About this vendor
Every couple has a beautiful love story to capture. A story that artfully documents a timeless connection and magical moment in time. My passion lies in photographing these cherished moments in an authentic and cinematic way.
Based in Connecticut, my team serves the entire New England area and beyond. We specialize in artfully capturing weddings & engagements for those who are looking to capture those timeless keepsakes that will be experienced for generations to come. Photographs have the ability to bring us back to a moment in time and evoke feelings of joy & nostalgia. My goal is to capture those magical moments that matter the most.
When working with me every couple has an open line of communication. It's essential that the shoot is collaborative so the narrative feels authentic to your story, rather than simply fitting some standard wedding template. If you're searching for a photographer to shoot your special day, I'd be honored to offer my services and to deliver you the incredible results you deserve.
Let's create magic together!

My fiancé and I hired Matt to take our engagement photos and we could not be happier! We decided on two locations and chose St. Armands circle and the beach on Longboat Key. The ph...
otos turned out amazing!!! My fiancé and I are not very photogenic people, but Matt made the entire experience super easy and encouraged us to simply be ourselves while he captured the moment. Matt made us feel super comfortable and gave subtle yet very helpful guidance to setup the perfect shots. Overall we could not be happier with the final results!
Selecting our photographer was the most important wedding decision we made. We knew we wanted to capture genuine moments—not forced, overly posed images. I specifically sought out ...
a documentary-style photographer who could archive our day with authenticity.
After an extensive search, I stumbled upon Matt’s portfolio—and I immediately knew he was the one. His work struck the perfect balance between candid storytelling and artistic composition. I was already so impressed, but he still managed to exceed our expectations with the images he delivered.
It’s worth noting: we didn’t meet Matt in person until our wedding day. Despite the distance, he made us feel completely confident through thoughtful preparation and consistent communication. When he arrived, he brought a warm smile and a calm, grounding presence—exactly the kind of energy you hope for amid the whirlwind of a wedding day.
Matt completely understood my desire for natural, candid photos. While nothing ever felt staged, he gently offered subtle guidance when needed, leading to truly stunning results. He captured the day from every angle, and yet somehow never made us feel like we were being photographed.
By the end of the night, it felt like Matt had become part of the family. He shared in our joy, laughter, and love—all while quietly creating an unforgettable record of our wedding day.
Afterward, he delivered both sneak peeks and our full gallery ahead of schedule. The final photos absolutely blew us away. We’ve cherished every single one since.
If you’ve found your way to Matt—don’t hesitate. He is a true artist, and he won’t disappoint.
Matt—thank you. We will never be able to fully express how grateful we are for the way you captured our love story.
Matt and Sam were an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. They brought such a calm, creative energy to our wedding day and made us feel completely at ease in front of ...
the camera. Every photo feels intentional, emotional, and so true to who we are. We’re beyond grateful to have had such a talented and kind team documenting our day—these memories mean the world to us, and we’ll treasure them forever.
Truly cannot recommend Matt enough!!!
My sister isn’t the biggest fan of photos, but we knew she would want her engagement captured. Matt was so flexible as we worked through t...
he logistics of keeping the surprise (down to dressing the part and hiding in our neighbors boat, bless him), and he was so discrete my sister didn’t even realize he was a photographer until after the proposal was over. He waited with our family while the happy couple went on a boat cruise, and then captured so many beautiful moments of them and our family celebrating when they returned. Matt has such great energy and made everyone feel so comfortable, so all of us (but most importantly the new fiancés) could really live in the moment.
The photos came back quickly and are absolutely stunning. He got the most amazing shots and didn’t miss a thing. I had sent inspiration photos and he was spot on (I’m sure he didn’t need them, but if you are like me and are into that stuff he is on board!).
A true pro— we are forever grateful!

elf was wonderful to work with and have there on the day, he is super kind and has a great energy. He was also part of a surprise engagement that required lots of planning, travel, and stealth, and he did it all with ease. Thank you so much Matt, we are so thrilled you were our photographer!

we had! They had great suggestions for poses, areas to shoot, and they also took detail shots of the decor which was important to us. They really captured our day as a whole through a lens. I would highly recommend Matt, he was responsive and such a pleasure to have photograph our wedding!

He arrived ahead of schedule on the day of, made everyone feel comfortable and confident, and captured every moment of the night, beautifully.
He had my sneak peeks to me within 2 business days, and all my photos within 15 days- WAY sooner than I would have thought.
Would highly recommend.
To say Matt was an amazing photographer is an understatement. I’ve followed his work for a while on IG and was super happy I was able to book him for a proposal shoot in Nashville....
He was he super easy to get a hold of and was an awesome help in suggesting ideas for locations and best times to pop the question. Matt endured so many layover delays and cancellations to meet me in Nashville that I sincerely thought the shoot was a bust. He didn’t arrive more than 24 hours later than intended but despite those challenges he remained upbeat and professional while I was nearly losing my mind. I don’t know how he did it but photos look like something out of a dream. They have this amazing sunset glow and he meticulously timed and captured the best candid moments which is perfect because unlike my fiancée I am horrible at posing for pictures.
I cannot recommend Matt enough, go with him you will not regret it!

d so many compliments on how classic and timeless the photos came out. There were SO MANY photos and I swear they all came out beautiful. Matt was so easy to work with especially with us moving back from overseas and switching numbers and having time changes. I cannot recommend Matt enough. Also, he created a guest book for us filled with all our travel photos from overseas. It was such a sweet touch and a big hit with our guests.
Matt was GREAT! Flexible, fun, and super talented. Our engagement photos are beautiful and capture us perfectly.
I hired Matt for my surprise proposal shoot and I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. The term “you get what you pay for” could never have been more true. Matt’s photos ...
were breath taking and my fiancé was amazed on how they came out. The angles he was able to capture along with the color edits he did were amazing. He has true artistic gift with photography. I was comparing him to other photographers and there was a clear distinction between him and the others. After talking with him for a few short minutes before my fiancé arrived he knew what I wanted and executed the job perfectly. I will be hiring him again for our wedding and referring him to anybody who asks if I know an amazing photographer. Certain events only happen once in a life time and I can honestly say you can trust Matt to capture and cherish them for the rest of your life!
Matt is a very professional photographer with a great eye. You can trust his creative process and I promise you will LOVE the images. He truly knows how to capture special moments ...

dea we had. He met us in NYC in probably one of the coldest days of the year, and suggested such beautiful places for us to take pictures. I have recommended Matt to many of my friends and I would use him again in a heartbeat. If you’re questioning who to use for your wedding and engagement photos I guarantee Matt is your guy!
