ne feel at ease in front of the camera. My husband isn't the biggest fan of having his picture taken by himself, but Matt was able to put him at ease and make him laugh and smile naturally for the perfect photo! Not only does he make everyone comfortable and relaxed, he gets some of the best photos! There were so many times looking through edits that my family mentioned they didn't know our venue had such gorgeous trees or a peaceful lakeside dock, but Matt scouted our location, was extremely prepared, and got us in these incredible settings our venue didn't promote as being nearby. The turn around time was quick and there were SO many photos to chose from. From booking and asking questions, to receiving our edits, Matt was professional, timely, and witty- not to mention the pictures themselves are breathtaking. We look forward to updating our family photos simply so we can have the pleasure of working with Matt again.

I chose him because he gets so creative with his photos to the point where my engagements looked like art! He also shot my wedding and seriously everyone had a blast taking family photos after the ceremony. The packaging you get the final product in is really neat as well. I highly recommend Matt. Photos are so important to us, and his are worth every penny!

heard friends tell me of how uncomfortable posing for engagement or wedding photos can be, but we never experienced this while working with Matt. He made everything feel natural and genuine. If you choose to hire him for your Big Day, you will not be disappointed! We found comfort in knowing that we had hired a vendor who was so caring and true to his word.

to tie the knot. We had a week to pull it all together and Matt was right there with us to capture every special moment. He was so quick to help me get all of the information I needed and made the process as easy as possible. He captures moments you think aren't possible and he has an eye for moments that will make you remember it all as magical. fun to have in the bride's room while we were all getting ready and was very respectful of our privacy. He knew when to stay and when to leave to take other photos and scope out the neighborhood for our bridal party photos. I can not say enough about how great of a deal Matt's pricing is. He graduated from an art school where he studied photography so he REALLY knows what he's doing. He loves wedding photography so he's a joy to have around. Because he loves it, his price is for the entirety of your wedding and the price is less than what other photographers who didn't study photography charge for six hours. I wish there were bonus stars so I could give him a higher rating. He's flexible and easygoing and you should just hire him!

raphers in person for our wedding, and others I only researched online. I knew this cost was going to be pricey due to the quality of work, cost of equipment and labor, travel, etc. My husband and I paid for the wedding ourselves, and although we wanted to spend every dime we could on a photographer, we couldn't rationalize spending thousands of dollars (based on the people we had met with). Then Matt came along. Matt photographed a wedding my sister attended, and when she mentioned his name to me I took it seriously. She was a freelance photographer for a while, so she knew what she was talking about. Based on his website alone, I knew I had to work with him. He had the artistic capability to capture our wedding day the way I wanted it remembered. It didn't hurt that his prices were much more reasonable!! I was sold within five minutes of meeting him. He wasn't flashy, or bossy. He wasn't snooty, or 'too busy'. He was comforting, fun, and personable. The camera was pointed at me for a good portion of the day, and I didn't mind. He made me feel comfortable all day, and it really was ALL DAY. We did photos during a bridal breakfast, then hair and make-up, and all the way through our 7pm ceremony into ringing in the New Year at midnight. He seamlessly wove himself into every aspect of our big day. It was perfect. Even today, I have friends talk about how they love looking through our wedding photos. My parents are complaining that I haven't given them a photo album yet (I'm horrible at this, see?). He has done one other friend's wedding since ours, and will be shooting my husband's sister's wedding in May. I can't wait to see how their photos turn out!!
