Matina's Bridal

I found the most absolutely perfect gown with the help of Julie and her staff. I am absolutely in love with my wedding gown from Matina’s! I love looking back at all the pictures. It made my wedding day perfect.

The owner and her consultant are both amazing. I almost got a dress from this location. They were so helpful and allowed you to pick you own dresses. The owner also pulled two that she wanted me to try on. I loved both! One of them was the one I almost got. I highly recommend! This is a very intimate experience and allowed the moment to be very special. I only went with another dress because it was just what imagined myself getting married in since I started looking.

Matina's Bridal was such a beautiful shop! Although, I did not end up buying my dress there, I did have a great experience. The owner, Julie, made me feel welcomed and comfortable and had such much knowledge. I highly recommend making an appointment here if you are in need of a dress!

The owner of Matina's, Julie, is so great to work with. She was not my consultant, but stepped in to help throughout the appointment. She took pictures of the dresses on me and helped me Facetime my mom and maid of honor so they could get better views of my top choice. At Matina's you are allowed to look through the racks of dresses yourself and tell your consultant which ones you would like to try on. She will pull them for you and place them in the dressing room. This is a great option for brides who know what they want and are tired of consultants pulling dresses that they aren't interested in. There are many options of designer gowns and they offer some samples for purchase for time-conscious brides. Although I did not end up going with a dress from Matina's Bridal, I enjoyed my experience working with Julie.

I highly recommend Matina's Bridal. As an older bride, I felt somewhat hesitant about the entire wedding dress buying experience, but the staff at Matina's Bridal immediately put me at ease. The consultant who helped me was knowledgeable and patient. She understood my taste and picked numerous, gorgeous gowns for me to try on. Although I ended up deciding to wear my mom's wedding dress for sentimental reasons, I could easily and happily have worn any of the gowns I tried on at Matina's.

I loved my experience with Matina’s! I found my absolute dream dress with Bobbi, she was so sweet and helpful. Julie was always very nice whenever I was at the shop for my fittings and helpful with scheduling. Mira did an amazing job with all of the alterations. I would choose them over and over again and highly suggest you do, too!

This was the only place I went for a wedding dress because I knew I wanted a Hayley Paige dress. They had so many off the rack options which I needed since I planned my wedding in 3 months. Julie and the staff were so helpful. Would definitely recommend this place!

Bought Dress + Alterations + Hair pieces from Matina's My dress was so beautiful, looked so good, and fit so perfectly that my good friend said I should wear it everyday for the rest of my life! Matina's bridal was phenomenal. I bought my dress in Dec 2019/ Jan 2020. Julie and her staff were so friendly and helpful. They spent the time to find different dresses for me to try on. A lot of the samples fitted me weirdly, but the staff helped me envision the look of the dress if I were to had ordered the correct size and altered the dress. I ended up picking up a Lazaro ball gown sample dress on the sale rack and loved it. Because I had appointments at 2 other salons Julie held it for me, and after I visited those salons I went back and bought my dream dress! I never felt pressured to buy a dress from them, they were very understanding of me visiting other salons. If I hadn't found the Lazaro I think I still would've bought a dress from them, they definitely had the broadest and best selection of wedding dresses and the nicest staff. Post dress purchase: This is about when covid hit. It was touch and go with alterations and whether the wedding was going to happen (wedding was originally suppose to be 08/28/2020 but was postponed to 08/21/2021.) Julie stayed in communication the whole time and we started planning for alterations in spring of 2021. Because the dress was a ball room gown with about 10 layers of tulle and a long train it needed trimming on all of the layers and alterations of the straps (the sample fit was perfect so I didn't need alterations on the actual fitting of the waist or chest.) Mira was so amazing. Not only did she steadily trim the dress and check the length at multiple appointments to make sure it was right, she also made suggestions on adding cups to the dress which elevated the look. Mira was so easy to work with, you could tell she knew what she was doing. I'm extremely happy with my alterations. Matina's has a beautiful selection of accessories. I'm not into veils, so I didn't do that, but I did buy a set of hair pieces that worked perfectly with the style of my hair and dress. I bought it during an accessory sale weekend, so watch out for those ;) I am surprised anyone had a bad experience at this bridal salon, I thought they were the most personable, the most helpful, and the most friendly. The other salons seemed like a fake friendly and were kind of pushy. In the end, my dress came out perfect. I am so happy with my experience at this bridal shop and would definitely recommend :)

