We did an engagement session on the beach in September and it was the windiest and coldest day of the month. The entire time my hair was blowing around and I was shivering. We were both feeling unsure of what to do in front of the camera, but Matt eliminated any of that worry immediately. He was so helpful! He and his second shooter, Stuart, were amazing. They made the day so stress-free and relaxed for us. They were so easy to work with, and their genuine enthusiasm and excitement made the day unforgettable. So many of my guests also raved about how kind Matt was, and how he just knew the moments to capture. Matt Genders is simply the best!

I was 7 1/2 months pregnant with complications and couldn't be out long- Matt got many stunning photos in under 30 minutes. We heard about Matt from college friends that used him for their engagement and wedding pictures. My husband and I also used him for our engagement and wedding pictures. We booked one photographer for our wedding day and Matt provided a free engagement session with the package. For the engagement and wedding pictures, Matt brought along his wife, which was great to have a second person snapping some shots for the price of one photographer. During pictures, he demonstrated poses with his wife, which was super helpful for me and my husband to know exactly what to do. Both of them are very nice and definitely open to ideas! Matt is a fantastic photographer and you really get your money's worth. He provides high quality pictures for an awesome price! While researching vendors, I came across multiple photographers that had pictures just as good as Matt's, but those vendors were double the price! When it came down to everything, there really was no other option. We had a tight budget for the wedding (but I still wanted the wedding of my dreams) and Matt was the most affordable photographer around my area with a skillset to provide me with exactly what I wanted and needed. Matt has great communication skills and I always heard back quickly from him during the planning process. He always asked for my ideas and gave me ideas as well. He stayed flexible with my crazy busy schedule and was extremely professional during the entire process. I had a long distance relationship with my fiance at the time and Matt was patient and more than willing to work out a date for the engagement session. Even with his crazy schedule and tons of other clients that he needed to cater to, he still managed to treat me and my husband like we were his ONLY clients. He definitely knows how to run his business! During our entire wedding day, from getting ready to a sparkler exit at the end of the reception, Matt and his wife were up on their feet, making sure to capture every moment. After the engagement and wedding sessions, Matt made sure to edit and send us preview pictures the very next day, if not sooner! The edited and finalized pictures were sent in a timely manner and I wasn't waiting months for them. I recieved my engagement photos within a week and my wedding photos within two weeks. Matt was very supportive and understanding of how stressful wedding planning can be and he does his best to form a personal relationship with his clients. It truly amazed us how he captured so many little moments that would be lost without him! Overall, I could not be any happier of my decision to use Matt Genders Photography! Everything from start to finish with Matt Genders went PERFECTLY! I highly recommend using him for your big day, you will not be disappointed!
