Based out of Carmichael, CA, in the Sacramento area, Matt the Music Man DJ Services is an entertainment company available for weddings and other milestone events. Owner Matt Holsinger has more than 15 years of experience being a DJ and loves using his talents to provide a bespoke soundtrack to life's biggest moments. Since he was a child, Matt has loved music and performing. He can play various instruments and has also been part of several bands and a professional a capella group. Since opening Matt the Music Man DJ Services, he has performed at over 500 weddings. Matt is happy to travel throughout Northern California and beyond. Matt's services include acting as MC, making any important announcements you might need. He's happy to play music from all genres and provides his own professional equipment, including microphones and a sound system. You can enhance your chosen services with features like live music performances, uplighting, dance lights, a photo booth, special effects for the dance floor, cold spark fountains, personalized photo montage videos, and a projector and screen.

riend. he was professional but still kind, Greg and I had no clue what we were doing but he made it so simple. whenever we had a question or needed to change something, he was right there ready to answer our question or putting his notes that we needed to change something. I have a lot of anxiety and I was not really looking forward to our wedding because I'm very socially awkward and I really didn't want toasts or a big entrance but he helped make the day feel so easy and it really helped with my nerves so that I felt comfortable enough that we could do the big entrance and have people do toasts. oh boy! and when he took out the karaoke machine I thought there is no way but it was so much fun. I had so much fun jamming with all my friends singing our favorite tunes. it was amazing. 10 out of 10 couldn't recommend more that he is one of the best. Matt Holsinger

Owner

Music and performance have been central passions in Matt’s life since childhood. He grew up studying various instruments, playing in bands, and performing with a professional a-cappella group. At 21 he interned with an entertainment firm and DJ’d over 50 weddings. He then started his own business, and has performed over 600 weddings and events. Matt studied music in college, and has coordinated and MC’d concerts and community events. His passions also include playing guitar and piano, producing music, and spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters.