This was the third bridal shop I visited and I was struggling because I found a dress I loved elsewhere but it was way out of our budget. Thankfully, my mom & sister convinced to try one more shop and we did and I found the most perfect dress for my Outer banks beach wedding (and within budget!). Julie and Bobbi were so helpful, Bobbi pulled probably 10 or so dresses for me and I kept saying no until the last one, which I put on and started to tear up because it was so perfect! So, what I'm saying, is I got a lot of time and attention, which was wonderful. Additionally, they have a seamstress in house which was a HUGE plus for us as the other shops we had to find our own. The tailoring was amazing. We did I think 4 or 5 different fittings, each time the dress fitting me more perfectly. She also added straps which was a must have for me. I can't say enough kind things about the staff at Matina's. They really made the experience enjoyable, especially for someone like me who was extremely self conscious about the way I looked. I felt like 1 billion dollars on my wedding day... and my husband loved it too :)

First off I was call the day of my appointment and asked to cancel and reschedule to what worked best for them. The sales lady who “helped” me was very unfriendly. My matron of honor arrived a half hour early to just get a feel for the place. About 3mins before my appointment began the sales lady said to her “Where is she? Is she coming” in a very rudely manner. I walked thru the door exactly at my scheduled time. So I was not late. As soon as I walked through the door the sales lady seemed very put off that we were there. She asked for my likes and dislikes in dresses. I showed her some pictures and elaborated on all my likes. After that discussion we stood there in silence for what felt like five minutes until the sales lady finally said to us “well are you going to look?” We were all kind of baffled because we are waiting for her to make the first move and to start pulling out dresses for me since I just spent a great deal of time explaining what I was looking for. That was not the case, she did not help pull any dresses at all. From my experience going with the other brides along with one previous experience of my own, the sales ladies always go and start pulling dresses since they are very familiar with what they have. Basically the time I spent explaining my likes and dislikes was a total waste of time. There were also multiple times where the sales lady was speaking and my bridesmaids would state their opinion. The sales lady would respond to them very unprofessionally and rudely with remarks like: “you are not the bride” “I’m not speaking to you” “Are you the bride?” My matron of honor is very strong supporter of small businesses and new entrepreneurs. She even made a comment that she would never recommend this place to anyone. I found what could have been “the dress” But because of my experience at the store it made me not want to purchase from them. So my search continues. After posting this review on Facebook I got a message from the owner apologizing. Then she continued to request that I remove my review!

Matina's Bridal was one of the best choices I made during my wedding planning process. Not only did I find the most beautiful bridal gown, but Julie went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me. I had small civil ceremony during the pandemic and Julie made sure my dress was there, pressed and perfect. I will never be able to describe my gratitude for all her help, support, and cheer! I can't wait to keep working with the staff there as I prepare for my reception in December.

Julie is an absolute sweetheart! She was so helpful. I purchased my bridal veil from her. It looked absolutely stunning on the day of. Even if you have already purchased your bridal gown. Go visit Matina's, no one can beat their selection of Bridal veils or bridal jewelry. The Pageant by Toni Federici is breathtaking made with Swarovski Crystal. She will help you match up the fabric to your dress. Highly recommend stopping into this store!

Matina's is more than just a beautiful Bridal Shop, it is a place where beautiful people inside and out work to make you feel your absolute best on the best day of your life. I cannot say enough good things about Matina's. I am so beyond thankful that I found the gown that was completely made for me here and came out with new friends as well. Being from Youngstown I had already felt a connection, but then when finding the dress of my dreams with the help of EVERYONE in that shop made my experience THE BEST! They were so kind, helpful, and so easy to work with! My dress was altered MANY times and fit PERFECTLY on my special day! Not only did I get my dress here, but I got my bridesmaid dresses there as well! I couldn't see going anywhere else! I cannot say thank you enough to everyone in this shop for making me feel like the most beautiful bride and all of your kindness throughout the process! I would recommend Matina's 10000000 times over!

