Matt was absolutely amazing to work with and even better, our photos are stunning! He has an eye for detail, especially on the couples portraits to make sure that everything is just right. As someone who does not know their best angles, it was great to have him make those small adjustments so that he captures you at your best. He was not overly directing or posing so that everything felt very natural. Matt was also great at being at the right place at the right time to capture those priceless candid moments.

Matt was very prepared, professional, and efficient with his time. "He understood the assignment." He kept up with us prior and during the wedding. He captured all the important moments. I would give Matt 6/5 stars if I could. He is an excellent photographer, and we had him take our engagement and wedding photos. He's very prompt in responding, and is always available for answering any questions. We had a smaller wedding of roughly 50 people and Matt still took fantastic photos of everyone there and all of us on the dance floor too. We really appreciated him scoping out the venue location outside for areas that would be good for couple shots, as well as wedding party shots. He also provided us with our photos not too long after, which we appreciated. We definitely recommend Matt!

We had a phenomenal experience with Matt as our wedding photographer! He was friendly, clear at directing, efficient, creative, and great at communicating! It’s one thing to be reassured leading up to the day by your vendors, and another when you see them show up and actually put in the work that was expected & then exceed the original expectations. Some vendors pack up and leave as soon as they hit the last minute they’re being paid, without any concern for the customers satisfaction. Matt photographed 3 of our friends' weddings and did an amazing job so we knew he had to be the first vendor we reached out to once we got engaged and he did not disappoint! He provided so many great tips for us before and during the wedding to capture exactly what we wanted. Not only that, he must have been absolutely everywhere during our wedding because he did not miss a single moment! I was so pleased when we got our pictures back (just 5 days later!) and every single moment that I thought "oh I hope he got a picture of that" was right there. Matt took the most beautiful photos of our wedding. We had a very small wedding with 5 kids under the age of 6 (including our 1.5 year old), and he still got amazing pictures despite tears and non-cooperation. He also took amazing pictures of just the two of us that we love.

Matt was simply amazing!! He did our engagement pictures, my bridal pictures and our wedding pictures and I cannot say enough nice things about him! Our primary objective was the “money shot” and the normal set of wedding pictures. Well, we got the money shot and so much more. On the day of wedding, Matt was engaging and gave great advice for how to “get married” and look good doing it. From that, the results were amazing and a fast turn-around on the picture. We want to do another event just to have Matt take the pictures.

This man was exceptional (so much so, I’m writing this the day after my wedding)! His knowledge of his profession and everything else in a wedding far surpasses your expectations. He very quickly gets to know everyone who is important to you and learns all the moving parts of the families. My husband and I hate to be photographed and posed, but he made us feel comfortable and we had a blast working with him! He truly helped make the night incredible for us! Matt was awesome with photography at our wedding in October. Very professional, fun to work with, and creative in his shots. So grateful for all the photos after our wedding, which we received one week later! Only regret, was not having more photos! I wanted a dreamy/creative veil shot and more fun shots with the wedding party. It could have been our timeline crunch though also, and once the day starts rolling it feels so busy & gets harder to ask. We also did a sparkler exit shot but they came out really bright, which I had envisioned differently. Just recommend making sure you know what to ask for if you are wanting specific shots! Still rating 5 stars for the photos & service received :). Thank you Matt!

Matt is an amazing photographer! He captured so many beautiful moments at our wedding! He has a great artistic eye! He does an amazing job at chasing the sunset and the sunset pictures are amazing! Matt is the BEST! He has an innate ability of artistry and creativity that you won't find in others. I spoke to several photographers, as our wedding was in another city so I did my research extensively. I knew Matt was the one immediately after our initial call! And boy did he deliver outstanding pictures and within a week! Our rehearsal dinner and wedding pictures turned out stunning and captured all the moments we wanted and more. It's important to note that as the bride, you don't get to see everything along the way, like the cocktail hour or the details in the room being flipped, or everybody seated at every table. Matt got it ALL!! I went from crying with joy, to literally laughing out loud, to saying "awwww" to myself as I looked through our albums and got to see the things I didn't see in person. He captured the true essence of my family and friends and want above and beyond to make sure we got the perfect pictures at the golden hour. He truly loves what he does, and it shows in his work overall. From answering emails promptly to giving the most precise instructions for each portrait, to editing your pictures according to your desires, he is a true professional who won't let you down at any point in the process. On top of all that, he has a great, energetic personality and is so fun to have by your side on your wedding day! Matt will listen to you and work with all of your concerns. Even if I make a face in disgust or start to get frustrated with the heat, Matt will still be upbeat and cheer you on and get you through it! I write content for a living and I feel like I still haven't written the proper words to give credit where it's due and reiterate how beautiful our pictures are, and I will be forever grateful to Matt. Matt does a fantastic job of capturing the special moments! We loved his approach between getting some quality portraits along with really fun candids from the day. He also has a terrific personality and is very thoughtful. Overall a great addition to all our wedding milestones.

