We hired Matt Mead Photography for our wedding 10/22/22. And I don't even know where to begin with how happy and pleased we are with our choice. We had guests refer to Matt and the team as "ninjas" as they were stealthy throughout the ceremony and reception. We hardly realized they were there. During our photo sessions, Matt did a great job directing us for some great shots and positions for the group and individual photos. He was able to capture the raw emotion of that day. I love that he keeps it natural and not overdone. When we reviewed our digital album, it was like re-living that day all over again with all of the emotions and excitement coming back. There was a good mix of black & white and color photos and he is able to switch to color (or vise versa) if you want to see how that moment was captured in a different view. You will not be disappointed and we highly recommend Matt Mead Photography. It's like you become part of the family. The MM Family :-)

Matt and Teri were wonderful! Matt photographed our wedding. He was on top of everything and the photos turned out better than we could have hoped! He worked with us to fit our budget and made the whole process very easy!!!!

Matt and Kayla were incredible. I usually feel super awkward in front of a camera and they made me feel so at ease, I even forgot they were there a few times. We had a blast with our first look and what I’ve seen of our previews are stunning. I can’t recommend MMPLLC enough.

Everything about my experience with Matt, Teri, and Kayla (Matt’s assistant) was incredible. They had great communication, were professional but still managed to make me and my fiancé comfortable when we aren’t picture taking kind of people. We got our photos back in under 3 weeks and I am completely blown away and in love with them! It was just an all around stress free and enjoyable experience.

If you are looking through wedding photographers and reviews and really having a tough time deciding, let me make it easy for you: HIRE MATT MEAD. I live in Texas but got married in Erie near family. I just looked through photographer’s portfolios and rates online and chose Matt. I was nervous because I had no idea what I was doing, but his pictures looked beautiful and his rates were very reasonable. He and Teri set up a time to skype with me, friend me and my husband on Facebook, and really get to know us. By the time our wedding rolled around, they felt more like friends than somebody we had hired- and that’s exactly why they go out of their way like that! We were 1000x more comfortable in front of the camera with Matt because we’d known them for a year at that point. He is also really just a great, funny guy- even when I was nervous, he was making us laugh. We really just had a great time with him. His pictures are amazing. We got married at the Warner Theatre in Erie, where the lighting is pretty dim, but with his photos you would never even know it. I was nervous about staying on time for everything and Matt volunteered to help us with that- he always came and got us when it was time for the next event or to sneak out for more pictures. And he was stern, too. My family doesn’t follow orders well but I tell you what, Matt was NOT kidding around and he got them in line! He even got a picture with me and my divorced parents. It wasn’t something I’d specifically requested, but he went out of his way to make it happen, and for that I am so grateful. If you love black and white photos, his are second to none. He just really has a talent. And as many posed portraits he got, he had twice as many candids. None of that “client will get 50 finished images” crap I’ve seen from other photographers- he provided us with 600-700 pictures, all uploaded online to share with family (if you want), meticulously organized by his personal favorites, portraits, reception, ceremony, etc. And they were all ready within 3 weeks. I was very impressed with not only the quality of his work, but also the sheer quantity of photos that he took and how fast we got them all. Overall, I could rant about Matt, Teri, and his assistant Kayla for hours. They truly are such good people and go above and beyond just photographing. And hey, if you don’t hire them for their amazing photography, professionalism, and work ethic- hire them for the bottle of wine they ship to you to drink when you get your photos. 😉

Matt and Terri were fantastic to work with! They invited us over to their home to talk about what we wanted for our wedding and to get to know us better. They are both super sweet people. Our photos turned out beautifully and I was impressed how Matt directed everyone and kept us on schedule while keeping things fun! Would highly recommend!

Matt was everything we could have hoped for in a photographer for our wedding and then some! All of our photos came out beautifully. They were all very tasteful and classic images. We had so much fun with The MM team throughout the entire process. We were out of towners getting married in Pittsburgh and Matt and Teri made the process such a breeze for us! We're are so happy with our choice to go with Matt Mead Photography, LLC. The entire experience was fantastic. We originally decided to go with Matt for our wedding because of the high quality of photos and the price of the services. What really blew us away was how welcoming and attentive Matt, Teri and Kayla were. The photos turned out incredible, we highly recommend Matt to everyone! Our photographer was better than we ever could’ve imagined. Planning a wedding can be stressful but Matt and his wife Teri made this so enjoyable for us. They thoroughly went through every detail of what kind of photos we wanted for our wedding. We will recommend them to everyone we know. They sat down with us numerous times to go over all the details. On the day of our wedding Matt helped everything go so smoothly and he was so much fun to celebrate with. We chose Matt as our wedding photographer and we’re so glad we did. From day one he and Teri both have been very involved and communicative. This was the one thing that was solid leading up to and on our wedding day! There was never a question with anything, we knew what they were doing and that things were going to work, and we never had to worry day of, which was nice to have one thing off our shoulders. Not once all day did I have to worry about anything Matt and Kayla were doing or whether things would be right. They took the wheel and brought us to the finish line. Leading up to and the day of, they were very hands on and always involved. And the photos turned out spectacular! Being a photographer myself I was very adamant about finding the right style/vision for our photos and I immediately fell in love with Matt’s portfolio. Our photos definitely exceeded our expectations and I am beyond impressed. Thank you so much to Matt, Teri and Kayla for being a part of our special day and helping us to capture it!!! I don't even know where to begin! Matt, Teri, and Kayla where just amazing to work with! From the first meeting, to the engagement session, and my "fairytale" wedding! I have followed Matt's work for years and when my husband proposed to me, Matt was the first person I thought of to be our photographer. Matt loved our wedding theme and he ran with it! Along with Kayla, they went above and beyond my and my husband's expectations! They took photos that I didn't even know about until I saw them! They captured memories! I don’t think I can put into words how awesome Matt is! He made sure to go above and beyond for everything that we envisioned for our engagement and wedding pictures! Our bridal party had so much fun all day with him and his assistants and they were so genuine and fun to work with! Seeing our wedding pictures for the first time was something that we will always remember and everyone in our wedding party and who were there are just amazed with how great they have turned out! If I could give a million stars on how great with was to have Matt as our photographer I would!! Thank you for capturing “literally” every memory of our special day!