Really an amazing place to make such an important purchase. Julie, the owner, picks classic designs but also has variety which many of the stores we visited lacked. Mira is the best seamstress you can ask for. She has the talent to do anything you want and let’s you run the show when it comes to alterations. This is so important because ultimately you are the one that needs to feel it. Kelly is a wonderful saleswoman, she offers important opinions without taking away from yours. Also they have some decent sales throughout the year which really helps for bridesmaids and accessories!

All of the staff at Matina’s were very helpful throughout the entire process. From the first day finding the dress, to the dress fittings and alterations, and to the final pickup day, all of the employees were very positive and made the process run smoothly. Since I bought my dress early, I was also able to take advantage of their accessory sale and bought a custom veil and hairpiece. I was very impressed with the quality of everything I purchased! Additionally, my dress needed some major alterations for my height and I also received a bustle for the very long train. The alterations were done very well and a lot of work was done for the price I paid. I would highly recommend Matina’s to other brides.

Will forever regret getting my wedding dress and 12 HP bridesmaid dresses here. The staff is extremely rude and extremely disorganized (and if you check the reviews, that opinion is very consistent). Multiple of my bridesmaids were told they were not in my wedding party and were also told to choose wrong bridesmaid dress colors. I could really go on and on about my terrible experience- starting from the moment I purchased my dress to when I walked out and had to go search for a new seamstress a month before my wedding, but I will keep it short. Don't waste your time with a visit here.

Where do I begin? From the moment I walked into the store my experience with Matina's was nothing short of incredible. Julie continually went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy, stress-free, and looked exactly how I envisioned myself (& my 6 bridesmaids) on my wedding day. Mira made my dress fit like a glove and is a magician with a needle and thread. Everyone at Matina's is amazing, they're all so kind and genuinely cared about making sure I looked my best on the big day. I really struggled writing this review because there are not enough words to describe how grateful I am to Matina's and nothing that I could ever put into words could adequately describe the truly phenomenal experience I had. Truly the best of the best!

Working with Matina's turned out to be one the best decisions throughout my entire wedding process! I was unable to find the dress of my dreams on the racks in stores all across town and with a short six month engagement Matina's owner Julie knew we had to think creatively. We went through every dress in their store to find one with a strong base that we could build off of. I ordered extra fabric from the designer and Matina's seamstress Mira worked her incredible magic to redesign the existing dress that I purchased. Mira created a new back for my dress and used the existing beading to create a belt to complete my dress. I truly looked forward to every alterations appointment that I had with Mira. She kept me calm throughout the entire process and made it fun in a time that was beyond stressful. To say I am in love with my wedding dress is an understatement... I'm obsessed with it. A year after my wedding I still reminisce about wearing my gown, so much so that I put my dress on for my anniversary so that I could feel the magic of wearing it again. I can't say enough wonderful things about Matina's and their entire staff for helping me to feel like a princess on the biggest day of my life.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I took my family there to shop for MOB/MOG dresses. During our time, our consultant seemed completely disinterested, and I seemed to be the one doing the job for her (bouncing around between rooms, helping as much as I can). Their selection was extremely limited and pointed to a rack outside of the store because “that’s all they had”. While we were in there, there was a little group (including I’m assuming a co-worker) right in the middle of the salon, just complaining about everything. Worst environment ever. I’m so so happy that I went somewhere else to get my bridal gown. I apologized to my family and will never return.

Matina’s Bridal was the first and only place I needed to go! The 5th dress I tried on was the one! The staff was always so welcoming and accommodating! The dresses are each individual works of art and all stunningly beautiful! Brides go to Matina’s Bridal for your dress!

I was SO lucky that my mom introduced me to this amazing bridal salon. They had a unique and gorgeous selection of dresses. I live in NYC so I was convinced I would get my dress there, but thank God I didn't. They gave me so much personal attention. I only tried on seven dresses and picked one on that same day. Their seamstress was amazing and every fitting went smoothly. The owner even helped get the dress to the hotel the day before the wedding. People raved about my dress. Thank you Matina's!!

I am so happy with the experience I had with Matina’s. My dress fit me perfectly on my wedding day. When I went to pick it up, they packaged it and brought it out to my car for me. I’m so sad I don’t get to wear my dress again. Their selection of dresses is unlike any other. Thank you Matina’s!

