were played to perfection. Jerry was in close contact and was super helpful in the planning of our special night. I cannot day enough good things about these guys. AMAZING!!!!!

The Matchmaker Band was awesome! My wedding planner highly recommended them and after checking them out in Austin, I was sold. They have great energy and their sound is flawless! The night of our wedding they knocked it out of the park. All of our guests commented on how awesome the band was and we had tons of fun dancing with them. I highly recommend the Matchmaker Band!

Where to begin... Matchmaker was out of this world amazing!! We looked at 12-15 bands before finding Matchmaker and NO ONE compares to them!!! Each band member is extremely talented, engaging with the guests, and SO much fun!!! There were people telling me they would have PAID to be at our wedding because they are that good. Jerry and Amos were my main contacts and they were unbelievable to work with. They made our wedding everything we could had hoped for and more!

Besides actually getting married, Matchmaker Band was the total highlight of our wedding day. They are so talented and every single guest at our wedding spent the whole night dancing - I'm still getting comments from friends and family five months after our wedding about how fabulous they were. This band is fire! Being a professional touring couple ourselves, my wife and I had high expectations for the live music portion of our wedding. We had seen Matchmaker at a few events in Austin and already loved them as performers and musicians. Having them at our wedding was a dream. Super pro, prepared, flexible, friendly and most importantly FUN. I think the whole party collectively wished we could have dance all night with them. Unequivocally one of the best wedding (or any event) bands out there today. Do yourself a favor and hire them immediately!

MATCHMAKER BAND was absolutely the VERY BEST and came VERY, VERY highly recommended by our awesome wedding planners, TRES EVENTS, and we took their recommendation and went to listen to them at Highball and knew immediately they would be the perfect BAND for my daughter's wedding. They were so cordial when we met them and immediately followed up on my email and were so thrilled to play for our daughter's New Year's wedding. From the moment they played "Dance with Somebody" for the "first dance" to "Shout" for the very last song the entire dance floor was packed all night long!!!! It was truly a FABULOUS night for all of our guests. Our venue was the absolute BEST that began when we chose our awesome wedding planners, BROCK & CO. that soon merged to become TRES EVENTS, to the FABULOUS MATCHMAKER BAND to Renee with the awesome FOUR SEASONS and their amazing staff who prepared a delicious dinner to our fabulous singers with COURTNEY SANTANA and the BARTON STRINGS QUARTETTE for the beautiful ceremony at SMITH FAMILY CHAPEL to PAMELA HULTS PHOTOGRAPHY to Diane and Gary with CRESCENT FILMS to the most delicious wedding and groom's cake ever from Judy Lee of SIMON LEE BAKERY, to the sketch artist VOGUE VIGNETTE and balloon artist KIWI'S PARTY to our great hair stylist CAROLYN TAYLOR HOLDEN and fabulous make up artist DONNA BRUNS who had all of us looking so beautiful to our transportation with UPTOWN VALET. Every single vendor that TRES EVENTS had for our amazing wedding was the very BEST and Becky, Kacy, Kat and Wendee who magically transformed the ballroom with gorgeous flowers and a fabulous balloon backdrop ALL worked relentlessly with my daughter to create and orchestrate every single detail that she envisioned for her dream wedding. It was truly a FABULOUS wedding and our daughter and son-in-law and entire family were over the top HAPPY and we would love to relive it again with all of our dear friends. And the good news is that we now can with the awesome video we will have from CRESCENT FILMS and the fabulous pictures and album from PAMELA HULTS PHOTOGRAPHY. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to EVERYONE who was a part of making my daughter's "Black Tie and Sparkles" magical New Year's dream wedding come true!!!! I am One VERY, VERY HAPPY Mother of the Bride and my husband is One VERY PROUD and ELATED Father of the Bride!!! And if this was not our last of 4 weddings, we would do it all over again EXACTLY the SAME!!!!
