Matthew was on time and so helpful! He made sure to get every shot on my photo want list and more! He was organized and knew exactly what would look best. My photos came out great and were ready to view literally the next day! I am obsessed with all the photos! He also made sure to get every shot with our friends and even stayed a few minutes over his time to get some shots of our first dances!! It was obvious how much he cared about getting us all our shots and making sure we loved them! We actually got quite a few compliments from some of our guests at how great our photographer was so he had evidently had great interactions with guests as well. He worked with our budget and really delivered top quality photography! I would highly recommend him and will be using him again.

You can trust Matthew Chambers to deliver great photos without overcharging you. We hired Matthew to shoot our wedding, and from the start of our correspondence I knew I was making the right decision. I appreciated his no-nonsense business model and years of experience. He knows what works, and does it. However, I didn't feel like I got a "one size fits all" treatment. I can't think of a shot I was hoping for that he did not capture. Admittedly, I was hoping for classic simple photos before and during the ceremony, because I think that's what we'll apprecite most years from now. However, he was ready with plenty of pose suggestions when we were feeling awkward or not sure what we wanted to do next. On the flip side, when it came to candid photos, he got plenty that captured guests' personalities and the relaxed yet festive vibe of our reception. Thanks to his experience in the Austin wedding and event scene, he had shot at my venue before, and was familiar with some of the best places for photos. My friends appreciated his offer to take posed portrait-like photos of them on the balcony. A practical bonus was that he had room in his contract and schedule to stay later for an additional cost, if necessary. Our wedding didn't run late, but it was nice to know that he would be flexible to capture as much of the evening as appropriate. I would absolutely recommend Matthew Chambers to anyone who needs a wedding photographer!

We're so happy we selected Matthew to be our wedding photographer. He had excellent suggestions for shots and worked with our requests, and is so personable. He put us at ease quickly and established a great rapport with our guests. We got our proofs within 48 hours of the wedding and even before editing they were gorgeous. He was super accommodating when we requested edits to specific images. His prices are so budget-friendly, which we really, really appreciated, and he was flexible about adding another half hour to our original booking. We would definitely recommend him to others!

I have pictures taken before But nothing like Matthew does his He was very straight forward on where he wanted us and how he wanted us we didn’t have to think about how to do anything camera position because he did all for you very friendly and outgoing ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Honestly very great photographer, had some issues with communication with myself, the photographer and the venue. Once we removed the venue and spoke directly via text and I explained the plan as we had planned for our wedding everything was great and he adjusted for the time, the rain and taking family photos before, after and during the event. He also showed up early, was polite took many photos overall great and very efficient and we got our photo's almost the next day and our wedding was a few days before Christmas eve. Great to work with and helped the event (wedding) run smoothly throughout all the hiccups that happened during the night and with staff.

We used Matthew for our wedding and engagement photography. I found his website online and decided to go with him based off of his pictures and his reviews He gives good direction when taking photos about certain poses. If you want him to he will move your body to exactly how he wants you to be for a professional looking photo. I felt like I looked awkward but the photos turned out amazing. I am not into the boudoir photos he was discussing but he was definitely good at posing me for engagement photos. He is very very talented and has a keen eye for detail and creativity. He was able to get all the shots we wanted and shots that we didn’t know we needed and was able to do it in very little time. His pictures turned out really well before they were even edited. He is able to change his camera settings before he takes a picture so all 1000+ pictures of ours look edited and ready to go already.

Matthew was recommended to us by a co-worker and it couldn’t have been a better recommendation! He made the process of booking, wedding day show up and photos of such a special day flawless for us. Matthew Chambers provided excellent service, both during and after our wedding April 22 2023. The photos taken exceeded our expectations AND he encouraged, led, and wrangled group pictures with aplomb and grace. He touched up photos quickly, touching up more than we expected. Touched up photos were available within 2 days of the event and helped make everyone more beautiful and handsome.

Matt went above and beyond the call of duty for our wedding. There was lots of stress between families on getting the all the pictures we wanted and Matt was able to get all of them and help us come up with great photo ideas. He also helped my bride figure out how to hold her dress to keep it from getting dirty. He also helped solve issues we had fitting my 9 groomsmen up in our small chapel. He also help balance photos of the party since I had 9 groomsmen and she had 6 bridesmaids. Matt was a calm presence on a crazy fun day. He made it a wonderful time!

Matthew was an incredible photographer. Every step of the way he eased my stress and made sure I have amazing photos that will last a lifetime. He always was available to answer questions, deal with parents who were worried and stress and make sure everything was flowing and on schedule. Not only did he help me with my poses to accent my curves, he helped me find a makeup artist for the day of, help with the organization of the bridal party since there was a uneven number of groomsmen to bridesmaids and dealt with the stress of family wanting to take control. My fiance and I are doing a destination wedding but were looking for pictures for our engagement photos and save the date. Matt was outstanding - he had great suggestions on poses and backdrops in our chosen location, and he went above and beyond with accommodating our ideas and suggestions. But for us doing a destination wedding, we likely would have hired Matt for our wedding he was that good!

Matthew Chambers did a phenomenal job for our wedding! He didn’t just take amazing photos but saved our wedding in the process. He showed up early and did an evaluation of the venue inside and out to determine what he had to work with. We had no wedding planner and the DJ was supposed to keep the time line of events and keep things going but had his friend fill in so we were in a panic from the start. Matt said don’t worry I have you covered. He helped all the guys get their ties right, joked around with the entire bridal party, and myself to ease all of our nerves. Not only did he take some of the most amazing photos, he captured every part of our wedding, and also kept the guest entertained as he got some great shots of them. With all of his expertise he was able to jump in and help everyone know where to go and what to do. There are always going to be problems at any event but everyone will be so caught up in the day, nervous, and not thinking straight. There were a number of those and we just panicked but Matt was calm, cool, and professional and solved those that came up one right after another. One of those issue was the wine was left in the trunk of a car all day and we thought now we have no wine. Matt told the groomsman after their pictures to go get the wine set the timer on the phone and put it in the freezer and it will be perfect for the guests by the time we get done with the rest of the photos. I still can’t get over all the great shots he got of everything including some candid shots no other photographer would have thought of. The following day, I looked over the shots he took and he got one of me and two close friends who huddled up with me before it kicked off to pray with me because I was a nervous wreck. It was a great moment and he got it with and many others. Our entire day is now captured in every detail with magnificent photos. His prices are so affordable, and you get more than a wedding photographer when you use Matt. One of our guest commented after she saw the photos and asked what we paid and was shocked because she paid three times that amount and didn’t get anything close to what we had in quality of shots and all the extra things Matt did to make our day perfect.
