My wife and I are hard to get ahold of so we appreciated that Matt and his wife Sarah were understanding and patient with our responses. Our venue gave us the wrong numbers on how much power was available and Matt rolled with the punches and got all his equipment working with some quick thinking. We only chose a few songs and left the remaining music for him to decide. Matt felt out the vibe and made the event sound great. As the night progressed and we got drunker, I requested an obscure song and he found it. Matt uses an app that allows for the bride/groom to select music and setup the timeline of the event. It’s very helpful and you can invite others to make recommendations for songs if you wish. The wedding sounded great and he was helpful making several announcements we had. 5/5 would use Matt again.

The DJ / emcee really does set the flow for a wedding and Matt is definitely a pro at this. My husband and I kept saying to each other throughout our wedding how great Matt was with handling the crowd and directing everyone.
Something else I really love is that he makes the planning super organized and easy for you. You get to use an app that you can collaborate on and add any songs you want. It’s a detailed timeline where you can also add important notes, timing of events, and announcements, ensuring a smooth delivery.
He’s great with communication, he explains his process thoroughly from the get, and is super punctual and organized. Not to mention the music and dancing was so much fun, we ended up paying for another hour. He was incredible. Highly recommend him… you won’t regret it!

Music and performance have been central passions in Matt’s life since childhood. He grew up studying various instruments, playing in bands, and performing with a professional a-cappella group. At 21 he interned with an entertainment firm and DJ’d over 50 weddings. He then started his own business, and has performed nearly 1000 weddings and events. Matt studied music in college, and has coordinated and MC’d concerts and community events. His passions also include playing guitar and piano, producing music, and spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters.

consultation because his talent & personality was evident instantly. He and his team are incredibly organized and experienced. Arguably, the DJ/MC of your wedding is the glue of the wedding day, more than people realize. They set the mood and are leaders of the energy. Now onto Matt…. He has a rare quality that most people don’t naturally have: he is an empath and is able to sense the personalities/emotions of the people in the room. He can pick up on subtle cues of people, understand every single person just by observing. This is EXTREMELY important for an event like a wedding. Without Matt, I don’t think my wedding day would have been as perfect as it was. Matt puts his whole heart into what he does. Speaking of his work ethic, my mom decided at the last minute to give Matt a task on the Thursday before the wedding day, which was to put recordings of me and my dad from 20+ years ago into the music of the father daughter dance as a surprise to me and all the guests. Matt said, “I’ve got this” and he sure did. And when the song came on… not a dry eye in the room. It was a moment in my life I will cherish forever and still replay in my head. And let me tell you, our guests LOVED him. His mixes were amazing, and people were tearing up the dance floor. We got word after the wedding that the owner and other workers at our venue had never seen the sheer quantity of people get up on the dance floor when Matt said "Get up on the dance floor!" Truly it was like 80% of our guests all out there having fun, and it stayed that way for quite a long time; most weddings I've been to it's usually just some of the younger crowd. That's how amazing Matt is. I would HIGHLY recommend you book with Matt. He will make your reception super fun and memorable!

Secondly, the day of, he arrived promptly with his assistant Aidan and made sure everyone understood the timelines we set. There was a sense of care as they made sure the speakers/lights were set up in the most optimal way. Matt has a great ear, and understands atmosphere extremely well. He kept the vibes where they needed to be and everyone enjoyed dancing the night away.
Cherry on top, Aidan was able to get drone footage of the Lion Dance performers. This was a day of suggestion by Matt and we were elated.
We would highly recommend and will recommend Matt and Aidan to whoever needs a DJ! They made our special day even more special.

The whole night people were dancing, interacting with each other, and having a great time. My husband and I have joked it felt like we had 2 coordinators because Matt and our coordinator worked so well together. Any little hiccup that happened (because they will happen in a wedding) felt unnoticeable to any of the guests. We have had non-stop compliments from people about Matt and how amazing he did that night. I would gladly hire Matt again in a heart beat for any event in the future.

with him I was a bit nervous but it was like talking to an old friend. he was professional but still kind, Greg and I had no clue what we were doing but he made it so simple. whenever we had a question or needed to change something, he was right there ready to answer our question or putting his notes that we needed to change something. I have a lot of anxiety and I was not really looking forward to our wedding because I'm very socially awkward and I really didn't want toasts or a big entrance but he helped make the day feel so easy and it really helped with my nerves so that I felt comfortable enough that we could do the big entrance and have people do toasts. oh boy! and when he took out the karaoke machine I thought there is no way but it was so much fun. I had so much fun jamming with all my friends singing our favorite tunes. it was amazing. 10 out of 10 couldn't recommend more that he is one of the best. DJs we could have asked for.