Matt, Teri, and Kayla were all wonderful to work with throughout the entire wedding process. Our meetings with them were always my least stressful meetings, and for that I was very grateful. My husband and I LOVE the images, as do my many family and friends. Matt and Kayla captured our day perfectly; they got all the important moments, but they also got many pictures of our guest enjoying their time at the reception, and it is so fun to look at the wonderful photos!! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! :)

I was referred to Matt mead for my wedding by my sister and her boyfriend, and I'm am so glad I chose him. His work is absolutely beautiful, and he's a great guy to be around. He makes the shoots really fun, and creative. So many people at my wedding we're asking who he was for future photoshoots. I will definitely be sending everyone I know to him. And I'll be using him again myself for any family photoshoots.

Matt and his assistant did an absolutely amazing job photographing our wedding. He is very easy to work with, and he really took the time to get to know us as a couple beforehand, so he really ensured that we would be happy with how he captured our wedding day. We could not be happier! It is so clear that Matt is truly passionate and loves what he does, it shows in his final product. On our wedding day, we were so comfortable and relaxed during all photo moments, and Matt was very careful to keep us on schedule so we didn't miss any of the action (while still capturing everything we wanted!). I would highly recommend Matt to anyone- it will feel like an old friend is taking your wedding photos, and doing a great job.

Matt is the best! When you feel comfortable with your photographer, you will end up with even better photos. Matt is very easy to work with and i's very talented at what he does. When I got my wedding photos back it was like reliving it all over again. The candid shots are something he's very good at and there wasn't a photo we didn't love! I would highly recommend him if you want beautiful photos of your special day.

Me and my husband Justin got married in Pittsburgh May 5th and matt was honestly the best!! Between the engagement session and the wedding we have so many wonderful pictures it’s hard to choose a favorite. He was accommodating, funny and knows how to take a good picture. His helper Kayla was great as well and we would tell ANYONE looking for a great photographer to go with Matt

My husband and I worked with Matt Mead for our wedding and engagement photos, and we could not have been more pleased or thankful to have him as our photographer. Matt was just fantastic to work with, start to finish. He was professional, personable, and a lot of fun. We were complete novices to this sort of thing and he patiently worked with us and all of our many, many questions. He helped us feel at ease, and the experience of working with him for our photo sessions and throughout our wedding day left us feeling confident and relaxed. He was flexible and easygoing, and kept the family photos on the day of the wedding moving smoothly and efficiently. He even used a drone to take some group photos of our guests outside of the church! And the photos he delivered after our big day were so perfect, just incredible - he (and his assistant) artistically captured so many beautiful moments from the ceremony and also fun moments from the reception. These will be memories we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. My husband and I hired Matt as our wedding photographer. He went above and beyond what my expectations were. We met a month before my wedding at a little coffee shop and went over every aspect of what I was expecting, I told him I wanted a photo of my dads first look of me and with my church being an old church ( it turned 100 in September) I wasn’t sure how it was going to happen because not very many places for me to hide from everyone else. Matt sprung into action, met me at my rehearsal for my church and discussed with the director every possible way me getting my picture could happen. He succeeded, and needless to say it’s one of my favorite pictures ever. I’m a very anxious and controlling person, and as a bride everyone knows that’s not a good combo. Matt had a way reassuring me everything was gonna be fine , and it was. My favorite part of his service was after we were announced husband and wife Matt took as off to the side before all the commotion started, and just gave us ten minutes to just soak up the fact that after 7 years we’re finally married. Those ten minutes of unposed pictures of us just being husband and wife turned out to be more beautiful then any of our posed ones. I got every photo I asked for especially the action shots of people just enjoying my wedding. The best part I didn’t spend a fortune and I got my photos back in 3 weeks. I would highly recommend Matt for any photographed needs, and can’t thank him enough.

Matt is friendly and personable. He was the photographer for our wedding and was very organized, composing a pre established list with us and then following-through with every detail. We had a small intimate wedding so a lower-end photography package was most appropriate for our needs. Within the small time frame that Matt was for hire, he managed to impressively exceed our expectations as we were generously blessed with an astonishing abundance of excellent quality photos!
