Matt was amazing! Literally made our wedding day flawless!! He was so communicative and helped make it as stress free as possible! He even got me and my husband drinks from the bar...
!! He helped with planning and timeline and almost acted as a wedding coordinator as well. By far the BEST vendor we booked!! He brought the vibes and we are so thankful for him!! Not only that but when we booked with him, I had originally had him scheduled for 4pm-11pm thinking set up and take down. He was quick to say he doesnt charge for set up and take down and refunded me some money as we needed him only to do his services from 4:30-10:30. Thank you Matt!!

picking music and keeping the crowd dancing all night, made sure to check in with us, and was helpful with things even outside of just music. We received many compliments throughout the night on the music, I would recommend Matt to anyone looking for a DJ.

now you to understand your vibe and vision for your day.
Matt really listened to us and got to know us before our big day. We fully trusted him to use his best judgment for each part of our wedding: cocktail hour, dinner, dance floor, etc. Every song he played (from our lists we provided or that he chose based on the genres and artists we liked) fit perfectly in the moment that was happening. Our guests raved about our dance floor and how much fun it was. Matt is a huge part of that, knowing what to play and when to keep the energy up.
Matt was also a wonderful partner to us and with our other vendors to ensure the evening would go smoothly. He checked in with us enough to involve us in important conversations/decisions we would want to be involved in, and left us alone enough so that we were able to sit back and enjoy the evening. He knows how to strike that perfect balance.
If you are looking for a wedding DJ, seriously, look no further. We couldn't stop talking about "how amazing Matt was" in the days after our wedding!

We had the pleasure of Matt Baer being our DJ for our wedding in May of 2025 at Bogey Hills Country Club. We have nothing but great things to say about the quality of his services....
Our main priority of the night was to have someone to MC and make sure everything went smoothly from start to finish as well as our outdoor ceremony being heard well. He did amazing at this as well as provide such a fun party for us and all of our guests. From the start he was very professional and prompt with meetings and made sure to ask plenty of questions about the direction we wanted when it came to music! He was able to read the room and play the right songs at the right time that ultimately lead to a conga line, 2 people doing the worm and the bride placed on a chair up in the air (all not planned and unexpected)! Needless to say, he set a great atmosphere for the perfect celebration!

Our guests said they loved the music and vibes throughout the night. He played the perfect mix of songs and every transition felt seamless. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests on how much fun they had dancing!
He seriously played every song I would’ve picked out myself.
Matt was a true professional—easy to work with, responsive to our requests, and so talented at reading the crowd.
The Photo Booth he provides was a hit, everyone LOVED it, picture quality was spot on and he even had a bunch of props.
If you’re looking for a DJ who brings energy, talent, and professionalism, we highly recommend Matt.

and finalized, Matt was the first person we reached out to check availability. We were able to book Matt Baer Media as our DJ and it was such a great choice. Matt was very responsive, professional, friendly, and reset my portal password for me more times than I care to admit since I kept forgetting the password. I had an initial call right after booking with Matt to go over contract details, various text/email communication, and my now husband and I had a meeting about one or two weeks prior to our event to finalize everything. Every time Matt was so polite and genuine. I knew he wanted to help make our day special. The day of was wonderful. Matt did an AMAZING job with our ever changing timeline. He was willing to be flexible and share the game plan with our other vendors when needed. Matt had people out on the dance floor and the music choices were great. Many of our wedding party complemented Matt on his job well done, too. We were very happy with our choice to book Matt and highly recommend him. He helped to make our day perfect!

due to an unforeseen circumstance on our end, but was there when we were ready to book. Then as we got closer, we got to sit down with him to talk through the day and he helped guide the conversation to ensure we didn't miss or forget anything. The portal we used to line out the day was user-friendly and he utilized the information exactly as we intended. Finally, it was wedding day and if it wasn't for Matt, our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did. During the in-person meeting, we talked through the timeline, and on the day of, Matt ensured every mark was hit so time didn't get away from us. Throughout the evening he would check in with me and/or my fiance/husband to make sure everything was going as we hoped. He went above and beyond for us and made our evening stress-free and fun.

ht was well planned out, played all of our favorite songs, and was able to get everyone on the dance floor. We are so thankful that we picked him, and would recommend him to anyone that is getting married. He puts his heart and soul into his work and you can definitely tell he cares. Which meant to the world to us after all of the stress of dealing with various other vendors. I never had one single issue come up with Matt. He is amazing!!!

lan, did an amazing job MCing the evening, and kept our dance floor PACKED all night. Any questions we had were always answered ASAP via text, or call. With just a few song suggestions and music preferences, he created a playlist that fit our vibe perfectly. He also brought tons of lights to transform our venue after dinner. Matt is a true professional and there is no one else I would recommend to DJ / MC a wedding in the St. Louis area! 10/10

to any requests we had and followed through with making the night fun and memorable. He played the ceremony music outside and transitioned to the indoor reception with zero issues. We had a mixed crowd with family, church friends, and friends that wanted club music and he was able to deliver a great experience to everyone there. Thank you Matt for all the work you put into our wedding. You were absolutely wonderful and Tim and I appreciate it :)

rytime we needed something small changed, Matt was there and made it run smoother than you could imagine. His prices are great for the value you get. He has a very easy to use website that he sends you a link for which allows you to really customize your wedding the way you envision while also giving him the ability to do his thing and keep the night rolling and dance floor poppin! Seriously my wife said it right when he says it feels like a close friend is DJing your wedding. He was spectacular. I've had over 10 wedding guests compliment him after the wedding and its Monday and the wedding was Saturday! Seriously. Couldn't have asked for more.
If I could give 6 stars, I would!! Matt is the kindest, coolest dj in the industry. He is very knowledgeable and professional. His prices are fair, and you know exactly what you’re...
getting for your budget. The website he uses to put your preferences in is super user friendly- and he’ll make sure he plays music you want- and avoid the songs you don’t. He’s great on the mic and it genuinely feels like your close friend is djing your wedding- except this friend knows what he’s doing. Brides- you won’t be disappointed- he’ll make everything for your special moments perfect!! Seriously, book Matt.
(Matt if you read this let’s all get together soon! We’re sad it’s over)

nal and truly helped our wedding day go incredibly smoothly. He took our music preferences into account and just ran with them and there wasn't a single song that felt out of place the whole night. We had multiple people compliment us on the music and it truly was great. He was also so easy to work with, he worked with the venue to get everything figured out and we never had to give him and direction the whole night. Even when we did our last dance with just my wife and I he left the room so that we could truly be just the two of us which was something we hadn't asked him to do but made it all the more special. It's the little moments like that that just proved to us he was the perfect choice for our day and I would recommend him to anyone who's looking for a DJ!

ding, and given my husband and I are BIG dancers, it was a super important aspect of the day for us. Matt was very responsive throughout the planning process, and I had so much fun chatting with him the week before to discuss all of the details! Matt is so incredible to work with, I had LOTS of specific requests that he executed so effortlessly. Matt's playlist was the PERFECT balance for all ages, and he was easily able to read the room & adapt to the guests as the night progressed. I've had so many people tell us it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, and that is HUGELY thanks to our wonderful DJ! Thank you so much!
Circumstance didn't let Matt DJ my fiance and I's wedding but we had such a good experience with him through the process that we felt compelled to leave a good review. After doing...
a lot of interviews and vetting, Matt was at the top of our list on account of being very reasonable with his pricing and more importantly we felt like we knew what we were getting with his services which was not the case for a majority of the other companies in the STL area. I have no doubt Matt will take great care of any couple (and their guests) that decides to hire him.
