00% correct decision in hiring Christina to do our wedding photos. We would do it over and over again. You will not be disappointed. Not only are they extremely talented, but just a joy to work with. We absolutely loved working with Christina and MDS. We opted for a package that included 6 hrs of shooting for our small wedding (plus an extra hour because we weren't able to fly out for an engagement session--but if we had been local, would ...
have been great!), and it was totally perfect--Christina caught so many great moments and shared a sneak peak of all the photos immediately. One of my favorite things about Christina and her assistant who joined her was that they were careful to learn everyone in the wedding party's/our family's names beforehand, so that the group shots were pretty quick. The other really kind thing Christina did for us on our big day was make us a plate of food, two drinks, and sent us to go sit by ourselves! it was such a nice little escape so that we could spend a moment appreciating what just happened together instead of talking to tons of family and friends the entire time. Oh and she even picked up my flowers for me from the florist. Could it get better?!!?
What ultimately set Christina apart from all the photographers we spoke to was that she was someone I could imagine grabbing a beer with. And of course, we did! Christina knows the whole area like the back of her hand and was so helpful as we planned a hi-desert wedding from NYC. She has a ton of recommendations and connections and it seems like she's shot just about everywhere.
