Our meetings prior to the wedding were very easy going and she has a presence about her that is welcoming, genuine, and caring. She also made the trek all the way out to Hawaii to officiate my wedding and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I wanted something light and easy going so I wouldn’t get get too teary and she did all of that and more. It was very personalized and she took the time to really create the perfect mix of elegant and funny. I was so happy with everything! I’d absolute recommend Maija to anyone looking for an officiant!

d awkward to do, but Mia made it super easy! She asked a ton of great questions and really helped us figure out our vows. Mia was highly professional, humorous, and hit the perfect note at the wedding as a mix of both. out the couple she officiates for. She got to know my husband and me before we were married, she asked us questions that got us all having the feels. Maija really took her time to ensure her speech was catered to us and she chose a poem that I really resonated with, that I even have framed in our house now! Maija isn’t just an officiant in your wedding, she is a good friend that really cares you have the best day ever! Maija loves love and you can tell she puts a lot of love into her job. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to officiate our wedding and I will support and suggest Matrimony by Maija to everyone. You will not be disappointed, trust me.
