Matt Stone Photography

Working with Matt was amazing. We chose him because he had photographed the weddings of 2 of my cousins, and we are so happy we did. He was so easy to work with and is laid back, which was very helpful as we were quickly losing light for our formal photos (which ended up with him getting some pretty awesome shots!). The bridal party was commenting throughout the wedding about how great Matt was to work with. 24 hours after the wedding Matt posted a few pictures on Facebook and my husband and I were blown away with how great they came out. A week and a half later he posted a 5.5 minute slideshow online with our wedding song. A few days later Matt sent us a link to view all of our pictures and we could not be happier with the way they turned out. If you want a wedding photographer who captures real moments and to get photos filled with emotion, look no further!

Matt Stone was an absolutely fantastic photographer. He is so much more than a "wedding photographer." He is a true photo journalist and clearly has the uncanny ability to work with all types of people! My husband is not particularly comfortable in front of the camera. He prefers to be behind the lense. He isn't a fan of posed pictures or the time it takes you away from your wedding guests. For me, the photos were one of the most important elements of our wedding. Memories are preserved on film for a lifetime! Matt was able to accommodate both our needs. The bride and bridesmaids took their photos before the wedding, as did the groomsmen. This cut down on photos after the wedding. So, I recommend adding a second photographer for your wedding. Matt's assistant was fabulous! She kept the boys in line. We managed to do our post wedding photos in 24 minutes and made it to our own cocktail hour!! Bride was happy. Groom was happy. EVERYONE was happy. Matt was the least intrusive photographer I have every witnessed. We barely knew he was there... He, however, managed to get some of the most beautiful photos of my camera shy husband and I. PLEASE book Matt for your wedding. You won't be disappointed!

Matt’s photojournalism background really captured beautiful, spontaneous moments during our wedding ceremony and reception. Matt’s personality matches his style - he is so laid back, relaxed, and calm that you kinda forget you are getting your picture taken all the time and just enjoy the day! He took time to get to know us and our families - he was very good with the bride’s mother (who doesn’t like getting her picture taken), sensitive to delicate family situations, and flexible when we needed to change the location of one of our group photos so that our grandparents could more easily join in. His assistant, Tara, was also very talented and friendly. He goes out of his way to find great locations and backdrops for your photos. He also worked well with our venue coordinator and DJ so that photos moved along at a good pace. We would highly recommend doing an engagement session with him as we found it really helpful in getting to know him and feeling comfortable getting your picture taken before the big day. Overall his prices are very reasonable given his level of expertise and experience, and we are so thrilled he was a part of our day.

First class photography! Matt is not only a wonderful photographer, but also wonderful person, which just makes things that much more special. He makes you feel at ease and also likes to have fun while he works so in turn you have fun. Our wedding day was "pouring buckets of rain" and he took the most amazing pictures anyways. We cannot wait to see them all!