What a beautiful selection of gowns!! Not only did I feel like they had every style I could ever hope to try, they have a knowledgeable and friendly staff who made the experience great! The owner, Julie, helped to guide me to things that would look great on me and made it super fun, too! The alterations were perfect, and I was thrilled with the overall look. Matina’s Bridal was by far the best experience I received while shopping for my wedding gown. (and bridesmaids!) From the customer service making me feel like family, to the high quality of gowns... The entire staff and dress selection at Matina”s is amazing!! The style and quality of the dresses is the BEST in the area! My daughter found her dress here and it was the first salon we visited and the first dress she tried on. Everyone went out of their way to help make the bride’s dream dress become a reality. We were treated professionally, yet as if we were family. There were no high pressure sales tactics. We left the store to look at other dresses since we had other appointments and wanted to make sure the dress was the “one.” My daughter and the rest of us could not help noticing the difference in the level of service and professionalism and dress quality at Matina”s compared to other salons. Matina”s was our measuring stick. My daughter called and let Matina’s know we were coming back to see the dress with my husband the next day. Julie, the owner made the dress happen for us and Mira is beyond masterful in her tailoring skills. We cannot say enough good things about Matina’s Bridal Salon staff or its fabulous dress selection!! Haute couture for sure!!!

What an amazing boutique store this is --- everyone at Matina's is exceptionally kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and they have the most gorgeous gowns. I made many modifications to my gown, and Julie and the team handled every single detail with the utmost patience, care, attention to detail, and professionalism, and it is hard to express how important that was to me. Mira, the tailor, is incredible --- her judgement, ability to see what is right for you, her impeccable work, and as a person --- I trusted her completely. From start to finish, Matina's took care of me and I cannot say how much I appreciated that. I could not recommend Matina's any more strongly!

I got my wedding gown from Matina’s and can’t say enough wonderful things about the lovely ladies that work there! From scheduling my appointment, shopping for THE dress, fittings and picking out my accessories, Julie was so incredible, kind and patient with me. Mira did my alterations and my dress fit perfectly! I purchased my jewelry, hair piece and veil there as well and couldn’t be happier! Matina's bridal was amazing from start to finish! They listened to me about what I wanted, and answered any questions that I had. They helped me pick out the perfect dress for my big day... it was so perfect, my mom started to get teary-eyed! Ms. Mira did an excellent job with alterations. When there was a last minute issue with my veil, they fixed the issue, and hand delivered the veil to my house! You couldn't ask for a more caring, experienced team. My mom had seen an ad with a beautiful dress in it a few weeks after my husband proposed. I wasn’t quite ready to start dress shopping yet, but we both knew it was going to be the dress to beat. We went to Matina’s and Julie and the consultants were so friendly & helpful. I didn’t feel like I was pushed to try on anything I wasn’t interested in or pressured to buy that day. I tried on two dresses and bought the first one. Even though the wedding was more than a year & a half away, I never fell out of love with that dress. Matina’s carried the most beautiful and unique dresses I’ve ever seen. It meant the world to be able to purchase my wedding dress from the same boutique my mother found her wedding dress almost 35 years ago.

Purchased my Marisa gown, Toni Federici Veil, belt, and earrings at Matina's. Was so impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the staff. We couldn't have been happier with the experience and I LOVED my look on my wedding day.

Absolutely amazing experience! I was overwhelmed and starting to get discouraged by the dress searching process when I found Matina's. I found many pretty dresses, but was looking for more of a variety. I walked into Matina's and instantly could tell that the quality of their gowns and the variety of styles was exactly what I was looking for. I picked out quite a few dresses that I was excited about, and they picked out a few for me to try on as well. Oddly enough the dress I ended up with was one that they picked out for me to try. I never would have thought to pick out the style of gown for myself. I instantly fell in love with it and didn't want to take it off. The experience after choosing the dress was even more enjoyable. Julie and Mira made me feel so comfortable and excited each time I came in for a fitting. Matina's seamstress Mira is a lovely woman with years of experience and she works wonders. I was sad to be done with my fittings by the end and I wish I could do it all over again! You won't be disappointed with Matina's!

I had a great experience finding my wedding dress at Matina's. Julie is wonderful and was on top of all of the important details from the moment I bought my dress to the moment I picked it up a few days before my wedding. The seamstress did a great job with alterations. I only needed to have my gown hemmed at the bottom, but she did it in two stages to ensure that it wasn't too short. Everyone who works at the store is helpful and friendly. They can provide great recommendations for other wedding related needs too. I would recommend Matina's to any bride shopping for a dress!

