I had a virtual consultation a month ago and still haven't received a quote. Also, their bouquets and boutonnieres are all the same price regardless of the type of flowers you want.

Three years ago I got to experience the best day of my life!!! I married my best friend right on my parents gorgeous property in Madison Township PA! I am NOT from PA but was born and raised 20 ministers from Manhattan! A BIG city wedding in the country! Michelle and the whole Matterns team turned my dream into a reality! I quickly realized how much work was going to have to go into a “backyard wedding” of 300 people and needed someone I could rely on. Michelle not only did my flowers but made sure I had tables, chairs, tables cloths, NAPKINS! Anything I needed! She was also there the day of the wedding to make sure it all went smoothly! And believe me we had some up and downs! For two weeks straight, before the wedding they told us it might not happen because of the saturated grounds! Michele helped me look into different venues and as my heart was breaking with each one she promised me that we would have the dream wedding we planned. Even if it rained she would make it work! I still try to keep in touch and visit the shop when I’m in PA… I’m so glad I found Matterns and they were part of our big day!

Since the day I got engaged back in 2018, I knew I wanted to hold a bouquet made by Matterns. We booked with Elyssa and working with her was nothing but amazing. She was super accommodating to work with when we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and went above and beyond. She really listened to my vision for my wedding and DELIVERED. I was/am in LOVE with my bouquet. She also made the floral arrangements for the alter at the church and guests and the priest are still talking about them. SO unique and just simply gorgeous. Mattern's is by far the best vendor we have ever worked with. They truly helped make our wedding the day of our dreams! From flowers, layout, and rentals to signage and day of management-They truly go above and beyond! What I loved most about working with Mattern's is they brought our vision to life. They did not impose their thoughts or change our vision in any way. We will be lifelong customers!

Matterns truly made my wedding day dream vision come true. I will never forget the moment I walked into the tent, seeing it for the first time. Michelle and the Matterns team transformed our outdoor tent into my pinterest dreams- in fact, everything looked BETTER than I could have ever imagined. Matterns goes above and beyond when coordinating every detail. I did not have any type of wedding planner or event point person and Michelle essentially acted as that type of person for me in addition to being my florist. She ensured that set up on the day of the wedding was smooth and seamless. I did not have to worry about timelines on the day of- flowers showed up as needed where they were supposed to be. She also had her team hand build custom pieces that I really wanted and worked tirelessly to make my dream come true, all while staying in budget and never being pushy. The Matterns team will be as creative as you would like and are not particular to one style. They are up for any challenge. My sister also used Matterns and we had different visions/ styles for our wedding and both were executed flawlessly. I will absolutely be using Matterns in the future and recommend them to any bride looking for a stress-free, beautiful day executed with immense attention to detail, and as much communication and creativity as you, the bride, desire.

Matterns was amazing to work with from the beginning! We find out about Matterns while reviewing their work they did for other weddings on Instagram. From our first meeting with the team, we felt very comfortable that they understood our vision and wanted to help make our wedding day bright and beautiful. The direction we gave the team was for the bouquets and arrangements to be colorful...the team out did themselves with beautiful pinks, purples, blues along with beautiful greenery. Also, the team was also so accommodating with the ever changing COVID-19 restrictions, but with every request, they were so happy to help! We look forward to utilizing Matterns in the future for family events!

Matterns made my fairytale wedding dreams come true! I showed them some inspiration pictures, told them about my vision for the day, and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Everything was absolutely beautiful and magical, and worked within our budget. I cannot thank them enough for making my day that much more special.

We hired Matterns to do the florals for my bridal shower at The Beaumont Inn, and Elyssa truly outdid herself! Everyone raved about the beautiful centerpieces, the tall scattered arrangements, the loose florals on the Mimosa bar, and the beautiful display on the welcome sign! Guests were actually jokingly arguing about who could take the arrangements home since they were so beautiful! Elyssa was a pleasure to work with through the entire process (we had to reschedule my bridal shower almost 6 times between throughout 2020 and 2021 due to COVID), and I could not be more thankful with how accommodating, flexible, and understanding she was. Her design and eye for detail was wonderful -- she knew exactly what I was thinking without even providing much guidance. If I was holding my actual wedding in the Wilkes-Barre area, I would absolutely hire Elyssa and the Matterns team to do my florals as they were truly breathtaking!

Mattern's was absolutely incredible to work with!! I had a very specific vision that I wanted to bring to life for the florals at my wedding and they made it happen! Elyssa is such a joy to work with; she's responsive, creative, and really listened to my ideas and understood the aesthetic I was trying to create. When a supply issue with some bleached greenery happened due to Covid, she immediately presented me with a back up plan and alternative options and it all worked out SO beautifully. When I first saw my reception space all set up my jaw dropped; florals were one of the details I had been looking forward to the most and I am still just so blown away by what Elyssa and Mattern's were able to create for my special day. Can't recommend them enough!!

Mattern's was my wedding vendor for my bouquet, my MOH’s bouquet, the groom & groomsmen boutonnieres, florals for the wedding cake and the church ceremony floral arrangements. Elyssa was amazing to work with and the end product was above and beyond my expectations. I absolutely LOVED my bouquet and received so many compliments on it throughout the day. Elyssa worked with me to make my vision (and Pinterest board) a reality. She worked within my budget and was happy to accommodate my request of adding in my grandmother’s brooch to the ribbon on my bouquet which meant so much. I’d highly recommend Mattern's (and Elyssa) to future brides- you won’t be disappointed!!

Elyssa was AMAZING to work with. She was so communicative and listened to every idea that I had and turned our Wedding day into the magical fairytale I have always dreamed of. When looking for a florist, I did my research and knew that Mattern’s would deliver the quality and creativity I was looking for. I can’t thank Elyssa enough for taking the time to create a specialty bridal veil for me made out of flowers, create a ROCKING 1990’’s cascading bridal bouquet, and not say no to any glitter and sparkle filled idea I had! She knocked every detail out of the ballpark and truly listened until she understood my vision. She hand delivered all the flowers the day of the Wedding, was so positive and kind, and above all is truly passionate about her work. Mattern's is changing the flower game in NEPA, I highly recommend them for your Wedding or special event!

Heather did an incredible job creating the floral arrangements for our wedding. Although we did spend a lot, her work was worth every penny. I couldn't have been happier with my bouquet as well as the girls' flowers. We did not go overboard in the church, but the arrangement was very nice. One of my favorite moments of the day was walking into the reception site and seeing just how beautiful the room looked. We went with two different types of centerpieces. The tall candelabras were unique to Matterns. From the main centerpieces to the side tables, Heather had little touches everywhere. She also did a phenomenal job decorating our cake with fresh flowers. I would highly recommend Matterns to future brides. Their work is worth every penny.

Our florist at Mattern's was Heather. There aren't enough nice things I can say about her. She was truly magnificent! She helped us out every step of the way. She was always available when we needed her and always responded to our questions very quickly. We absolutely adored our flowers. I don't think they could have been any more perfect. She helped us pick everything out. She even had me take pictures of the place we were having the event so she could see what she was working with and plan everything. I showed her a picture of how I wanted our trellis to be and it turned out so much nicer than I could have imagined. She showed up 4 hours in advance to set all the flowers up and did a wonderful job. All of the flowers lasted throughout the night. Our trellis still looked magnificent 3 days later. Well worth the price!!

I worked with a very nice florist named Heather. She took care of me as if I were her only customer. heather went above and beyond what I would have expected from a florist.
