Hi, I'm Matthew! Based in Minneapolis - St Paul, MN, I grew up in the Midwest, graduated, and moved out to the west coast. From there I adventured overseas for about 5 years working for both Disney and Universal Studios. During my travels I picked up a camera and haven’t been able to put it down since! I started in headshots and editorial work, but when I found weddings, something just clicked!!! There’s something special about not only being able to document one of the most important days of a couple’s life but being able to add to it and help create memories and stories that they will carry with them forever! Wedding photography is a beautiful amalgamation of art, technology, and performance. I wouldn’t give it up for the world! Why work with me? Because with me, you're not just getting a great photographer, you're getting a great experience! My number one goal is to make sure you have one of the best days of your lives and I will do everything in my power to facilitate that. You want someone with the experience & awareness to properly do the job and get every single shot. of great images captured of your big day - which we were thrilled with - but it also was a big bonus to have someone with Matthew's personality and professionalism. He arrived a little early, stayed a little late, showed up sharply dressed & ready to go, and somehow managed to walk the line of never being intrusive but always being available. He was fun, funny, and great with guests of all ages, young and old. We got a lot of great feedback from our attendees that they really liked our photographer, which was nice to hear. Aside from a very easy-to-work-with personality, his work was excellent. He had great suggestions & creativity for different shots, he listened to what we wanted for shots, and we couldn't be happier with the results. He captured so many moments, big & small, from the first look and first kiss, to family portraits, to campfire shots, and all the random unexpected action shots of the day. As your photographer I pride myself on my professionalism. For me, it's not good enough to just take great photos. Much like a couple getting married, you have to build a relationship through communication, trust, and laughter. I make time to build these relationships so you can relax and have fun! I will be with you every step of the way to ensure all of your memories, from your special day, are captured. Weddings have the potential to be incredibly stressful, and it's my job as your photographer to help lighten that load.