I bought my dress from Matina's and was so happy with it! They have a beautiful selection of dresses, and everyone there is so helpful. I didn't feel pressured to make a choice right away, which made the process much less stressful. Once I picked a dress, they helped me pick the most beautiful veil, and customized it exactly how I wanted it. Julie helped me along the way and was so great to work with. Also, their seamstress, Mira, did an awesome job! She was able to perfectly accommodate everything I requested, and the dress looked amazing. Ladies at Matina's bridal are absolutely amazing. From the first day of visiting there to saying yes to the dress then the alteration... They were all easy to work with especially their seamstress, Mira. Mira altered my dress just the way I wanted it!!! They have a great selection of unique dresses! I was so happy to find this place. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE HERE!!! I got both my dress and veil and had my alterations done here. From the moment I walked in to look for my dress to the moment I took my dress to get married - I was treated like a princess. The people here are amazing.

What an amazing experience I had working with Ms. Julie and Ms. Mira! After perusing for dresses that were what I had envisioned and not quite finding what I was looking for, Ms. Julie pulled one off the rack subtly suggested I try it on. Now I had been to many bridal boutiques and was thinking "here we go again", but nonetheless obliged. I hadn't quite understood when brides would say " you will know when its THE DRESS, until I experienced it firsthand. When I stepped into the mirror I knew instantly that it was the dress for me. Ms. Mira did an amazing job with the alternations and french bustle! To all the ladies at Matina's thank you for everything!

I had an amazing experience at Matina's. I had been to a few salons and had not found anything that I loved, but Julie was so patient with me while I tried on a TON of dresses and wavered for a while between two before I chose my dress. Mira's alterations were absolutely perfect and at my wedding my dress fit me like a glove. I am so grateful to both of them for helping me to find my perfect dress!

Julie and the rest of the ladies at Matina’s bridal were nothing short of fabulous. They made me feel so special and beautiful while trying on dresses. They were never pushy or in my face about the style / price of wedding dress I wanted. They were extremely helpful in guiding me towards the right silhouette and style I had envisioned. I had my dress altered here as well and it fit me like a glove! I had a great experience here and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for not only a wedding dress but a wedding dress shopping experience you will not forget!

This was my final of 3 bridal salons in a day and I was extremely disappointed. The consultant was cordial (at best) but seemed completely disinterested in assisting me; dress sample sizes were also consistently smaller than what I had experienced at previous salons which made it extremely difficult to picture what a dress would look like in my size (I'm a size 10 and sample dresses at previous salons had fit like a glove with full zip). The atmosphere overall was chaotic and overall vibe was cold and disinterested. Family with me were also confused by the bizarre nature of the consultants behavior and the feeling exuded at the salon. I'm thankful I had wonderful experiences at 2 other salons earlier in the day so overall the day was a success!

Although I did not get my dress from Matina's, I had a wonderful experience. The owner was so wonderful to work with. I would recommend this place to anyone and am very bummed I didn't find "the dress" there!

Matinas Bridal is the only bridal store I would ever recommend to any new brides looking for a couture gown. The location may have you feeling as though you will be spending a fortune and while they have those gowns at those prices too, they also have your gown at your price as well. They welcome all with open arms! They treated me and family with love and respect and we did not want to leave the store! I found my gown at the first appointment and it took about only an hour not even to find it! If you can appreciate well made designer gowns then you have found your match at Matinas! Julie and Mira and all the women there know exactly what they are doing and how to make you fell like a bride. The moment I said yes, I will never forget as we all had an emotional moment. I felt like I had multiple moms with me! I got married at the Arcade Downtown Cleveland and my dress could not have been more perfect for the venue! Ines Di Santo is an amazing designer and Mira definitely made the gown fit me like a glove! I also bought my accessories from Matinas and they really complimented my gown! Everyone Loved the Dress and still talk about it! Thank will never be enough! Love the Matinas Bridal Family!

May be a good fit for some, but not for me. They have a beautiful selection of gowns but the general feel was one of condescension. We were talked to consistently like we knew nothing and they knew everything. Definitely understand they're experts, but it left us with a bad taste in our mouths. I was told the color of gown I was interested in was "pasé" and that my veil choice was "definitely going to be too much," without letting me try it out. Know going in that they do not allow photos, which may be fine for some but for others, it could hinder your ability to compare dresses across stores.