Matt was so amazing! I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of good photographers out there to choose from and was originally drawn to Matt because he was so highly reviewed/experienced and yet still affordable. He never felt pushy and from our first phone call I felt comfortable in hiring him. On my wedding day he showed up early and was ready to go right away! He was the calming presence that I needed as a nervous bride. He worked quickly to get all the shots in the busy schedule that I had and the photos turned out so perfect! I swear I stare at them multiple times each day and can’t wait to get them printed for my home. My friends and family loved them as well! I was also seriously impressed by how fast he was in delivering them. I was still on my honeymoon when I got my gallery! All in all, 10/10 and would absolutely work with Matt again someday. As I was putting together my wedding, there were some major boxes I had to fill, one of them being trying to find a photographer that you hope knows what they are doing, meshes well and blends in with the guests and wedding party and finds the special moments to capture the true essence of how we were feeling at the time and the mood of the ceremony. Matt could not have been any more spot on with all the pictures he shot. He’s truly fantastic getting the pictures we were wanting for our special day. They just told our story from start to finish. After the ceremony, he was very organized and he knew when and where to have us stand and pose for the pictures and then with our family. The best part was that we got the pictures we wanted and it didn’t feel like we were away from the guests and family that long. He knew what we were looking for and made it happen. Matt came as a recommendation, but we were told that he is always booked because that’s just how good he is. For whatever reason, Matt was available for or wedding day!! I could not have been more excited to have him take our pictures. The awards he has won and the pictures on his website were amazing. We got our pictures back 2 days after the wedding and they were outstanding! I could not be more pleased with the quality and the special moments he was able to capture. If you are not sure or on the fence about your photographer then book Matt as soon as possible. You will not be disappointed and will be glad that you did. As a side note, when I sent the request to Matt regarding the date and the time, he responded within a day, was very professional with all of his emails and was early to our wedding day. Matt should be your first call when you get engaged. He's so talented and completely captured our wedding, so I feel like I'm reliving it from the photos. He got fantastic candid shots of all the guests. Our whole 200 person wedding is framing photos of themselves! Additionally, Matt is highly professional and just so fun to hang out with on your wedding day. When we have kids, he will for sure be our first phone call.

Matt was amazing! His photos are incredible. He knows exactly where the best spots are at vintage villas and even waited until sunset so that we could have a beautiful background. We had access to all our of photos in exactly 1 week. Matt is experienced and his work is worth every penny.

Matt has an insane amount of experience as a photographer, and it shows in our photos! He’s familiar with many Austin venues (if not all of them) and knows exactly when, where, and how to shoot to get the most beautiful photos!! He effortlessly instructed us to get into the right pose, and honestly, I don’t even know how he got some of our photos because it was that easy! Matt was also amazing at getting candid shots (and had really helpful tips for us about how to get the best candid shots) and was able to capture truly amazing moments. He doesn’t limit the number of photos he takes, and he takes pictures of everything he sees on top of the posed photos he already knows look good – going through the photogallery honestly felt like reliving our wedding day in all its best moments! Matt worked tirelessly on our wedding day, and if anyone (including guests) wanted him to take a picture, he would get it and keep going, even if he was taking a break! It’s clear Matt is passionate about photography and capturing all the moments of our special day. Lastly, Matt is insanely fast and efficient. Our ceremony photos are from every angle, and it feels like we had at least two photographers that day! It also meant we were actually able to spend a surprising amount of time on our wedding day talking to your guests, eating, drinking, and partying. Matt was an incredible photographer and worth every cent!!

Matt's work is amazing! Picking the right venue and photographer were the most important for me (after picking the right person to marry haha). He gets every shot you want and even more you didn't know you wanted. His photos always come out amazing! He's also laid back and great to work with. We'll definitely be using him for any photo sessions in the future.

Matt did an amazing job! Even though the weather was gray and overcast, and it started to rain just as the outdoor ceremony began, all the photos were gorgeous as if it were a beautiful, sunny day. This was a pandemic wedding with just 10 family members present, but Matt captured every important moment. I thought some of the photos were posed, as the angles and composition are so perfect, but my daughter (the bride) assured me that those were candid shots Matt captured during the actual ceremony.
