I could not recommend Matt Simpkins Photography more!!! He came highly recommended for engagement and wedding pictures from a friend. We hadn’t met him until our actual engagement ...
photo shoot and while I am a performer and very comfortable in front of a camera, my fiancé is not- nor does he feel Comfortable with PDA- so I honestly wasn’t sure how the engagement pics would go! BUT, Matt is so fun and cool that he put both of us at ease, and we had a blast! AND we got the CUTEST pictures that truly captured who we are as a couple, and memories that will last a lifetime. They came very quickly and were easy to access and download!
He just shot our wedding day a few days ago, and we are DYING to see the pictures. We truly could not have asked for a more calming, enjoyable presence on such a hectic, crazy, and exciting day. Everyone commented on how great he was to have around, and again he just made everyone feel so comfortable and have a blast while getting his job done. He is so professional and knows exactly what he is doing, while treating you like a friend, and that’s the perfect combo! Highly recommend Matt for all your photography needs.
I highly recommend hiring Matt Simpkins as your photographer for your wedding day. Matt was extremely professional and receptive during the pre-wedding planning phase all the way ...
through to the delivery of the final product. Matt responded to all emails/phone calls promptly.
On our wedding day, he made me (and the rest of the bridal party) feel comfortable and at ease as he took photos. He went about his work in a seamless and unobtrusive way. During more formal photos, Matt provided great direction in a quick manner that allowed us to maximize our photo session time in between wedding day events.
The finished photos were delivered to us in less than two weeks time as promised. I cannot begin to choose my favorite pictures, as they are all amazing. Matt truly captured the energy and essence of our wedding day. Once again, I highly recommend Matt Simpkins as your photographer on your wedding day.
If you want the best, Matt is it. He is smart, has a great artistic eye, and knows how to get all those important moments. He will have all your questions answered beforehand, and ...
get the information he needs to give you the best shoot. He's got a great personality too, which makes for an easier photoshoot, in case you are not always comfortable in front of a camera. We loved our shots, and highly recommend him.

an take one look at a space, and know exactly what to do with it. They brought out the absolute best in us and in our bridal party. We had a BLAST working with them throughout the day, and they kept us comfortable and happy at all times. We highly recommend them for any occasion, not just a wedding. You will not be disappointed!
Matt was incredible to work with from day 1. We all live in NYC and he did our engagement photos, which gave us a sneak peak into his style, clever wit and eye for those perfect s...
hots. I didn't think it was possible but our wedding photos were even better than our engagement shots. He captured the day in such a personal, creative, beautiful, and intuitive way. He is a true artist and has a wonderful gift. He had a second shooter and somehow you barely knew they were there but still managed to get incredible photos of the entire day. He was more reasonably priced, including transportation, than all of the photographers we researched in CT that were close to his caliber. He's gets back to you with answers to questions very quickly and we had our wedding photos 2 weeks after the wedding. If I could give him 10 stars I would!
Matt was very professional, and pricing was competitive with some of the larger companies. Matt is very creative and had fun ideas for some of the posed photos. Matt also has a u...
nique style that captured the spirit of the wedding in candid photos. He was very accommodating in all requests. The photos were provided quickly, and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!