Matina's Bridal is the best bridal salon in Ohio, period. They have the best selection of gowns and Julie and Jillian were so professional and helpful. I live in New York and they continued to assist in my search for the perfect gown weeks after I left my first appointment. Would highly recommend this salon to any bride who is looking for a classy and gorgeous gown!!!!

Great experience finding my dream dress! I attended an Amsale trunk show and the team was very helpful. I wasn't rushed to leave, I was there well past my appointment time. The seamstress was incredibly talented. The dress fit like a glove after the first fitting. She gave great advice and was very helpful!

Anyone looking for a magical "say yes to the dress" experience can look no further than the amazing Matina's!!! Not only did Julie and her team go above and beyond to accommodate me, but they had the best bridal boutique selection!! This was by far my favorite part of the entire wedding planning process because it was like the ultimate game of dress up! Whether your style is sleek and sophisticate or fun and fresh-off-the-runway, you'll find exactly what you've dreamnt of for your big day! I cannot thank the amazing people at Matina's for helping to make my day seamless (literally!) :)

My experience here was terrible! I had an appointment. When I walked in the woman said "Do you know exactly what you want, because I don't have time for you to try on 20 dresses." As if that was not enough, when I found a dress I liked, I asked a friend to take a picture and was yelled at screaming "no pictures!! NEVER!." when I told her I needed to show people in my life, she said I could facetime, but the only person I can facetime with is my mother, because she is all that matters! Really? Then after having the dress on for 2 minutes she said "ok, you done yet? ready to take it off?" I would NEVER go back there. The dresses are overpriced, all looked the same, and the service was aweful! I do NOT recommend this place!

I got my DREAM wedding dress from Matina's. It was the only dress out of the 20+ dresses I tried on from other bridal shops that I absolutely fell in love with. The woman that does the alterations there is absolutely amazing and I think she is 100% worth the extra money. She is also very sweet and personable. The rest of the staff can come off a little snooty, especially after my dress was purchased, I didn't feel like I was treated with the same amount of care as before, but hopefully this is something they can work on in the future with other clients. Again, I absolutely loved my timeless and elegant wedding dress, I cannot thank Matina's enough for being a part of our special day.

What a great & LOCAL shop. The ladies are wonderful as is the selection of gowns. They put me at ease, as this was a very emotional process, & welcomed my larger entourage as well! We all did a champaign toast after I "said yes to the dress", & I was able to do my alterations there as well with ease. 5+ stars!

I don't know what I would have done without Julie and team at Matina's! I didn't particularly like shopping for wedding dresses (I thought I would have loved it!) but the experience I had at Matina's was absolutely wonderful! They were patient with me when I was unsure and emotional and made sure I was 100% satisfied with my dress, veil and jewelry (which was gorgeous)!

I bought the first wedding dress I tried on at Matina's! I had a smaller budget than what their normal bride has but they helped out to find a dress that fit the image I wanted, along with staying in my budget. Everyone was very friendly! They also allowed me to keep my dress at the store with my veil until right before the wedding, which was very convenient.

Matina's is the only spot in Ohio to stop for all your wedding needs. From the bride to the flower girl and everyone in between. This salon carries only the best designers and collections. The customer service surpasses any other. They have been helping my family and friends for well over 15 years, and anyone I recommend to them always makes for a happy and beautiful bride. I live in Las Vegas currently and still shopped and bought from them. Julie and Mira went beyond expectation for me. Deliveries my dress to my door even when I ordered late! They are truly the best in what they do! I would never go anywhere else!!

I didn't buy my dress at Matinas, but they performed my alterations and I also bought my accessories (veil, belt, and hair piece) with them. I purchased my wedding gown on-line (monique lhuillier) for an amazing price, but it had a weird "couture" neckline (i had a love-hate relationship with it until I realized it wasn't good for my body type) and was too big. The dress was of course all intricate lace as well as horse-hair at the neckline and I was wondering how anyone would be able to make it into the dress I envisioned (we actually highly considered trying to sell it ourselves and just buying a new dress from scratch). But Mira who does alterations was able to create the PERFECT dress for me -- the neckline, bodice, and overall fit was amazing. She listened to all of our concerns (my mom and I -- we often had differing opinions!) and was extremely flexible considering I changed my mind a BUNCH of times. She also worked fast and efficiently, working with my hectic schedule. The prices for the alterations were very, very reasonable. Mira is basically a miracle worker -- it really could have ended up as a disaster in anyone else's hands. I don't know what we would've done without her. The veil, belt, and hair piece were also beautiful accessories and of very high quality. The veil in particular is stunning. Julie the owner is also very nice, professional, and flexible. Even though we only did our alterations there, she always made us feel like VIP customers. If I didn't get my dress online, I would've probably have gotten my dress there!

I can't recommend this Bridal shop enough. I went to the store in Eaton Mall first.....I'm glad I did because every other store I shopped couldn't compare, even the stores with higher rankings. The individual attention you will receive here is fantastic. My dress looked from the NY runway and I received so many compliments. If you're looking for something fashion forward and unique this is the place to shop.

On my first appointment and in less than 1 hour - I said yes to the dress. Matina's carries high quality and the best in bridal. They helped me find my perfect dress and I felt like "me" in it.

Matina's was wonderful to work with. They helped me find my perfect dress! Mira who does all the alterations is incredibly talented and after 5-6 alterations ensured my dress fit absolutely perfectly! The staff was always, pleasant, incredibly accommodating and ALWAYS met all of my needs they did however, rub my mother and some of my wedding party the wrong way with their somewhat prickly approach. For what my dress and veil cost I would have hoped that it came with a much nicer bag. Matina's has an extensive selection of wedding dresses both high end designers and more reasonable priced ones. They were constantly receiving new dresses and had a completely different selection then most of the other bridal boutiques.

I loved my dress and everyone at our wedding went out of their way to tell me how much they did on that day and ever since. It was beautiful, well made, tailored to fit me perfectly and exactly what I wanted. It was actually only the 3rd dress I tried on! The shop was very helpful during the selection of my dress, but a little less so on my subsequent next 3 visits for fittings. Don't get me wrong, they did their jobs and were nice enough, but once that dress was paid for they were no longer bending over backwards for me. They do their alterations there, but be warned, they charge an additional amount to the dress price for the alterations (one time few of around $350) and they ONLY take cash or check for those. The dress was phenomenal, but I thought it was over priced and was a little bothered by the alterations not being able to go on a credit card.

I went to this shop specifically because they had a few Lazaro dresses I was interested in trying on. The sales women in the store didn't make my experience very fun. They were very dry and bleak- it just wasn't as fun as I thought it was going to be. However, I found a dress I loved so I ended up purchasing my gown from the store. When purchasing bridesmaid gowns at other local places I found my same dress for a lot less money. So Matina's seems to jack up the price...

Very small personal place, that was easy to work with. They carry all the best styles! I had so many compliments on my dress. I had my dress in plenty of time and they worked around my schedule since I was out of town.

Has great selection - got a custom veil brought in from a trunk show that was divine. Best was the tailor was able to do anything with high end brands. Everything worked out perfect!

Matina's had a beautiful selection of designer dresses, and the staff were friendly. Also, the sales staff did not "pressure" me to purchase my dress, as I had experienced with other stores. My dress was beautifully pressed for the day of my wedding.

While I found my dress here, I am from the East coast and had in the end planned to go shopping with my family. I did end up buying my hair accessory and veil here because they helped me pick out just what I wanted even after I visited a few big name NYC area shops. I also got my alterations done here since it made the most sense to bring the dress to Cleveland. The dress fit perfectly and I was comfortable the whole day.

Lilly and Marta (and Jo who origionally helped me out, but is no longer there) are amazing ladies! They made me feel like an old friend everytime I walked through the door for a fitting. I had somewhat of a meltdown the day after selecting my first gown and they were so wonderful when it came to cancelling that order and transfering my deposit to another gown...which was an upgrade, so I guess they are smart for being so flexible ;) After the wedding (January in Cleveland), it looked like I had stopped to change the oil in my car before heading back to the hotel...my mother took the gown back to them to have it cleaned and preserved and that too exceeded my expectations!

Great customer sevice. Beautiful clothes;Don't spend too much for one day.
